Our group takes an annual trip to the Dragon and we've always wanted to rent a house on the water, this place blew us away! Inside the rooms are spacious and well equipped, we appreciated the well stocked cookware when making meals for everyone. The twin porches were wonderful for enjoying the weather day or night, and the dock was a huge highlight. We spent hours swimming and kayaking, everyone had a great time and commented on what an awesome place to stay we booked. We will absolutely be coming here again!

This is our second year renting this house. It’s beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean. It has a great dock and screened porch. Very nice property!

The lake house was perfect for our family. The house had everything we needed. The kids loved the downstairs, with the bunk beds. The ease of getting to the lake was amazing. We spent many hours swimming off the dock.
Some might complain of the spotty Internet and cell service, personally I loved our family being a little disconnected from the world. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Comfortable house on gorgeous Lake Santeetlah! Well stocked kitchen, beautifully maintained, personal dock and kayaks. Felt like we were staying at a “home” and not a rental.

I was there with my 2 adult children and their spouses, including my 19 month old grandson. The house was perfect for us. Three separate sleeping spaces and baths gave all of us plenty of space and privacy. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We are accustomed to a view of the mountains, but the creek had a nice view and was close to the big water. The house is also close to town/grocery store. Great dock! We kayaked, rented a pontoon boat for 1 day, and swam off the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened porch. The host was totally accessible and responsive the few questions that I had.

We loved our stay here! Everything was clean and orderly. So many provisions. Communication with the owner was great. The location and access to the water and dock can’t be beat (just a few steps down from where the kayaks are stored). Wonderful screened in porch with comfortable seating; endless views as the sun changed over the course of the day.

Beautiful home! The weather was not great so we didn’t get to enjoy the lake as much as hoped for, but the home was great, well-appointed and offered several spaces for socializing for kids to play and adults to hang out and visit for our birthday lake trip with children :)

At first the house seemed small. As we settled in and the family began to occupy the house, it became clear that there were many options to gather. The best place was the screened porch overlooking the lake. We ate meals on the porch and lounged on the couch/chairs watching the changes in the sky, water, and family laughing and splashing in the water off the dock. So, it wasn't small at all! It was great to have a variety of places to be alone, with a few people, or the whole gang! Owner was great to talk with as well.

3rd year in a row renting this beautiful home for a nice relaxing family vacation. Great dock for swimming off of or docking your boat rental. Location is awesome. Robbinsville is very laid back so great place to get away from it all and just enjoy family. House has everything you need. Two bedrooms upstairs. One on the main floor and a bonus room downstairs that has a queen bed and bunkbeds. Lake Santeetlah is peaceful. Never too many boats or too busy. Will be back again next year!!

Wonderful Lakefront Property
We had a great week. Spent most of our days boating, e-foiling, and paddleboarding and most of our evenings sitting on the dock and watching the water, birds, and fish. Location, neighborhood and property were great. Everything was clean, working properly, and comfortable.

Perfect lake house for a long weekend
Loved every bit of our stay! The house was so cute and comfy, and the perfect size for our group of 4 adults, 2 young adults, and 2 teens. It was so nice to get down to the water without needing to climb up and down a million stairs! Super easy run to ingles for anything we forgot, and just about 25 minutes from Joyce Kilmer memorial forest. The perfect home for our long weekend getaway!

Family getaway
We were looking to go on a family getaway during Christmas break. Our oldest is back from his first year of college and we really wanted some special time with him. Originally we were looking in the Chattanooga area, but there was nothing available that caught our eye. Then we found the lake house in Robbinsville. And what a find it was! The house is impeccable and the owners, Ron and Gail, are the best! They are gracious, available, and very kind. Everything that you hope a VRBO host would be. From that location we drove to Chattanooga and did Rock City. The next day we got up early and went to Asheville. We had lunch downtown and spent the afternoon and evening at The Biltmore. The next day we hiked up to the nearby falls and then drove the Skyway and Tail of the Dragon. We got back late and afternoon and enjoyed sitting on the porch. It was perfect and exactly what our family needed. Thank you Ron and Gaul!

Delivers better than advertised!
We searched for about 3 weeks prior to booking this property. The hosts were over communicative and attentive to any needs we potentially might have had. You can tell that Gail is invested in making sure you enjoy your stay. The views are great! The house is spacious and meets all your checkboxes and more. We travel often and to many different places. This is by far the best rental we have ever stayed in becuase of the total package. We will be booking again soon!

Lake Santeetlah home away from home
This beautiful house was our retreat for a well-needed vacation. Everything we needed was in this home, and we spent as much time on the screened porch, decks and dock as we could. There was plenty of room for the 2 teens to spread out and be alone, or to spend time with the parents. Nice tables outside and inside allowed us great spaces to eat as well as play board games. The beds were all very comfortable too, as a previous reviewer noted.
Though out of the owners' control, please note that a lot across from this home was being cleared/burned during our stay. We escaped the smoke and noise using the pontoon boat we rented from Jim (highly recommend) and found solace on the lake. We also used the kayaks available through the owners - such a wonderful way to explore the lake. Some road noise was noted at times.

Beautiful house. Perfect location. Once you go to the grocery store you don't have to leave the house for anything. Lake Santeetlah is beautiful. We rented a boat from one of the locals again. Just a perfect place to stay. Robbinsville is a very laid back town. We plan on staying here again next year.

Wonderful stay on a gorgeous lake in a lovely home! The house was perfect for our stay, and the outdoor space was the best. The hosts were great, and they thought of every aspect to ensure their guests had a wonderful time. My whole family is already looking forward to another trip!

Relaxing week on a wonderful lake
The house was amazing. Very relaxing. Rented a pontoon which we kept at the houses dock. Had kayaks for us to use. Not in the main lake and was perfect for floating on a raft with no wake off the dock

Perfect Lakehouse
This is the 2nd time for my husband and I staying at this lake house. The house is immaculate and clean, bed is comfortable and is well stocked with all that we needed. The lake is just steps away. We brought our own kayaks for fishing and had no problems getting them to the dock. We loved exploring Lake Santeetlah - the view is spectacular. Ron and Gail were just a call away and were helpful and attentive hosts. Will definitely be returning!

On the lake
A beautiful home with the perfect layout for a family vacation. Location could not be beat! We loved the outdoor daybed and private views of the lake and mountain. We’re looking forward to a future visit to take advantage of the available kayaks. Gail was so friendly and easy to coordinate with.

The best VRBO yet!
This is a wonderfully maintained and beautiful house on a quiet road on the lake. The kitchen is very well stocked - with everything we needed to prepare meals and feed 8 of us. The beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve experienced in a VRBO. We loved having use of the kayaks. And there are hiking trails within 15 minute drive of the house that we thoroughly enjoyed. We loved exploring this area. The owner Gail is wonderful and attentive, checking in on us to make sure we had all we needed. We hope we can stay here again!!

Scenic with room to relax
This property is very well maintained, clean and spacious. Three floors to accommodate everyone for some relaxation. Enjoyed sitting outside with a cup of coffee and watching the calm waters of the lake. It was a surprise to find a Keurig along with a large coffee pot. Great supply of utensils, pots and pans for cooking. Great place to stay, with friendly and gracious owners only a call away if needed.

Fall Stay
Beautiful lake location. Very comfortable house with easy access to the lake. No steps from the lower level, which is nice for those of us over 60. Would definitely rent again.
