This was the best beach house we've ever booked and we have been to many. The attention to detail and cleanliness were above and beyond. The beds and bedding are all high quality and we are leaving very well rested. The beach gear and toys in the downstairs closet made the trip. We loved the carport area and the kids played there the entire time. I almost hate to give this property the review it deserves or it will get booked up! But in all seriousness, you can tell the property is well loved and taken care of and if you want the perfect family beach trip, this is it!

This was our 2nd stay. Like how everything like linens, grill, beach toys, bikes are available to use. Great location of pier and market. Loved sitting on decks and relaxing. Owners very receptive

A Happy Place
Amanda's house was just right for our family. After the first night we all commented on how comfortable the beds were ! Not needing to bring your own sheets is a great perk. She also has everything you need for the beach, so you don't have to bring all of that. The front porch became a gathering place for us every evening to recap each wonderful day. Thank you, Amanda, for providing this special place for families to enjoy !

Great Stay!
This was our second visit to Summer’s Folly and we enjoyed it as much as the first stay! The house is clean and had virtually everything we needed for the week. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and the beach equipment and bikes are a great bonus. Thanks for a wonderful repeat stay!

Perfect place for Thanksgiving at the beach.
Nice house for a family beach trip. Comfy beds, beach toys, quick walk to the beautiful beach and fishing pier. Coffee maker broke and Amanda ran out on Thanksgiving and brought us a new one. Only complaint is there is a new 3 story house with a pool being built about 15 feet from the back deck. Wasn't a problem because of the holiday ( no one was working) but really should have been mentioned in the description of the property till it's done being built. I would recommend this house, after the construction is finished.

Family Getaway
The property was very nice and in very nice neighborhood. Loved that we had beach equipment to use so we didn’t have to worry about renting it or bringing with us. House was just what we needed and loved that every room was big and had queen beds except for master which was a king. Very clean and Ananda was always there to answer any questions that we had. Loved it and will definitely use again!!!!

Our family had a wonderful time. The house was just as it was listed. Very clean and just a short walk to the beach. We loved our stay and we had everything we needed to spend each day on the beach! Highly recommend!!

Great locations and cute cottage
We loved staying here. We have 2 small kids. House was plenty big for us, but could have had another family share too and had plenty of room. We have always loved Sunset beach. This house is close to everything. Even though we brought I our own bikes, they had bikes available. House was clean and like having linens included. Plenty of beach equipment to use. Owners communicate anytime I needed anything, before and during our trip. We had no problems even when we got locked out accidentally once. Amanda made sure we got back in. Thanks for a great stay. We will look Summer Folly up again.

Wonderful all around! Amanda was very responsive and everything listed is accurate. We are a family of four and easily had room to share. Our family has come to Sunset Beach for years and know the area well. The location is great! Please don’t over pack! The house is very well equipped for everything. We have stayed in multiple homes over the years and this one is nicely updated. We will definitely be back!

Nice comfortable clean beach home
Amanda was very good to work with. She was responsive and friendly with all of our communications. The interior upgrades were well done and the home was quiet and comfortable. The sitting area under the house was a big win for us along with the grill and outdoor shower. The beach chairs, etc. were also a big bonus. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and comfortable. All the necessities were present, plus many extras such as bicycles, beach equipment, and board games. Just what we needed
This house was perfect for my family and me, and the beach was beautiful as always. Super clean, linens, towels, and plenty of pillows. Beds were soft and very comfortable. We couldn’t ask for anything better, it was just what we needed to reset and relax as a family. Would definitely rent again!

A Perfect Beach Trip!
My husband and I booked this spot for a 4 night beach trip with friends and it was exactly what we were looking for! Extremely clean and plenty of space for just the four of us, although you could fit more quite comfortably. A straight shot to the beach and a five minute walk to a cute coffee shop as well as Sunset Slush Italian Ice (we made multiple visits) make this an excellent location.
This property offers many things that others we looked at did not and it truly made all the difference! First, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a wagon, and more are waiting for you when you arrive; if you don't go to the beach often enough to have your own, you will definitely appreciate having these provided! Second, the covered outdoor living space, complete with hammock and Adirondack chairs, is the perfect place to relax during a windy/rainy day when the beach is less pleasant. The morning of our last day wasn't the best beach weather, but we still had a great time relaxing outside. Third, if you are planning to cook a large portion of your meals, you will find the kitchen surprisingly well-stocked as well as what we were most excited about: a grill! Lastly, since we were limited on vacation time, we were beyond excited to discover that a full week rental is not required here, as is the case with many other beach houses.
Amanda and Brian are excellent hosts and we are so thankful they provided us with such a perfect vacation home! So thoughtful and kind, Amanda even mailed back a dress I left behind in the closet.
We have already started thinking about a return trip for next year!

Perfect Weekend
My 4 girlfriends and I had the perfect weekend away at Amanda's cottage. She made check-in and check-out a breeze, and the house was beautiful and extremely clean and well-maintained. Also, the fact that Amanda includes linens, towels, beach chairs, a beach wagon, and many other supplies helped us with our packing process. I will stay at this property again as soon as I have the chance. I cannot recommend it enough.

GREAT rental experience
We have been vacationing at Sunset beach for many years and have stayed in different homes/condos based on our party size. While new larger homes are being built, part of the appeal to us is the quaint cottages of years past. That being said, This property did not disappoint. Pictures do not show the charm of this adorable Sunset cottage. The house was impeccably clean upon arrival. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever had while vacationing. The extra refrigerator kept beverages chilled all week and limited trips to the store for ice. The owners had more beach equipment available than needed but it was nice to know they were there if needed. Most importantly, Mandy was amazing. She answered any questions we had and was so accommodating to our needs. We would definetly stay here again. Thanks for everything Mandy!!! (The Ande's candies were a welcoming touch )

A great family vacation cottage/house!
This property stood out in the offerings for Sunset Beach. The description was perfect in the write up. All the extras, grill, bicycles, beach wagon, board games, books, kitchen items were added extras that we were glad to have! The cottage was very clean, and nicely decorated. If asked, the only suggestion I would have would be to have twin beds in one of the bedrooms—kids/teenagers would appreciate that!! I loved the master suite!
