Would I stay here again? YES Great family vacation spot with the beach in view and an easy walk to let kiddos build sandcastles. The interior of the condo is well done and comfortable, with a back nook where our daughter snuck away to read during the storm. The building is older and there is a musty smell in the entryway to the building, but the scent was NOT noticeable in the condo itself. If you are there during a storm, water will sneak in around the porch door, but it's easy to clear with a standard towel. Lastly, pick up a bag of ice at the grocery as the ice machine in the fridge doesn't work. None of these issues are a big deal. Afterall you're renting, you don't own the place. Just know there are minor inconveniences. I feel that Covenant Properties did a good job communicating with us throughout the trip and beforehand. They get high marks for this because they live there and their power was probably out at their house too, and the still kept in touch through the tropical storm.

Loved the location. The unit was exactly as pictured. Beds were super comfortable. It’s set up for a ST stay (which we were) but if you are staying longer you will need to provide all the basics you would need. Spices,

We checked in late. We found the master bedroom infested with flying carpenter ants. Tried to call the after hours emergency number but no one answered. The next morning, I was able to get assistance. I was offered another option but is was not in a great location. It was several blocks away from beach and on a busy road. We wanted to be close to the beach and have at least a view. Management company sent someone to clean up dead ants, spray for any new ants. It helped, but more ants were entering from the window and ceiling. They left the spray for us, and I did spray again and it seemed to help. I could not sleep in that room for fear more ants would return. We wound up using the little bonus room with pullout sofa and the room with twin beds for our stay, those rooms did not have ants. I feel like the condo should not be rented out if there is a bug problem. No one wants to sleep with bugs coming into the room. Property management tried to help, but not a lot they could do. Owner needs to get some pest control done on the building.

We stayed at Emily’s Beach House for the Fourth of July, and have never had a better trip! The location was perfect, we brought our bikes, but also rented a golf cart to make getting around a little easier. The condo was clean and quiet, and we loved all the rustic hardwood and brick touches

We were booked to stay in this adorable condo for 6 nights. Upon arrival, we were informed that the hot water heater wasn’t working and there would be someone coming to fix it. As you can see by the text messages I am attaching, the water heater was never fixed by the time we left. Later, we were offered the condo below us that only had 1.5 baths for 4 adults, or we were offered a condo with one less bedroom that would becoming available. Our only other option was to pack up our bath products and go shower in the condo downstairs. The owners of the downstairs condo dropped by and asked if we knew if anyone was staying in their condo because they came by to measure something and saw someone had been using the shower. I told them it was us and we had been given permission by Covenant. When I asked for some financial compensation, we were offered one night free for a future booking that could not include a holiday. I said that is unacceptable so we were finally given one night free. This is my fault totally for not reading the contract that they are not responsible for mechanical failures and this is what we were experiencing. In the end, the whole week was spent glued to my phone to see when and if someone was coming by to work on the hot water heater. I would definitely recommend this beautiful condo with a great location but would not stay in a Covenant property again.

We have stayed in the unit several times. It has been a couple of years but all the updates and new furniture was fantastic and it looks wonderful. We especially like that we can sit on the balcony and see and hear the ocean and the breeze this time was amazing!

Close to beach, the pier and shops and the crab house in the other direction, walked to them with ease
