Sci, snowboard, escursioni e molto altro ancora! ** Per i soggiorni invernali, si raccomanda di avere un veicolo a quattro ruote motrici o catene da neve per guidare in sicurezza nelle strade vicine in inverno. **

Unit exactly as expected. View was even better. You can even see the mile-high swinging bridge at Grandfather Mountain. Host responded to messages within minutes. We are booked to return later this year.

My family and I have been visiting Sugar Mountain annually for two decades. We have now stayed at nearly every location on the mountain. This cozy home is located at the very top with amazing views and access to the slopes. Every comfort and need was provided. The owner graciously checked in on us. We will definitely keep this property in our back pocket to visit again.

We had a fantastic time overseeing the mountains upon our mornings and into our afternoons. Followed by having a blast skiing all day. Would recommend this unit to people !

We went to Sugar Mountain to celebrate our son’s 17th Birthday. He wanted to enjoy skiing with friends. I am always skeptical about staying in someone’s house versus a hotel. I’m glad I did- the condo is cozy with everything you need away from home. Great views and location! Brad was great to work with and checked to make sure everything was to our expectations! Would highly recommend staying here!

Condo was roomy and homey with a grand view on the huge outdoor balcony. Kitchen well stocked! Kids loved making Hot Cocoa in the Keurig. Very close to skiing, snow tubing and Linville Falls.

Family headed to Sugar MTN for a ski weekend. Condo was exactly as described (even better) with top of the line furnishing from towels, bedding and kitchen utensils. Incredible view of the mountains and direct access to walk to slopes (3 or 4-minute walk down path). Host communication was fantastic. WE WILL STAY HERE AGAIN.

The condo was nice and very clean. However, it was very hard to sleep because the heater made a god awful noise all night long. One of the returns in the primary bedroom made such a loud noise it kept my husband and I awake all night long.

The condo is well appointed and well maintained. The property manager was accessible and responsive. Lots of fun for young kids!
It is difficult to get a family with kids to the ski slopes from this location. It’s not really a ski in/ski out. Like most condos, it is not terribly private. You can hear your neighbor’s entertainment system from below and their voices when they have company. Not a huge deal, but a bit tough for getting young kids to sleep.

We chose this VRBO to be close to skiing, it's beautiful views and it's high ratings and when we got there we were not let down. From the second we walked in we were sobpkeased to see such a beautifully decorated condo and once we walked on the porch knew why everyone gave this place 5 stars. The views were absolutely breath taking! We were lucky enough to catch a recent snow fall that had tuned this place into a winter wonderland. We had the most amazing stay. The owner was very responsive, the unit was impeccably clean, the kitchen was fully stocked, the beds and sofas were cozy and comfortable and the fireplace set the perfect ambiance. I would definitely recommend this VRBO and visit again!

We had the most relaxing stay! The house is beautiful, clean and it felt so warm and comfortable. The best part was the spectacular view of the mountains from the living room, master bedroom and loft! We absolutely plan to stay here again!

This unit did not disappoint. Very comfortable! What sold me was the covered, large porch overlooking the mountains! It was spectacular. Location was close to golf, hiking, restaurants, very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

The porch and view are what drew me to this property and they didn't disappoint. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and the layout was great. Would love to come back in warmer months.

Definitely don’t hesitate to book this condo. It’s comfortable and homey and it is a great place to relax after a day of skiing and/or sightseeing. Everything you need is provided from the kitchen supplies to extra blankets, a pack and play, extra linens and comforters. The view is gorgeous and the sunsets were amazing! It was VERY clean upon our arrival which I really appreciated and the owner was quick to respond to any questions I had (he even sent me a message the day after check in to make sure we’d settled in ok). I would stay here again and highly recommend this property!

We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Getaway. The condo is in great condition, located in a wonderful community, and with every amenity you can think of. The proximity to the ski slopes made for some quick and easy ski sessions. 12/10 will return in the future for another stay.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property! The views are breathtaking from the balcony which you can enjoy from both the living room and the master bedroom. The owners have thought of everything and it made it so nice to have a fully stocked kitchen with all needed appliances (even a crock pot!) where we could easily cook our meals there and relax after a full day of skiing. Having the gas logs was so welcome too!
I appreciate how proactive the owners were with checking in before our stay. They were very responsive with any questions.
Location was great and very convenient to all the activities. Side note - we picked up our ski rental gear at Ski Country and would recommend them as well!
Overall a top notch weekend getaway and hope to come back again!!

This property was perfect for our family in every way. The location was a short 7min drive to base of Sugar Mtn and many places to eat. Waking up to the view from bedroom was stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing place!! Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, you will feel like you dropped in on friends who lovingly decorated and continually take care of their home. My husband and I have spent the last 6 weeks traveling around North Carolina and stayed in many hotels and VRBO properties, but none have approached the level of this condo! The view looking out over the mountains, from the deck, master bedroom and living room is truly a sight to behold. The location allows you to visit many great restaurants, shops and attractions with a very minimal drive. Even on rainy days just watching movies in front of the fireplace on the big, comfy sectional sofa was wonderful. The entire condo, including kitchen, is fully equipped with everything you could need (and many you didn’t even know you needed!) for a short or long stay. If you want a mountain getaway, this is definitely your place!

Great rental. We loved staying here, as the condo was very comfortable, had a beautiful view, was very well equipped and was very clean. The owner was also very accommodating. We liked the place so much we are coming back next year!

We loved this vacation rental! The porch and views were amazing. The furniture on the patio was upscale. Beautiful location to some wonderful sites to see. Very close to Grandfather Mountain. Some cute towns and ski resorts. Everything was wonderful except for since you are on the lower level of condo you do hear walking and noice from upstairs but other then that it was exactly how they picture it in their website.

Everything about the condo was terrific. Spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed, fantastic views, wonderful weather, good public golf nearby. Unlike many VRBO, this one is stocked to the max with top notch appliances, great TVs, fast wireless and the best in kitchenware. Very responsive host also.

Perfect ski condo!
We had a wonderful visit! Great location to Sugar Mountain, easy to get back and forth and great location to local amenities and attractions. The condo was very clean, safe for our kids, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Very Nice Condo however....
They do not clean all bedding in between rentals. They will charge you if they have to clean the comforter. My teenagers apparently got chocolate on the comforter therefore they charged my credit card to clean it. First they said they had to take it to the laundromat to wash it then it turned into they have to get it professionally cleaned. Don't get me wrong the property is nice but I strongly suggest you check all linens and comforters before you use them and then once your stay is over. Also remember to take the trash to the dumpster and don't leave anything outside. They will charge you if you leave it. Not removing the trash was my fault. I just throw that out there to make sure you don't make the same mistake I did.
