Benvenuto! Vieni e rilassati e goditi la nostra casa di montagna, chiamiamo affettuosamente "Signora. Orso". È vicina a sci, cascate, laghi, campo da golf più alto della costa orientale e molto altro. La nostra casa è a circa 45 minuti da Charlottesville, Monticello e UVA. La casa si trova a 0,05 miglia dal rifugio Wintergreen's Mountain Inn e nei pressi del Black Rock Circle.
Adoriamo avere delle famiglie in casa e ai bambini piace correre in giro per l'esterno a giocare sugli scogli e sugli alberi.
Abbiamo un limite di età e non consentiamo feste o fuochi all'aperto nei locali.
CARATTERISTICHE DELLA CASA:
Vialetto: la casa ha un vialetto piatto con un sacco di parcheggio e ha solo tre gradini per entrare all'interno della casa.

Sala da pranzo / soggiorno: La sala da pranzo e il soggiorno hanno un concetto aperto e sono molto spaziosi con soffitti a volta e un camino a gas autoportante. Abbiamo un T. V. da 50 pollici con lettore DVD e blue ray per gli appassionati di sport! Appena aggiunto: dettaglio in legno del fienile lungo una parete del soggiorno e un bar.
Cucina: grande cucina (per Wintergreen) con armadi in legno massello e nuovi elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile con alzatina in ardesia. Abbiamo un sacco di rifornimenti in cucina: utensili da cucina, utensili da cucina e 3 padelle, un mixer, un frullatore, una frusta, una grande pentola di terracotta e pentole e padelle per grandi pasti per la colazione! Appena aggiunto: backsplash in pietra.
Mazzo: abbiamo un grande mazzo parzialmente schermato. Vieni su e rilassati, bevi un caffè e guarda il cervo e l'alba!

We stayed here for 4 nights late August. House was perfect for our needs. Great location that is easy to get to. Also, had deer visit the back of the house regularly, which was a bonus especially for the kiddos.

The house is comfortable and well located to visit multiple wineries. Back off the road so very quiet. We did have back up in sink, owner answered phone immediately and handled asap - worked out. We also had a storm while there and power outage- owner once again relayed information quickly. I would definitely recommend this house.

The cabin is well furnished with plenty of seating. The layout is good with the jack and jill bathrooms. We ate almost every meal on the screened in porch. I recommend reading all the information provided from owner. I appreciate that she is clear about what she does and does not provide. The owner is responsive and we will definitely stay there again.

My family and I absolutely loved this house. The location was perfect for everything that we had planned over spring break. I loved how clean it was. Truthfully, it was probably one of the cleanest VRBO houses that I have stayed in. I will say that the only thing that could have made our week even better, would’ve been to have TVs in the master bedroom and the queen bedroom downstairs. There is a TV in the kids bedroom, but I really think that it would’ve been nice to have one at least in the King bedroom. Maybe just a smart tv that will allow guests to log into Netflix, etc. Other than that, zero complaints and I would 100% book this property again. Thanks for having us!!!

We went there for spring break so we could check out a college for my oldest daughter. It was easy to find and it was more than what we expected. The house was very cozy and spacious, I only didn't like that fact there was only one television in the living room, however everything else was great. Mrs. Angela was available when I needed her and responded within a great time frame.

This was the 5th year in a row coming to Wintergreen for an annual golf trip. First time staying at this property and wasn’t disappointed!!! The property was exactly as advertised . Very comfortable particularly the beds. My kids loved the outside space along with the bunk beds and DVDs. We will absolutely be back!! Great location !

The home was absolutely amazing! The hosts had games to play, movies to watch, as well as a lot of basics like condiments and toiletries. The house itself was beautiful! Every single one of us was impressed with the home - even our pickiest children loved it! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely try to book this property again!

Great location off the Parkway between Natural Bridge and Shenandoah National Park with lots to do in the area. The neighborhood has a general store which was a life saver because we didn’t stop and get groceries thinking we would have another opportunity. We didn’t until the general store so got what we needed for the night and next morning. The home had plenty of space for us and best thing was they allowed for our two dogs. Thanks

We enjoyed another visit to Wintergreen. We have stayed in this house in previous years during our visits to the Resort. We enjoy the location, and the home's open plan. The screen porch was particularly nice for the great weather during our stay. The host makes this all very straight forward. A pleasure. We will be back again next year!

Ms. Bear is cozy, comfortable and conveniently located. Angela was super attentive and cordial. We were happy with everything, except for our timing: March. Unfortunately, the listing says it includes a pool, yet it is only for the summer outdoor pool (which is not specified in the listing). During winter, the only way to use the pool is by spending over $100 per person in the spa. Also, our stay was in early March, right after the resort had closed the winter amenities, and not yet opened spring/summer activities. Therefore, we had to look for adventures outside of the resort.

This house was perfect for our winter getaway! Short drive to the main village, well stocked house, including kitchen staples, paper products, etc. The house was spacious and perfect for our group, including a toddler that had space to run around! We also loved the outdoor space for our pup to explore around the cabin! We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Bunk room was perfect for teens and the other rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Owner was extremely responsive to questions before arrival and upon checkout. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Miss Bear. Very clean and well stocked with just about everything one needs for a family get away. It's a quick and easy 5 min drive to the slopes.
We will definitely stay here again when visiting the Wintergreen Resort.

Angela's place was the perfect fit for my wife and me, my late 70's parents, and our dogs with a room to spare. Her home has a rustic cabin feel with a lot of charm, lots of bear decorations (try to find them all!), and plenty of space, making it very comfortable! Angela is easy to communicate with and was super flexible and generous with our group, which made our Christmas stay all the more enjoyable. We would certainly return in the future!

Myself, my husband and our two teenage sons decided to book a trip before Christmas to take our sons snowboarding for the first time. Our first night in this home, there was some sort of a storm, and there were extremely loud chunks of ice falling on the roof the entire night, it was the most horrifying sound we have ever heard. None of us got any sleep. I messaged the owner of the property the next morning to let her know about this as well as realizing the Wintergreen slopes weren’t even open for the season yet which is the whole reason we came and the owner didn’t acknowledge our concern about the noise the night before, and recommended we go to wineries, breweries and antique shops with our two teenage boys as the “solution”. Unfortunately, the home was just surface clean, under every single bed, and behind every single night stand was trash from the previous guests. Absolutely unacceptable. We were never able to get the fireplace started for some reason. I messaged the owner the morning we left to let her know we left an hour and a half early so she could get her cleaning crew over there and to point out some of the concerns we had during our stay, and the owner never responded to my message. Overall, my family and I did not have a good stay at this property. I would not recommend it for others especially if you’re trying to get peace and quiet, it seems like during the winter months when there’s snow and ice the home is very loud with constant pieces of ice chunks falling on the roof.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving at Wintergreen! There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and relax. Great selection of games and we also enjoyed the challenge of counting all the bears in each room. My husband left a note with our total bear count! Thanks again, Angela, for welcoming us.

Our stay at Angela's cabin was just what we needed! We booked at the last minute due to a change of plans and Angela was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the whole process. The cabin was clean and spacious. We were very comfortable with four people and a dog but it easily could hold more people. The location is great, with lots of stuff to do nearby. We would love to come back!
