This was our first after COVID vacation. The residence was amazing right on the beach. The owners quickly responded to any questions or requests. We definitely will be returning!

We had a great stay. We were comfortable and the house was clean and as advertised. We do suggest more towels being left for the guests but that’s the only thing we’d change. : )

Loved that there was a view of the beach from the house. Nice screened porch for sipping coffe/cocktails or having your meals!

The property was clean, welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. The walk to the beach from the cottage was extraordinary indeed.

We love staying on the island! We have been staying for years! The mattresses were very uncomfortable and it would be a great idea to update them!

We stayed at this property for the Daufuskie Island marathon. Upon arrival the property looked fine but just felt stale. When we went to shower before bed they had only left 4 towels, one for each guest, and they were all stained. Our other two guests didn't come so we could pick from the dirty towels & find the least stained to use. One towel had an earwax looking substance on it. The others had black and brown stains that are probably from makeup. When we went to bed the sheets/pillow cases were stained as well and also had black marks on them. I spent 15 minutes picking animal & human hair off of the sheets/pillowcases. The couch in then den has a large rip in it and many areas of the floors feel like they are caving in, especially in the master bathroom. Overall the property is in need of some TLC but there is no excuse for dirty sheets & towels, especially when there are no extras left to switch out if needed. We actually decided to leave a day early due to the lack of cleanliness and the morning we left when we stripped the sheets off the beds, we were disgusted by the mattress pads. They must not be laundered much as they looked dirty and brown and they had what looked to be blood stains on them. We notified the host about the problems & informed her we were leaving a day early due to not being comfortable with the lack of cleanliness. She refunded us $200 without us asking but honestly that wasn't even the rate for one night or the cleaning fee. Overall disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The host was an excellent communicator and even reached out to let me know how to handle an inclement in weather as she would be monitoring in the background. I felt very safe and cared for. The cottage is stocked with everything one could need to be comfortable. That was my second time staying in that particular cottage and, no doubt, I shall return.

And, then there is Haley. Haley was a top notch host from the first inquiry, through booking, and during our stay. I had several questions before and during our stay and Haley always made me feel like we were a priority.

Beautiful location and thats where it ends! The cottage was dirty upon arrival and closets were stuffed with random items and more dirt. We found roaches in the dishwasher woke up to rodent feces all over the kitchen counter, and living room floor! Upon further inspection we found a rodent nest in the couch and another nest in the bed we were sleeping in! We immediately called the property manager who quickly moved us out. This was the worst experience we have ever had in a Daufuskie cottage. We have been going back for 7 years. Clearly there is false advertising on this property. That being said, Haley was amazing and took great care of us once we called her. Sadly,we did not hear a word from the owners

Nice bright place right on the beach. Good layout with 2 bedrooms and 4 queen beds. The view from the kitchen/living area out to the Atlantic is fantastic.

This spot is a great budget friendly option. The bedrooms were large and very clean. Make sure to come prepared with all coffee products like filters, k cups, etc. I would definitely stay here again.
