Very nice accommodations across the street from the beach, but from the photos provided it was assumed that the property was on the beach itself in an uncrowded area.

We absolutely loved our week at Elephant House! The location, the apartment and the people were all wonderful! Elias, Lily, Jonathan and Pato from Baldi's all treated us like royalty delivering food and drinks to the apt AND to the beach. We were so spoiled! Josue helped arrange all of our transportation and excursions and was very responsive to us. We will be back!

Amazing place. Although it is above a restaurant, in front of a busy street, very quiet inside. Sparkling clean and perfect location. Everything you need is right there. The beach is across the street, great place to eat below, grocery store 2 shops down, bus stop across the street and if you want, you can walk to Manuel Antonio Park. I prefer self check-in so I don't have to coordinate times of arrival with soneone but check-in was a breeze and Josue' was extremely helpful taking care of our tour and recommdations on things to do and places to eat. Loved the large balcony. Wish there were more cover from the sun in the afternoon so as to enjoy any time of day.

This is the perfect place to stay in Manuel Antonio. It is directly across from the beach and a short walk to the park. The apartment is very nice , spacious and well appointed. The balcony overlooking the beach is wonderful. It is above a very nice, small restaurant below the apartment but you never hear anything when inside the apartment. While most people staying in the area have to drive or take a bus to the beach this apartment is directly across the street from the beach. This is without a doubt the best location in Manuel Antonio. It is the perfect place.

We had an amazing stay in Elephant Castle. The location is perfect, just across the street from a beautiful beach and a short walk to Manuel Antonio. It's also very close to a whole range of restaurants and shops. The place itself is much bigger than it looks in pictures and was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a kitchen that included everything you would need. Raul was great and was able to get in touch with us even when we were having trouble receiving texts. He met us upon arrival, showed us around, and made sure we had everything we need. The listing on VRBO seemed almost too good to be true and still managed to exceed our expectations. We will definitely stay here again.

This apartment was a super comfortable and convenient place to stay near Manuel Antonio National Park for our family of 4. Being able to walk downstairs for a great meal at Baldi’s or walk across the street to Espadilla Beach was delightful! In addition to MA, we went ziplining, kayaking in the nearby Mangrove forest at Estero Damas, to Rainmaker Park, to Carara NP near Jacó, to Playa Biesanz, and took a local cooking class. Our teens took surf lessons arranged by Pablo, who stores his boards and beach chairs downstairs. Hard to imagine a better place to stay near Quepos/MA!

What an amazing experience and the view....wow. We couldn't have asked for anything more. It is the only residence located on the main beach and the restaurant service to the unit is super convenient. The host was very responsive and welcomed us upon arrival. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

I tried to contact several times and they don’t get back to you. We didn’t have water one morning and there was construction at the property that woke us up before 7 am. Our car was also blocked in. They did not adjust our bill. This location is also over a restaurant which is not disclosed or shown in the photos

The Elephant Castle was a great location for accessing Espadilla Beach for this portion of our Costa Rica holiday. The only negative to the property for our group were the noisy motorbikes that woke us up through the night...I would recommend a white noise machine to help drown out the sounds as night. The views from the balcony are amazing, and we watched the sunset on one of our nights from the balcony while sipping on some wine...truly breathtaking! The concierge (Raul) made our check in and check out very easy.

The property is located across from the beach, literally walk out the door. The restaurant downstairs was so accommodating. The monkeys put on a show for us. A wonderful week in paradise.

The Elephant Castle is a real gem. Location is perfect, right across the street from beach and amazing sunsets from the balcony! Monkies visited us a few times, both spider monkeys and Capuchin. Easy walk to park entrance and several great restaurants. Got "Room service" delivered from restaurant below , recommend Tico breakfast! They also make great white sangria to enjoy with the sunset. Raul was SO helpful with meeting us fir check in and providing lots of tour info before our stay. Raul is also a real gem! He also scheduled covid testing for us so we could fly back to US. Thanks for everything!

We were only here 2 nights but wish it were longer. The place is beautiful and everything was easy and super enjoyable, from the views, the great space, the check in and contact w Raul... to the awesome Pablo who was like family immediately and made our beach experience pura vida! Only wish we could've stayed longer!

it was easy and being a cross the street from the beach and having a restaurant right below us was convenient. they delivered our food upstairs to us. so we always had the best sunset seat.

For a weekend family rental I really enjoyed our time and all of the amenities!!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience luxury at the beach

We had so much fun in Manuel Antonio. The location is great, and Raul is a gem. He was so helpful from helping us with groceries, to booking (and escorting) us to take our Covid test to return home. Pablo was a great surf guide and the people at the restaurant downstairs were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Raul (concierge) did a great job setting up tours and made our visit seamless. We especially enjoyed the trip to Los Campesinos and of course Manuel Antonio National Park which is walking distance from the apartment. Raul also set up a driver to pick us up at the airport in San Jose and deliver is to the door! So nice with all the construction on the road.We highly recommend!

Raul was the most attentive host that we have ever had. We would definitely recommend stay here as we would stay here again. The location was the best being right next to the beach. The food at Baldi’s which is right under the condo. So convenient to order, they will bring it upstairs to you or on the beach. The condo is close to all the major restaurants and nightlife, but private enough that it is quiet and peaceful on the veranda that over looks the waves coming in. If you will be anywhere near Manuel Antonio beach, this is the place to stay, look no further!

Plenty of room for our family of four with great beach and restaurant access. The AC worked very well and was much needed during our stay :). Raul the property manager was fantastic !! He booked our tours (zip lining & whitewater rafting) and we had a great time on both. He also knows all the locals which was very helpful with securing chairs on the beach. All his help and support made for a wonderful family holiday.

The Elephant Castle is a great rental! The apartment is spacious, immaculate, and in a perfect location. We enjoyed the convenience of walking directly across the street to access the beach and walking easily to Manuel Antonio National Park. Raul, our concierge was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Also, the restaurant downstairs was a perk with delicious fresh fruit smoothies and wonderful service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the 4 nights we were in Manuel Antonio. It was nice for our kids to have a separate bedroom and bathroom from my husband and I. The villa is clean, spacious and well-equipped. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the surfers and seeing all of the people walking by and just enjoying the view in general. There was never any noise late at night as everything pretty much closes by 9-10pm. We never heard the restaurant below (Baldi's) even during the day. We enjoyed several meals and many drinks at Baldi's. They will bring your food upstairs to the villa if you want to eat in. Jonathon and Ronnie who work at Baldi's were always super-friendly. It was also so convenient to be able to walk to get groceries, go shopping, eat and get to the national park. Raul, the concierge for this accommodation, was very quick to respond to any requests or questions we had. If we come back to Manuel Antonio, we would definitely stay here again. Pure Vida

We were absolutely amazed at this beach front property. It is at a perfect location overlooking the entire beach. Our family of 4 had a great time. Surf board rental is right across the street. Manual Antonio Park is only 5 minutes walk. Top restraunts and minimart are all within the same block, The house is very well equipped with very high quality bedding and comfortable beds. Having a good washer and dryer makes washing beach cloth very easy. TV has Netflix already and AC keeps the property cool. The entire house is very clean and modern. The property is situated on top of very nice Cafe. But it’s perfectly quite inside. For a few nights when we did not feel like going out, we ordered dinner and they brought the food right up to the unit. We saw mother and baby sloths in front of the house one night. We surfed at sun rise. In the afternoon, we like to retreat to the nice and cool house inside, watching people at the beach. Sunset is a perfect time to relax on the patio for an amazing beach front view. The owner also has person Concierge Service set up for us. Raul from Concierge Blue Horizon, Cell phone; (506)8937 43 06, arranged for our transports from airport, and tours. The tours he arranged had the best quality and were very safe. We felt very pampered during our stay. We can’t wait to come back. You made our 1st trip to CR a very special trip. Thank you.

The Elephant Castle is a wonderful place to stay. I felt it was bigger than I expected. The air conditioning works perfectly! We were very comfortable in the beds, the bathrooms were awesome, and the kitchen was perfect. But the location is what is truly amazing! Right on the beach and it has an outdoor shower before you come up the stairs which was fantastic. It was really fun being able to watch all the action and the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The bus stops right out front and it is really clean and very easy to use. The guys who work at Baldi's were so nice and fun and we hated to leave. And the food was good. We caught a lot of fish thanks to Raul and the fishing excursion he set up and Baldi's grilled everything perfectly. One night we had dinner right on the beach with candlelight and able to order from Baldis. It was a real treat. Raul was so helpful! He was always available and very patient as we tried to figure out what we wanted to do. Tina was very quick to respond as well. I highly recommend staying here and we will be back! Pura Vida!

We absolutely loved this apartment/penthouse, super clean, quiet, well designed, equipped and decorated, excellent help provided by Raul in suggesting places to go, booking trips. I would recommend going to the Rainmaker Reserve by booking a private tour through Raul, so much better than the actual Manuel Antonio Park. Top notch furniture, including excellent beds, bathrooms are big, clean and modern, the air conditioning is functioning perfectly, the balcony with retracting shades will provide you with a good place to watch the beach and the sunset, the entrance is very safe and you even have closed circuit TV outside the unit. There is absolutely nothing negative about this penthouse, if we go back to Manuel Antonio this is definitely the place we would like to stay at. Do eat at the restaurant downstairs, its excellent, much better than any other that we tried (the menu is not huge but everything is very good), once we made the comparison we had dinner every nigh just going down the stairs. Five big stars!

What an amazing place to spend 2 weeks of our Vacation, We arrived and greeted by Raul, he walked us through the Condo and provided us with ideas for our vacation. The condo location was in the heart of perfect spot, over looking the main beach in Manio Antoio. It was also so easy to hoop on the bus to travel, ( right outside the door) . the Restaurant just below the Condo was a added bonus ... we will defiently stay here again :)

This apartment is in a great location and has a commanding view from the balcony. It may get busy in the street and can get a bit noisy during the day but it dies down quickly early evening when the shops close. But it sure provides for an entertaining and ever evolving scene for you to watch from the balcony on a lazy day. Be prepared for a troop of monkeys to run over the balcony or wiring during the day, and an occasional Sloth that travels past hanging from the electric wire at night in front of this apartment. Walk a cross the street for a swim in the ocean and on your return enjoy a quick rinse at the private outdoor shower before you walk back up the grand staircase. The locals are friendly, helpful, patient , and honest hard working enterprising people trying to make some tourist revenue. The food is mostly fresh, generally well made, but try to stay away from the typical large establishments along the main drag up the hill, not that they are bad, but plain, other than their location and buildings. We found our best meals local and around the neighborhood, with a special recommendation for Puerto Escondido Restaurant , I recommend you find out yourself, we dined there several times and always satisfied. We travelled to many countries and used several of the by owner hospitality web services, but this rental employs a concierge service, Raul, our contact guy was superior. He contacted us several days before we left the US, and stayed in touch trough our vacation and was informative and very helpful. On the minor down side of my comments, be prepared for the early garbage pick up in the morning, around 6 a 6:30 AM, and the tourist buses rolling in to visit the Park if you sleep in the front master bedroom. However, it's a great time to get up and go for an early walk along this beautiful beach in the morning, so not really a bother. If you were tired you would be sleeping anyway right. Pura Vida.

We loved this place. Located 5 min walk from the entrance to Manuel Antonio National Park, this unit right across the street from the beach, with 1 min walks to 4 restaurants, and a mini-market downstairs. We had monkeys on our porch almost every morning! The interior is impeccable yet comfortable....Wonderful all around.
