Lovely ! It was a 5-10 min drive from the coast. One could walk as well. Perfect place to be in peace, I loved coming back here to watch the sunset and have a glass if wine away from the bustle of the larger cities. The drive down the coast was breathtaking. The most dynamic views, great food, kind and helpful staff. I would come here again most definitely!

What we liked about the property:
- The staff is nice and friendly :)
- The location is great if you have a car
- Massive terrace where breakfast is served
- View from the terrace is incredible
- Free parking / wifi
What wasn’t great:
- Our room was damped (A/C not working properly)
- Radiator in the bathroom leaking or filled with condensation dripping water everywhere
- No cleaning of the room (we had to ask for it)
- No top up of toiletries/ coffee (we had to ask for it)
- Breakfast (OK but really basic)
Overall, €140/night feels like we pay a hotel price but miss out on the service that comes with it, which is disappointing. And although the staff is really nice, it doesn’t justify the price.

Breakfast wasn’t very good. No fresh bread or croissants, only occasional piece of fruit.

Very friendly staff, beautiful location.
Humid room with poor ventilation.

Not really a 'breakfast person' but it was just perfect - some meats, cheese, fruit and baked goods - perfect. Coffee was gorgeous.
Nothing really. The location is a little out of town. I always debate as to whether to hire a car in Italy or not because I don't like worrying about parking, driving etc. This time I didn't. I would however hire a car when I visit next time. Massa Lubrense is a c.15 mins walk and a rather precarious one at that!

the view is amazing, and the terrace and pool area are really nice.
with views of Visuvius as well as Capri, i can imagine the property has one of the best views of the whole are.
the people working here were really friendly.
- as beautiful the location is, it is also a bit inconvenient.
stores and restaurants are at a minimum of a 15 to 30 min walk on roads that have no sidewalk, or through little alleys that are not well maintained and can be tricky.
- We could get new towels on request, but in over a week the room has not been cleaned once.
- The breakfast was a disappointing. Croissants came out of a plastic sealed bag and orange juice out of a carton. We only ate it once as the quality was lower than an airplane meal. (especially the orange juice we found disappointing as the area is completely covered by not only lemon, but also orange trees.) we eventually chose to walk down Masa Lubrense every day to have breakfast at a local place with some fresh baked croissants and some fresh juice.
- all over we felt the accomodation needed a better room service and meal options to be a hotel.
for an apartment it would need some facilities to be able to prepare some food lets say. now it was a bit in between.

The view was the best part! It was like something off of a postcard. We also loved the pool, as it was kept super clean and we had it mostly to ourselves during our stay. Their partnership with Torre One Fire restaurant was also a giant perk - the best restaurant in Massa Lubrense hands down (we may or may not have eaten dinner there every single night on top of our lunches).
There are so many things we didn't like about the "hotel". First off, the owner needs to learn how to run a business. He had a lovely summer student (who aided us and answered all of our questions throughout the entire stay). There was no housekeeping over the course of the 5 days that we stayed there (no fresh towels, refreshing of water bottles, etc.). We booked the hotel because of the hot tub that's advertised in the amenities available to all guests...that was far from the case. We were told that the hot tub was only for guests staying in the clock tower, which we found interesting because there was no mention of exclusive access to the hot tub depending on which room you booked. We were super peeved with Toni's lack of decorum and sliminess. We are thankful that Anna (his summer intern) did a fabulous job at trying to help us in any way that she could, and tried her best to make us as comfortable as possible. He really should rip a page out of her book. If it wasn't for the view and the wonderful restaurant we ate at, we'd be deeply disappointed with the amount of money we spent to stay at this so-called "hotel", and to make matters worse on our HONEYMOON. The worst part is there isn't an actual kitchen or staff that work on-site to assist you (it's just Toni and Ana). It was bizarre to say the least. I could go on, but I won't. I wouldn't recommend having any expectations going into your stay at Torre Elisabetta (except for the view - the view cannot be beaten).

The location with panoramic views of Capri the bay of Naples and Vesuvio hit us straight in the heart. The terrace from which we also enjoyed breakfast and dinner is spectacular and tastefully furnished with lounge chairs and a jacuzzi that the whole family of five loved. Our host Maria and the owner Tonnino were very friendly and available. Maria left us fresh fruits and water bottles in the fridge as we arrived. They also gave us many good recommendations on nearby restaurants and beaches. The structure holds an original Saracena tower from the 15th century and the atmosphere combining old and new is unique. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, Mimosa and Azalea both with beautiful sea view and newly refurbished large bathrooms and mini fridges. The property is very safe and has a private gated parking lot. We would love to come back!

The views from the location are spectacular. Gabriele and Maria are very helpful. They made great restaurant recommendations.
The closet had a lot of mould build up and the smell was unbearable when opened. Everything else was how we expected. Lastly, the toilet could have used some toiletries and some salt and pepper in the kitchen would have deserved a 9+ rating.

This was one of the best places we stayed at in Italy. Gabriele was so hospitable and ensured he was there to check us in and see us leave. The villa is quite an amazing piece of work and beautifully renovated, keeping a lot of its original material. Views are priceless. Location is absolutely peaceful.
