So cozy, perfect blend of old and new. Lots of thoughtful details and decor. Excellent location, could easily bike/walk downtown.

The little house was clean and decorated nicely. The bed great. It was handy to have a washer/dryer. I was traveling with my dog and was provided a whole basket of loaner toys and a crate so I could leave her contained when attending events of my trip. Eliza was super fast at responding to my needs and I felt welcome.

This place was a great find. Located just outside of West Helena, convenient to everything, yet very peaceful. Well appointed and so comfortable. Nice deck to relax and BBQ in the evening. Dog friendly with small enclosed area.

We rented this truly exceptional cottage for three nights for business in my hometown of Helena where we no longer know anyone. I chose this historic brick home, up against the wooded hills at the mouth of Grizzly Gulch, for its nearness to old Downtown and to Reeder's Alley where my brother had an art studio ... long ago. It was a splendid choice: quiet, secure, pretty, in great repair, hung with nice art and big maps, a likeable kitchen stocked with staples and necessities; we filled the fridge, cooked most of our meals, did laundry, enjoyed Roku TV, slept well and stayed very comfy. Tip o' the hat to the fine hostess for such a tasteful place, we'll stay here again next visit too.

Really interesting area of Helena. Close to downtown but just blocks from the amazing South hills trail system. Older house structure managed with lots of care and attention to detail. I stayed there with my dog and it was ideal. We both slept great and there really wasn’t a thing that we were missing.

The cottage bunkhouse is a funky, historical building just slightly off the beaten path. Nothing is far away from anything else in Helena, so it's location is perfect. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could want except a pizza cutter. My complaints were 1--the lock combo got me in, but then didn't work after that. However, I didn't feel unsafe due to location. 2--There were a smattering of worm-like creatures on the floors, walls, and ceilings. Grossed me out, but might not be a big deal to someone else. I still recommend!

Old but very charming. Quite spacious for a cottage. Most people would consider this to be a lot of steps but they are easy to climb. Pet friendly. Good parking. I would definitely book it again.

It was worth spending a little more to have the fenced yard for the dogs. The location was great too. I bet it would be fun in the Summer with the grill. We will be back!

This amazing little place was wonderful! It is a historical home just outside of town- but not far. So comfy! The fireplace in the living room was a wonderful touch. The bed was really comfortable. I could see it being an awesome place to stay in the summer too with the porch to sit on and hiking trails close. Close to a couple of brewery's and several good places to eat. The owner is super nice and right there if you need anything! We will definitely stay there again!

Eliza was a great hostess. We woke up to six inches of snow the first morning. She shoveled the walk before they even plowed the roads. And kept it shoveled our whole stay. She was very easy to get ahold of and responded quickly to any questions we had

Such a cute place!! Very clean, super quiet, so cozy. We had 2 dogs with us so the fenced-in yard was wonderfully convenient. The kitchen had everything you'd ever need to cook anything. The only thing I had trouble with was the bed was a bit too soft for me, but my husband was okay with it. It's a great little vrbo!!

We were in Helena an entire week for our dog’s National Specialty. This was sooo much better than any hotel. Out 2 dogs enjoyed the fenced yard and we enjoyed all the comforts of home. It was a short drive to the fairgrounds and not far from Hunt Tests. Added bonus, I don’t think anyone from the specialty was closer than us to the banquet at Grizzly Gardens. We took some time to enjoy the downtown area. It was amazing! Loved the food at Windbag Saloon and the Huckleberry ice cream at the Big Dipper. We drove down there but it is walkable. Host was extremely helpful and responded immediately to any questions. We didn’t know about the walking mall until she told us about it.

The property is in a really intersting part of town, in a gulch heading up into the hills, around some of the oldest parts of the original town. Also very easy 20 minute walk to downtown. Eliza was great, amd helpful at every turn. We cant wait to get back!

For the pricing, property outdelivered comparables in the area. Had a week stay and cooked in 90% of time. Full service kitchen. My only negative was the mattress was too soft for my back but thats a personal issue not a property issue. Would book again

Clean and spacious house. 5-10 minutes from all the mountain trailheads. Loved our stay.

This was an historic home, built in 1863, and updated somewhat with modern conveniences. Small front porch with great view of mountain across the road.
3 other outdoor decks available so you can really enjoy being outdoors. Location is fantastic…you can walk to downtown and access hiking trails to Mt Helena City Park and Mt Ascension. Perfect sized house for 2-3 people! We really enjoyed our stay there. Very quiet and relaxing. We loved the giant trail map in the dining room on the wall and used it a lot. Would definitely recommend this place and definitely would come back! Thank you Eliza.

Perfectly sized for 2 people and a great location in the city limits. Requires stair access.

Eliza was very helpful. The house was a nice mix of old mining town house with a few 50’s touches but nicely updated and decorated. Convenient to downtown and restaurants. There are more steps up to the house than obvious from pics so if mobility is an issue be aware. It met our needs perfectly.

Perfect for getaway for two especially if you are an outdoors person the cottage is located across from the city park which Perfect for biking and hiking. Minutes from city you could literally walk, or bike. Loved the quiet. Fire Tower Cafe was the best, Cotton Top Bakery which is right down the road is amazing only open Friday and Saturday so go early and enjoy! Suki's little further into Helena super friendly and delicious food. A neat place to make a take home souvenir is The Painted Pot a pottery place downtown Helena. We had an awesome time. The owner was friendly and they ship for a reasonable fee. Our host was very accommodating and so was our neighbor who was helpful in helping us discover Helena 😀 Enjoy! The Cathedral was also breath taking to just see it. The photos you will capture will be worth your trip.

We really enjoyed staying at this historic cottage. Pottery pieces were placed throughout the house and fun to enjoy. The owner had done an awesome job creating this comfortable environment. It was a bonus that we could bring our dog. The yard not huge but perfect for our Boston Terrier. Our son came over with his girlfriend and their dog for a family dinner. The dogs enjoyed running and chasing in the fenced yard. I would rent this house again.
