We enjoyed our winter getaway in this cozy place with the lemon-lime theme. While many other properties seemed claustrophobic and shoe-horned into the neighborhood this place looked out over a nice open area next to an amusement park just a short walk from the beach. Awesome!

Wonderful home and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Mission Bay Area. Close to everything and Drew was a excellent host.

The property is very small but we really didn't need much room. The room was not ready so we had to wait but it wasn't a big deal. Had some minor issues which Drew too care of immediately. He was very respoonsive. The location is great, just a block from the beach. and right across the streeet from the amusement park. The bay is on one side and the ocean on the other. We loved the fact that there were beach chairs and toys available.

Upon arrival, we were given a designated parking spot but when we arrived, someone else was parked there. Called the owner and he worked diligently to rectify the situation. We had a great 2 day stay over the weekend with minor issues. The only available outlet in the bathroom does not work, neither does one out of two in the bedroom. Ended up doing my hair in the living room, where there is a huge mirror and working outlets. The patio is SHARED, which I noticed is not listed in any other reviews or the owners listing. The people that rent the unit next door, have to walk past your front door and across your patio to get to their door. (Just would’ve been nice to know beforehand). The bed was extremely comfortable with soft bedding. Only one towel was provided for showering, so I’m glad I brought my own so we both had one to use. There is NO air conditioning and it does get humid, but having the doors and windows open while you’re home definitely helps. They also provided 2 floor fans, but only 1 works. The full size fridge was nice for keeping drinks cold. On Friday and Saturday nights, you can watch the fireworks from Sea World right at the end of the driveway or walk 5 mins to the marina and watch them over the water. Being able to see and hear the rollercoaster from the couch in the living room was awesome. There’s also a huge park and green belt across the street for your enjoyment. Traffic noise is actually very minimal in the middle of the night. We had a small fan on and I never heard anything. Would probably stay again, but with a lot lower expectations. Owner is also only available between 9am and 6pm so plan ahead!

Right in the middle of so many things to do. Easy to get to, owner easy to deal with. Had so much fun!

This rental was in the perfect location! It was in walking distance to everything we needed... Park, beach, coffee, restaurants, shops, mini golf, roller coaster, and more!! My kids appreciated the use of beach supplies. The free parking spot was a huge peace of mind. The lemon and lime theme was super cute, too.

I love the properties in this building. They are right next to the Subway, far away from the beach to be peaceful, but close enough to walk a block and be in the thick of things. Clean, hot water, perfect size for a couple or a couple and a small child or two on the pullout couch. Plus the Slice of Life has parking which is a coveted convenience in this area. We had someone park in our spot a few times, but it was not a huge inconvenience for us since we mostly used the spot for family who visited. We visit this spot frequently because family lives a few blocks over so we hope to rent this place again someday.

I know this area very well so I knew where I was booking. This place is very small but it was just my daughter and I so it worked perfect. There is no air conditioning so we used the fans. During the summer it can get warm but we were ok, being used to heat as we are from AZ. My only disappointment was that the wifi info in the owners information book was not accurate. I needed to get logged on for some work that needed be done in the morning. I sent a message to the owner that morning on VRBO and on a cell # that was given. I did not get a response for 6 hours. Telling me that the correct information was in a frame on the wall. It was indeed in a frame that was on the table. I did not see it until I saw the response. I guess I should of looked. I updated the information for the wifi in the owners book. The location is great...so close to everything. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for a short trip, small but sufficient and in an awesome fun spot.

Awakened each weekday at 7am to jackhammers, generators, welding torches, so loud we couldn't hear eachother talk. Lasted til late afternoon every day. Couldn't spend any time there until evening. Ate every meal out and stayed out in the heat every day, with nowhere to go. 2 lint and grime-covered fans are only air flow (no AC), but can't open sliding door during day because of noise, nor leave it open at night for safety reasons (screen has no latch or lock). Mattress on pullout is covered in stiff plastic. No mattress pad or sheets provided, but they'd slip off anyway. Son opted to sleep on the sofa. We left our vacation feeling exhausted and stressed out. Owners did refund $100 for our 4 night stay...about 10%. We will never VRBO again.

Close to both the beach and the lagoon with plenty of good eats and thIngs to explore..the walk to the beach or lagoon is quick even with a 4 year old and beach gear in tow. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming..this is a great place for your mission beach fun!

Great location! Condo is very clean , recently renovated. All bath and kitchen supplies are provided . Beach supplies and chairs are provided. Assign parking . Very nice owner/management.
