We we very pleased will how clean the Trolley was. It had everything a couple needs for a 3 to 5 day stay. You’ll have to live out of your suitcase as there is very limited space to unpack. We were out and about a lot and only used it as a “home base”. It’s close to everything in Old Colorado City so you can walk to get food and drinks. The only issue was the place did get warm at night, so if you need to be cool to sleep you may struggle. We bought a cheap box fan and it helped a ton. Overall its close to hiking, food and drink and we enjoyed it.

We loved our time at the Trolly. It was in a perfect location, exceptionally clean, and exactly as advertised. The hostess is very responsive and had great input on places to eat in the area. We will stay again when back in the area.

If we where to return to Colorado we would stay here again.

The Trolley was not only adorable, but a completely comfortable spot for us while we explored Colorado Springs. We loved the story behind the trolley, especially the original wood that is still there. Centrally located in Old Colorado City, we were no more than a few minutes from everything we had planned. Communication with the host was easy. We had no problem arranging an early check-in last minute even though an obligation did not allow us to take advantage of it. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to the area.

From the moment we walked into the trolley we loved it! It was the cutest ever! The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, hot water, and very clean. Everything you would want in the kitchen the entire trolley was so clean. I would love to stay there again! They copy pods were a bonus.

The Trolley car was warm and welcoming when we first walked in. It was so cute and cozy. It had everything we needed. Would have given it five stars except we prefer a firmer bed.

The inside was beautiful with the look of an old fashioned Trolley car. Great attention to detail and excellent communication. I recommend this property highly.

For such a small place it is very comfortable and quiet. The bed and all its bedding are fabulous, the shower is really great, and all the essentials are provided in the kitchen. My favorite part is that it's a walk away from really neat, eclectic shops and food, and old town shopping. One thing that is not mentioned is that you must use the little driveway on the east end of the property by the fence. If you attempt to use the one on the west end, the neighbor will come in and park their car & trailer, blocking you in. That seemed rude to me since it was really good access, but it is what it is. I have to say this is the craziest communication experience I've ever had with VRBO. I was sent an email at booking that I would receive the code 24 hours before my stay. I had to contact an agent to get the phone number for the owner to get the code just a few hours before my stay, because I didn't receive it. I had emailed and asked if I could have early check-in and was assured I could. I was 20 minutes out when I received a message that it would not be ready after all By that time I was there, and I begged to be let in so I could get my groceries in the refrigerator. The response was so slow that I panicked a little and tried to cancel the whole thing, Upon talking with the hostess, I was told that was not possible. A little put out, I did take the unit and I had a comfortable night. I also received the welcome details for the unit after checkout. Their timing was way off.

This was a cute place to stay. Very clean, with all the Amenities needed. Close enough to walk to all the great shops and yummy food.

The house is in the perfect location for walking to stores and restaurants in Old Colorado City. It's a short drive to downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, and all the other attractions in the area. It's a cute, small house but has plenty of room to cook, eat, work, and relax. The kitchen had everything we needed. A nice touch was a small assortment of oatmeal packets and granola bars. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We booked this space months in advance. Had no issues checking in or communicating with Host once the time came. Directions to the location and parking were clear. Nice private location - close to everything (walking distance to shopping and restaurants in most cases). Space was super clean and we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Enjoyable

Our plane was delayed by more than 3 1/2 hours and rental company gave away our car, so we didn’t get near the “trolley” until 11 p.m. We followed directions host provided, but they were incorrect, so we circled that area and walked through several yards looking for anything resembling a trolley car for a half hour, before giving up and calling the number she had provided. Unfortunately, it wasn’t her phone number! Rather, it belonged to the prior property manager, who was beyond gracious (especially given it was almost midnight and she told us she had been asking the host to update the phone info for some time). If not for her providing the correct directions, we would have given up and gone to a hotel. She also gave us the host’s phone number, which we immediately called. The host didn’t respond that night or at any time since then. The listing had no exterior photos. Because the outside looks like a small one-story home (no resemblance to a trolley), and both the interior lights and tv were on, even when we got to the right address, we doubted we’d actually found it. However, the entry code worked and the interior is as charming as the photos indicate.

The location in Old Colorado City was within walking distance to shopping & restaurants but was also the perfect launching pad for us to check out Garden of The Gods, Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak Cog Railway & the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The Trolley Car is super cute, clean and well appointed making our stay stress-free. Communication with the host was proactive, helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again!
