We stayed with a group of 8 adults and 7 kids 12 and under. The owner was very responsive. Beach access was convenient. The pool and hot tub were very nice and the elevator came in handy. The upper wrap around deck was great. The 3rd floor main level was spacious and the mountains of beach towels, beach chairs, beach carts was wonderful. Lots of games and children’s books was a nice touch too. The house itself was just adequate, we wouldn’t describe it as luxurious. Not clean. Looking for lost things under furniture revealed lots of yucky dirt and crumbs from previous renters. No mop for sticky kid stuff. Appliances old and dirty and the oven sounded like an airplane was about to take off and then kept it up long after it was turned off. There were plenty of kitchen essentials but the kitchen itself was dated and not very clean. The only guests that felt the beds were comfortable were the ones that stayed in the master. The rest of us were very uncomfortable. Even the littles complained of the bunk mattresses being hard as a rock. From all of the reviews we read, virtually 100% were 5 star so I guess our expectations may have been a bit unrealistic.

Our large family had a wonderful time, enjoying superb beach access, wonderful waves, lots of sunshine, and a very welcoming host! Plenty of beach, chairs, and a lovely pool and hot tub! Thank you, Claudia!
The linen service was excellent, and there were plenty of towels for the beach! All appliances were working great. The kitchen was very well stocked.

Great sized home for a large family. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit especially because the beach was not in our cards due to weather. Plenty of space for everyone to have privacy. Loved the kitchen. The host provides literally everything you would need to cook. The high chair and crib were very convenient. The elevator was very nice after grocery shopping. Only complaint is that the master bedroom is right under the main living room which was extremely inconvenient for bedtime for a baby. Walking and chairs moving at the table were so loud all night until everyone else went to bed. I would maybe include that that bedroom is under the main living area so future guests with little kids or babies pick a different room to sleep in. Communication with the host was fantastic. We spoke several times. She is wonderful. Great vacation. Would definitely return to this property in the future.

This home checks all the boxes for a large family vacation - plenty of room, great outdoor spaces, clean, and the owner’s attention to detail takes it up yet another notch. The location is very close to beach access so ideal for coming and going to the beach throughout the day. I will definitely book again if the dates line up. Many thanks, Claudia.

We enjoyed our week at the vacation home! Everything was as specified and we had plenty of space. Small things were appreciated like hand soap in the bathrooms, soap and cleaning supplies in the kitchen and even the umbrellas by the front door. Check in was easy and we were able to get into the house a little bit early. A favorite of everyone’s was sitting on the front porch enjoying the sea breeze. The pool was a big bonus and was perfect for our group. The path to the beach was just two houses down and a short walk along the path. Communication was great! We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived at Claudia's place for a multi generational trip to find a very clean house. It was SO close to the beach were able to go back a bad forth without any trouble. That's pretty important with a lot of little kids. I would recommend any family to stay here.

This house was perfect for our extended family get together. Plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out with a short walk to the beach across the street. Kitchen had everything you need for meals (2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers in kitchen). Would definitely recommend this house!

We rented the house for our executive offsite. The home was very comfortable and the living room/dining space was perfect for us to spend a couple of days doing our 2024 planning sessions. Claudia was a wonderful host and communicator. We had a December rental and the first day was warm enough to kick off our meeting on the deck.

Super comfortable for 10 of us gathering to celebrate some birthdays. Kitchen is stocked with loads of cookware, serving platter/bowls, etc. Easy access to the beach nearby. We spent a lot of time on the front deck/porch. Thoughtful welcome basket waiting for us upon our arrival. Highly recommend!

We were an all-adult family of 9. Plenty of space for all. VERY clean and well-maintained. We were all on vacation so didn't cook but there is plenty of everything to prepare meals, including a crock pot! The TWO refrigerators were great! All the beds were comfortable according to everyone. The pool, hot tub, and pool table were used daily! The elevator was also used by the 2 Senior citizens with bad knees & a painful foot tendon! It is within walking distance of the beach. The reason for our stay: A beautiful couple were married on 9-23. Thank you to Claudia & Abby for this wonderful home!

This is a brilliant home in a stunning location! It is spacious, beautifully decorated, with swimming pool, jacuzzi, table tennis, pool table. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we could need, and we loved the large living area where we could gather after dinner to listen to the musicians in our family. Loved our vacation! 15 family members (4 generations) had a fabulous time in this rental. Well equipped in every manner, beach access, neighborhood, kitchen, pool and hot tub. With 2 octogenarians and someone with a broken leg, the elevator was much appreciated. The 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers were fabulous for this many people. Claudia was great to work with throughout the process. We would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Me and my family have been staying at different locations for years. Bethany Beach, Virginia Beach and Fenwick Island. This by far was the most enjoyable vacation house by far. Cleaniness, great kitchen, big rooms and a great owner.

This location is absolutely perfect! The walk to the beach is so close and the beach isn’t busy at all. The house has everything you need and is so clean. The owners were amazing to work with and so helpful! Some of our favorite local spot to eat during our visit were Bee and the Biscuit and Oscars Oceanside! Book this house, enjoy the food, beach, and local food!

Our entire family (16 in total) spent a week here and would highly recommend this house. The layout is great, especially the huge kitchen and family room - it was all open space and our hangout area. There is a huge dining table with ten chairs + we scooted some stools over to accommodate even more. The kitchen was well appointed with everything that you need. The pantry came with a variety of spices/ingredients that helped with a few recipes. It was a short walk to the beach and the house came with many beach chairs, umbrellas and other items. We had a few rainy days and we occupied ourselves with games and watched a few movies too. Claudia (the owner) reached out a few times to make sure that all our needs were being met. I highly recommend this house for big crowds.

My experience renting this property was fantastic from start to finish! The owners were communicative and extremely helpful from the time they knew the purpose of our stay until the days before we checked in. Our family stayed there as we came to VA to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We also had a small dinner party there, inviting a few other family members who live in VA. The space was clean and suited our needs perfectly. Everything we needed was provided. The owners even added some personal touches, which we greatly appreciated. I’ve been singing their praises to everyone we speak to, and we’ll definitely stay here another time when we’re in the area again!

The experience of renting this property was pleasurable. The home is very close to the beach. We were able to see some areas of the beach from the upper levels of the home. The host, Claudia, made our stay comfortable and went out of her way to assist us in making sure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. The house was great for our trip. Located in a nice neighborhood just minutes from the boardwalk. It had lots of room for three families with teens. The game room kept the boys (young and old) well entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed.
The host was extremely attentive and accommodating. Check in and check out process was a breeze.

We absolutely loved staying in this home for a family get-together. The house is huge and comfortable with plenty of beds and baths for all, and all of the amenities and conveniences we needed. We loved being able to see and hear the ocean from the veranda, and to access the beach just across the street. Croatan is a quiet, private little neighborhood tucked away but convenient to the restaurants at the south end. We would absolutely stay here again.

There were 9 of us for our almost week long stay at Claudia's beautiful beach house in September. The unanimous opinion is that it was one of the best beach houses any of us have ever stayed in. Everything was immaculately clean, the kitchen was so well equipped that we cooked every meal and did not go out to eat once and the two refrigerators made storing all of our food a breeze.
The bedrooms were comfortable, the main living space was perfect for gathering, the dining room table accommodated all of us and a 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzle, and the deck was a wonderful space to sit and watch the sunrise or sunset or catch the cooling sea breezes. And we were so close to the beach that regular walks and beach sitting were additional pluses.
Many of us also took advantage of the pool and hot tub. There was so much to do that we forgot about the pool and ping pong tables and never played! Next time.
Claudia was an absolute pleasure to communicate with and she went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. She is a great hostess.
In summary, 9 thumbs up from our group!

I would like to start by thanking Claudia, the owner, for all her timely answers to my questions. Everything was perfect for the 1 week we spent at this property with family. Great location in an upscale neighborhood, quiet , you just cross the street to go to the beach. The pool and hot tub in good condition, spent a lot of time there. The house itself is beautiful, as described on VRBO. Lots of restaurants at short driving distance, also the boardwalk. And most important, everything is very clean, and everything is in working condition. We will come again for sure.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. They really have thought of everything including beach towels and kitchen towels which aren’t typically included.
The property is located right across the street from the beach and it was great to shower off when we got back and swim in the pool with our family.
Out of all of the properties that we have rented at Virginia Beach over the last 10 years this is our favorite!

My siblings and I have been vacationing together, with our children, for 25 years. We usually vacation at the Jersey shore, but decided to try Virginia Beach for a change. We loved it. The house accommodated us very well. The elevator was very much appreciated by my brother who has a very disabled daughter. The game room and the checkers table were a hit. We also appreciated the short walk to the beach. The owner, Claudia, was very helpful and answered my texts very quickly. This was one of our favorite houses to rent so far.

Amazing beach stay
We had multiple families stay, with children from 1 - 16. My wife is a cleanliness guru a we bring our own linens, wash any dishes we might use before actually use them, and wipe down everything. She said that it was one of the cleanest places we’ve stay and was impressed.
The double fridge and dishwasher have now become a must in future rentals. It was extremely convenient. We talked about making the house a yearly vacation spot, but we’re adding two newborns and two adults next year, so are sadly outgrowing it.

Virginia Beach Family Vacation
This property is very well appointed, has so many amenities and is stocked with basic items. The two fridges in the kitchen, the open and spacious dining area and living area and deck were perfect for a large family. Kids loved the pool and the easy walk walk to the beach. The beach was great, private but not isolated. The garage had everything one would need on the beach. It was nice communicating with the owner and we received great attention. We hope to be back next year!

Beautiful house, excellent location
Our family had a wonderful and memorable week here in summer 2022. The property owner was very responsive and interested in ensuring we had a good stay. The house was well-appointed and clean. There were a few minor maintenance issues that we reported but they didn’t really impact our stay. I can’t say enough good things about the location. We were just 3 minutes’ drive from the “strip” but the inlet prevented resort foot traffic, ensuring the lifeguarded beach stayed private. We would absolutely recommend and stay again if we get the chance.
