Location was great . Plenty of space and nice balcony to sit on

The dividing door between the main bedroom and the smallest bedroom did not close/screwed open so as we no privacy /noise etc between those two rooms ,would be good for families but we were a group of ladies wanting our own space .

Good enough space for our whole family of 8. There was an air conditioning in every room. When we rented a car it was easy finding parking and the apartment is close to the roof pool. The host always answered our questions right away. Enough bathroom-facilities for everyone.

The neighborhood was terrible and felt unsafe for us as a family . It seemed like there was a lot of people dealing and doing drugs in the old town of olhão, close to the apartment. Every night there were cars parked outside the apartment with young people smoking marihuana. There were loose dogs nearby tuning towards tourists. The apartment is next to a building area as well. Honestly, the location was terrible, especially for families with kids.

the location wasn’t ideal; 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. “Oceanview” - well, no. The lagoon was just visible in the distance if one leant out over the balcony. The view was actually of a stretch of derelict waste ground. Communication with the managing company wasn’t brilliant; they only used computer-generated messages & didn’t reply to specific queries. The representative at check-in spoke only Portuguese; we tried a range of European languages as well as English, but no response.

We suffered a lot from this : 1. We mentioned 1 day ago our estimation arriving time, and even mentioned 1h before when we were almost there, but the manager was delay with 20 minutes then we 7 people standing under the sun and suffering; 2. Then we check in the room, the room is still not cleaning and we need to wait another 1.5h for cleaning! Imagine we 7 people just drived 6h from Malaga and it's already 17:00pm. We planned to go out visiting Faro but finally cancel our plan because we need to wait for the cleaning until 18:30! 3. We were angry with the cleaning delay, so i challenged the manager why the cleaning is delay, she just said that COVID situation and tell me i need to calm down..... I need to calm down? You made your mistake => don't feel any guilty => i need to calm down => just accept your mistake => i can't even say word? 4. Then we found at the evening after dinner, that the cleaning team forgot to change the toilet paper for all 3 toilets (2 empty and 1 have just 10% paper). We finally have to use the kitchen paper (imagine girls used kitchen paper in toilet). And at the evening around 12:00, i send the manager a message to ask her bring us the toilet paper (i just wanted to leave her a message that she can bring us tomorrow because we are all sleeping), but tomorrow she even said : i disturbed her at the midnight because it was too late? Finally we were angry again, and she never brought the paper second day so we bought the paper ourselves! 5. Other small things for example the cleaning quality is bad, Wifi speed is slow, the decoration is new but really bad quality (one curtain is broken in the kitchen and we must cook under the strong sunshine), etc.
