My husband and I stayed at this property with our dog a few days last week. The house was clean and quaint, with a very nice large deck perfect for evening grilling. Private dock was easily accessible and just what we were looking for. The location on the lake was close to many of the lakeside restaurants. The Check in process was straightforward. We will definitely be back!

View of main channel, but benefit of being within a protected cove great for paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing. Nice outdoor space with lots of wildlife. House had everything we needed for a goodnights rest and meal prep. We utilized the covered deck with netted mosquito curtains every evening. A great little lake retreat for small groups.

The property was just as advertised. It's small but was perfect for the 3 adults in our party. It had everything we needed and the deck was wonderful for enjoying the awesome view. The area is very quiet except for the music from the large nightclub across the lake in the evenings. Once inside the cabin you no longer hear the noise. We had a great stay!

This cottage on top of the hill has one of the best views this part of the lake. In a cove but still has a good view of the main channel. Beautiful sunrises & cooler shade in the afternoon on the deck. The wildlife is abundant with the woods that surround this area. Saw deer every evening & some mornings right outside the door. We will definitely be back to enjoy it again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hill Top Cabin. Very clean & had everything we needed to cook, all bedding & basically all the essentials. It was a very clean quite cove. The only thing my family didn’t like was that there was no stairs down to the lake so we had to walk up a huge grassy hill.

House was clean and comfortable. Awesome view of the lake. Had fun swimming and floating off the dock. Enjoyed the wildlife. Very nice and relaxing getaway.

My family and I very much enjoyed out stay. The house was exactly as we expected. The kitchen had everything needed and that's appreciated as I love to cook! The view is amazing out the back windows and off the deck. The pictures of the listing don't do justice to it. There's a ton of nature and animal friends visiting the property, which my kids really liked. All in all a great trip and awesome location on the lake. The only thing that would make it even better would be a little fire pit out back for nightime stories and smores. Thanks for the great vacation!

We had a great time. We used the doc a ton for fishing. We brought our black lab and he had a blast swimming and running around outside. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, and grocery options within minutes. We did wish the doc had some lighting for night fishing but it ended up there were too many bugs after dark for us anyway. This was a great place to stay for the price. Thanks for sharing your home!

What a wonderful week we had! Just my husband and I and the dog! Beautiful sunrises and lots of wild life. Cabin was very clean and cozy - perfect for us! We will definitely be back!

Only complaint is grass could have been cut shorter and shower is tiny other then that stay was nice and caught many catfish off dock and seen plenty of deer,ducks and geese to make a hunter happy

This property is just about right for two people. I took my mom to Lake Ozark for a little trip, and it was nice to get out of the normal routine for a while.

We enjoyed our stay as a nice change of pace for being cooped up during the pandemic. The deck and view are awesome. If the weather is nice, that's the place to spend time. The house itself is tiny and tight, but functional and as described.

We had a fantastic stay! Great property with views and perfect to bring the fur babies. The house was cozy, clean and stocked with all nesscitites. The wildlife was amazing! Deer, eagles and ducks. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We recommend this place 100%!

The house was great for our purposes - very simple and access to a private dock. The dock was in need of some repairs, but was in overall good condition. The host was very friendly and helpful, but was sometimes difficult to get in contact with (i.e., check-in, etc.). The house is small, but it was big enough for two couples and two dogs for a weekend stay :)

Quiet location, and lots of wild life.

This cottage offers much! The decor and lay out is very well done. You will not find it lacking in the comforts of home. We had planned to have 3 adults and 2 children but the day before leaving there was a change. After staying 5 days, I think we might have found we were living on top of each other. For my husband and I it was a perfect fit. The AC works great! The back deck is everything you see and more. We spend most of our time here, perfectly shaded and very comfortable even in the heat of the day. We encountered a family of deer, a fox, and a box turtle that hung out by the deck daily. Birds as well entertained us on the deck and yard. The dock offers a great place to fish and enjoy being on the water. We had geese and one duck that visited regularly, several times a day. The duck joined us on the dock daily. We hung out there to alternate fishing and floating on rafts. This property is definitely hilltop and the walk to the dock is steep and is between 50- 70 yards. Not so bad going down, but going up prepare for the burn. With planning, you can avoid having to take numerous trips. This is a great place to stay! Personal Disclosure: We are in our early 60's and I am handicapped, please take that in account. This would not have been difficult if we were a wee bit younger and mobility for me was not an issue. The wildlife and comfort made it more than worthwhile.

My daughter and I had a great time. Grocery shop, restaurant, bars and a beach are very close. The view is spectacular. There was enough room for our puppers to roam the yard. Woke up every morning to deer, ducks and geese. The only let down we had was the grill did not work and the refrigerator took a long time to get drinks cold, but that is what ice is for, lol!

we had a good time, there were alot of spiders insides the cottage. The only other thing was the hike up the hill to get to and from the boat dock. Everything else was great.

Cathy was very friendly and easy to work with. I really enjoyed having a place in a prime location that also had a good size deck and back yard. The dock was well kept and perfect for my boat, I will definitely book this place again next year if it's available!

This is a great little cottage. Nice deck to relax and watch the boats secluded enough for privacy but close to great restaurants and shopping for my daughter. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks Steve

Would recommend for anyone wanting a beautiful view and to fish right off the dock.

Our Garmen couldn’t get the correct drop off but close enough for us to figure it out. The house was ready to go and we kicked back immediately enjoying the view of the lake from the deck. We fished 2 evenings from the dock catching several dozen sunfish and one catfish. The one note I made to myself was, do not put a metal roof on a house surrounded by oak trees, the acorns are very noisy bouncing off. I am a heavy sleeper so it did not wake me. We were treated every evening with a few deer in the yard that walked through to eat the acorns. This was our first time visiting the Lake of the Ozarks and we were very happy with our experiences.

Nice quiet retreat. 2nd time visitors. Plan to return next year. Weather did not cooperate. We found other things to do to entertain us. Recommend Shrimp Daddies for Cagun food and Bear Bottom resort for families with children.

Great 2 bedroom cabin with extra sofa couch in common area - nicely equipped kitchen, awesome sunrise opportunities, caught fish right off the dock, internet & TV setup worked perfect for Netflix, air conditioners in all rooms worked well, deck area and dock area are great places to eat meals - super quiet cove location. Would definitely stay here on any future visit to Lake of the Ozarks!!!
