Nature lovers playground Rock Island Lake Oconee
Per 8 + comodamente .... 3 camere da letto 3 e un mezzo lago casa sul lago. Situato all'estremità sud del lago Oconee. Questa bella casa è nascosta in una baia tranquilla a pochi minuti dalla diga di Wallace. La banchina ha un ascensore per le barche e una lampada da pesca mantenuta tutto l'anno. La proprietà ha un lungo vialetto di ghiaia che conduce a un bel cortile coperto di giardini fioriti e ROCCE ENORME !! Il seminterrato finito ha un tavolo da biliardo da 8 piedi appena infeltrito e un bersaglio per le freccette. Un sacco di parcheggio e spazio per rimorchi di barche e jet ski. Portico con sedia a dondolo con una splendida vista sul lago. La pesca è buona per tutto l'anno e l'acqua è ottima per nuotare durante i mesi più caldi.

This vacation had everything our large party of 9 needed. We had more than enough space and the facilities offered everything we needed to enjoy our vacation and for cooking meals. The location was ideal as it was a short drive to convenient stores and tucked back far from neighbors. The dock was wonderful and allowed for most of our trip to be spent in the water. We’ll absolutely return!

Good place for our group of 10. Every year we, our kids and grands take a lake vacation. Loved the clean lake, the rocks were unique and made group workouts challenging. We cook together and the kitchen was OK...however the dining room chairs need replaced...we swapped them for folding ones.

Great house and location! Would stay again. The only thing I would recommend is get new dinning room chairs. My grandchildren loved the huge rocks in the yard and saw plenty of Deer in the front yard!

This place is great quiet and close to the bate store. Climbing on the rocks was fun too. The host was very friendly and answered all my questions quickly.

House was not clean. Toenail clippings on carpet that had not been vacuumed, lotion on bathroom vanity, and cigarette ashes on porch. Oven had so much grease that a small fire ignited when we tried to use it.
The basement is not air conditioned. Uncomfortably warm for those staying down there. This was not mentioned anywhere in the property description.

We had lots of family visit us at this house, there was more than enough room for everyone. The house was spacious, clean & well stocked. The dock was awesome and accommodated our boat, water trampoline and numerous floats & other water toys....the lake was deep enough to play or just relax.... the teenagers said we needed a house like this, lol.... lost power the last night during a horrible storm but still would do it all over again.... thanks to our wonderful host and hope you will have us again.....

Enjoyable Weekend
Home was in a nice location. The scenery and landscape was beautiful. The house was comfortable and plenty room for 10 guests. My family enjoyed their stay. However, the inside of the house can stand an update and can use more appliances.

Five people were to stay in the house but it only had four bedrooms instead of the listed five. One guest was forced to look for a hotel room after we had arrived. It was extremely difficult to find accommodation in such of short notice.

Awesome fishing trip
We had a great stay and fishing was great.
I do think there should be some sort of lighting on the steps down to the lake as I took a spill on the first night because I couldn't see the steps.
The house is nice and the pool table was fun too.

Good experience
Nice location with a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed fishing from the spacious dock and made use of the firepit at night. We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Fisherman's dream!
We booked this house for a short fishing trip and we loved it! The house is located near some great fishing spots and has a large dock to tie your boat to. After fishing in the boat during the day we would fish off the dock at night under the dock light and we caught a lot of fish! The house has plenty of room and was clean. Great place to stay!

Great weekend!
We had a wonderful long weekend playing on the lake and enjoying the house. Plenty of room and so much to do! We have never been to Lake Oconee and really enjoyed ourselves! We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Fall Family Trip
Our family had an amazing time at the lake house. The house is charming. Very spacious with a wonderful cozy feeling. We were 5 adults and two children and there was plenty of room.
The rooms are big and lots of bathrooms throughout the house. The property is very large with beautiful trees and huge rocks. We enjoyed walking and exploring the property every morning with our grandchildren and sitting out at the lake in the afternoon. In the evening we enjoyed smores by the fire. The reservation process was easy and the owner available to reach. It was an overall memorable experience and we hope to be able to return again soon. Many thanks for making this home available for others to enjoy!

Cooler Weather for Thanksgiving
The home is dated, but generally clean and in good shape. The view, location, and surrounding boulders are great. We were looking for somewhere within driving distance of our home in Central Florida to experience fall weather over the Thanksgiving Weekend and the home worked great. Now we have visions of coming back in the summer.

Stay at nature's playground
I can't tell you how cool the boulders are at this house. It's a little Stone Mountain all around. The lake dock and yard are very nice to hang outdoors. The house was great with plenty of living space and bedrooms on different floors and an entertainment basement. The porch is nice too. Yes, we will come here again!

Wonderful vacation home
We loved this home and hope to rent again next year. We enjoyed kayaking. We did miss the cover on the dock. They must be planning to replace soon. There were no extra refrigerator or freezer in the garage as pictured. We had counted on this storage space bit were able to make it work. Everything thing else was absolutely wonderful.

Great Place, peaceful and relaxing
The Property was nice and clean. A little dated compared to other newer properties, but nothing that would distract from a lake house.
For those that have complained about no window treatments in the past, there are blinds on the Master Bedroom windows and doors. And the grill has recently been replaced with a large charcoal grill capable of 16 burgers and 15 bratwurst at one time.
The location in the lake cove is great, about 10ft deep at the end of the dock. Like your own personal swimming pool. The boat lift was perfect for the 20' boat that we brought along. Communication with Tony was great. Would consider staying again.

Tranquil Lake View
We had a great vacation. Eight of us from ages 6-77. The house was spacious with room to spread out. We spent the majority of the week either on the boat dock/in the lake or on the huge porch overlooking the lake. We did rent a pontoon boat for a day, and jet skis for 4 hours; this added to the water fun. The host was responsive before and during our stay. Thank you.

Great Vacation!
This is an excellent spot for boating and jet skiing. The location is great and the property has plenty of room. Dock is very convenient, just be careful large rock just 3 or 4 feet below surface just beyond dock, NO diving. There is plenty of room for storage of boat trailers and parking, but not really a way to turn one around easily in long wooded driveway. It is a beautiful and serene setting and was a very relaxing place to stay. Everyone loved the large porch and ring game became a week long competition.

Family Time
This was a nice property that was accurately advertised. For those looking at prior feedback from others, please note that the owners have installed blinds in all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The owners and their crew were very responsive and did their best to attend to our needs. Our family certainly appreciated it! We enjoyed our time at the lake and there was plenty of room for everybody. Thanks Tony and please thank your crew as well!

We loved the Boulder House
Our family loved the place both inside and out. Clean, cozy (loved the recliners!) and comfortable beds. Good cold A/C. Owner is great to communicate and respond and has also added blinds to needed windows so no worries. Me and my 3 year old had great fun swimming at the dock and exploring the humongous boulders around the property. Maybe not for your family if you have young toddlers, it has 2 sets of stairs inside, and around a dozen steps out the front door towards the lake. But it's a real fun place for kids and teens. Even has a boulder w/ 5 foot drop to jump off of into the lake! Enjoy!

Beautiful Property but....
This is a very nice house and the location is great. Very secluded on a small deep water cove. It is very sell landscaped. We found the house exactly as listed. As others have stated, there are no window coverings anywhere in the house. The house is secluded and maybe no one can see in, but still it is uncomfortable bathing and dressing in front of open windows. Forget trying to sleep in late when the sun shines in early in the morning. I really don't understand the reason for not having any window covering. The only other issue is the charcoal grill is falling apart. I was not at all sure the steaks I was grilling were going to make it to the table. All in all though, this is a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place for a family get together.
The home is very warm and inviting. The location is perfect. Access to the lake couldn't have been better. The only problem we had was the weather. It was raining and very cold, which made us appreciate the home that much more.
