Beautiful home! Very well appointed and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was especially nice, but since the weather was a bit cooler we didn’t use it too much. Parking was easy and we had a big van. Good space for lots of people. Quiet little town but easy to drive to all the sites in São Miguel.

The pillows were fairly terrible and flimsy. This sounds whiny, but for such a nice home and nice bedrooms, the pillows should be better. We were six people and had the pleasure of having the home to ourselves. However, pre-Covid the house was rented out as rooms, which meant you had to share common spaces and the bathrooms with other guests. We commented several times that this would have been awkward and not very nice. The upstairs bathrooms are far from the bedrooms if you are sharing with strangers and visiting them in the middle of the night! Before you book, check to see that you have the entire place to yourselves! I hope they keep it private.

Everything was perfect. Hosts are really nice and helpful. The place was clean and it has everything you need. We've been there as group of 10 friends and we spent awesome time here. The place is perfect for the groups. Localisation is great. There're nice views from the windows. There's a hair dryer and even a hair straighten.

This place is very clean, and the kitchen is newly remodeled. It provided a lot of space for my friend and I to cook a few meals. There is a market right next door where you can pick up groceries to cook with. This was very convenient because the location of the house is slightly far from restaurants. The staff is extremely nice and helpful! We got lost finding the place (story of our whole trip, not this location's fault!). There is a washer and dryer provided at no extra cost. If I wasn't able to do laundry here, I would have ran out of fresh clothes for my long vacation.

There was an odd smell in our room. Not too terrible, maybe a cleaning solution they used. But it was very strong. Strong enough that all my clothes smelled like it when we left to go to our next location. The location was a little more remote than I expected. But luckily the island is small enough that it doesn't take long to get anywhere by car.

The hosts were very nice, the breakfast was good, and everything was very clean an peaceful. There's a bus close-by for people walking!

It was amazing, but I think a set of cards, or some games in the living room would have been the cherry on the top!
