parking: When we come back to the house if someone park in front the house you have to find another slot to park. Anyway walking distance 1-2 mins is ok.

Such an easy check in with the key box. The location is fantastic with street parking and the train station behind the property, making it easy to get to Portsmouth harbour, city centre or London in a hour if needed! Comfortable beds, clean house and fabulous kitchen making it possible to cook your own food if you didn’t want to eat out. Will be staying again!

it was accessible, everything we need is there, house is clean, and very spacious, feels like home.

we had a lovely stay, I can’t blame the heater is not enough to keep us warm because it’s really freezing outside, we thought it will also snow that day.

Location was perfect for visiting our daughter only a few streets away. We could walk everywhere which negated the need to find parking elsewhere.

Wonderful stay.Everything needed for a home from home whilst in Portsmouth. Great location for railway station and amenities.

The property was spotless and had everything we needed. There were some nice extra touches such as providing milk in the fridge, tea bags and even packs of biscuits in the cookie jar. Whilst we hadn't planned to use the train the property was so close to the station that we caught the train to Portsmouth harbour for the sites rather than driving which meant no need to worry about parking.

Everything was good but if I had to be picky I would say the curtains were too light in the back bedroom as the sun came straight through so take eye masks with you if the light wakes you.

Everything is perfect, and the amount of items that they have in case you forgot yours, like power adapters, they had them. They even offered to come by and swap one out. They are wonderful.

Good size bedrooms, very detailed instructions for everything, plenty of room for the five of us and although it's on road parking we didn't struggle to get a place. Warm and cosy. Good communication

I enjoyed the house because it was clean, lovely decorated and had everything you needed. Loved all the little extras that were supplied . Parking is good was able to park very near the property and was free. Would definitely stay here again 😁 Big 👍all round

There was nothing i didn't like

The house was lovely.They provided everything you could need for a stress free break.The train station is only a few minutes walk so you can catch a train into the main town and attractions.The train and return ticket was under £10 for a family of 4.very happy and will definitely use little connaught house again if staying in portsmouth again in the future.

I had the best night’s sleep! Even though the train station is directly behind the property!

The stairs were too steep for my 85 year old mum to climb.

The house has everything you need for your stay. Very convenient distance to Fratton Station, no need to have a car to get around. The main street with pubs, shops and take-aways is in close walking distance.

Location had a very regular train service from the local train station which was less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and tidy and provided a hospitable welcome. There were extra provisions such as milk, a bottle of water and some condiments, (with an added bonus being a bottle of prosecco in the fridge!) Parking permits were provided as there is only street parking. Any queries we had were quickly responded to. Thank you!

There was small mix up on arrival when we tried to locate the key from the key box however this was quickly resolved in a very considerate and helpful way! Thank you!

Attention to detail, there were thoughtful extras included that made the house homey, including basic foodstuffs and emergency bathroom supplies; (Even a bottle of milk and a bottle of bubbly in the fridge!) There is an excellent fish and chip shop locally too. Parking was surprisingly easy to find in the street and, despite backing onto the railway line, it was relatively peaceful. We could sleep with the window open. There is a little garden you can sit out in.

There is plenty of space for bigger double beds in the bedrooms, which would be a benefit greater than the extra wardrobe / storage space.

They had thought of everything and more!

Neighbours had a baby that cried a fair bit and you could hear it but that was absolutely out of the hosts control! The hosts are brilliant

It's the central of everything: close to beach, supermarkets, shopping area and next to train station. The house is very neat and lovely; bedrooms are spacious. My kids love it.

A return trip, after staying last year, to spend time in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Plenty of room in the property, so we all had our own beds. We were provided with treats, biscuits, and prosecco. Easy access for us non-drivers, as Fratton Station was around the corner.

Could have done with a bigger drainer, for washing up

The back yard was handy - especially during the sunny moments. It was also nice to find a few helpful provisions in the kitchen.

A delightful house - real home from home. Well- equipped kitchen/diner and a separate living room. Spacious bedrooms with sitting areas, quiet even though backing onto a busy train station . A welcome gift - a bottle of Prosecco, thank you! A paved yard at the rear with table and chairs - quite a sun trap. Very convenient for the train station , as we came to Portsmouth by train.

A steep staircase and the second bathroom was really a downstairs toilet and sink - adequate but no bath or shower.
