I enjoyed supper as the waittres was extremely helpful and managed to arrnage to get my order prepared even though it was only on the menu after 19h00 in the evening.

I really wanted to rest in the room and the hammer drill that was been used somewhere in the hotel really did not allow for any rest or quiet.

the professionality of the reception was exceptional!

Great location for the airport, the free transfers are a big bonus too. They even hung around for us until almost 3am when our flights were cancelled / delayed. Rooms are huge, well kept and comfortable. The staff were friendly and very efficient.

Close to Julius Nyerere International Airport. A great place to stay if you just need a place to rest before an early flight the next morning. Hot shower, comfortable bed. A mini mart with snacks 2-mins walk away. Very friendly and helpful staff. Free airport pickup and drop-off.

Smoking was allowed in the landing area on certain floors.

it offers free airport pick up which we requested when booking and reconfirmed prior to our flight. Driver did not turn up and we had to make two calls before he was dispatched. Bar facilities are effectively outside the hotel in an adjacent building. Room was set up for one person although we booked for two people. ( 1 towel, 1 mug etc). Confusion when we checked out as they tried to get us to pay again even though we had already paid Booking.com.

Onlu plus points are, the Hotel is near to airport and hotel pick and drop free facility.

Rooms are very smelly with suffocation. Need proper ventilation. Very bad towel in the bath.

Great location for an overnight stop close to the airport, comfortable rooms, there is a free shuttle to and from the airport which seems to be available all night at hourly intervals.

There is a lot of road noise from the main road outside the hotel which is busy all night. The restaurant menu is limited and there is no seperate bar area to sit and have a drink in comfort.

This is a great location for the airport and the staff is very good about understanding the late airport hours at DAR. In general, their English is very good. The breakfast buffet is more substantial than many, especially if you desire vegetarian Indian and want something besides carbs. As is typical in this part of the world, do not be surprised/disappointed by the lack of pork products, especially bacon and pork sausage.

Some menu items in the restaurant seem to be seasonal, but are not marked that way. The manager went out of his way to acquire aubergine after finding out that I had been asking for it, only to have the waiter insist that they did NOT have any on the day it was promised. The manager confirmed later that they had some in stock that day.

Staff was very friendly and professional.

Room was a little dated, but for the price and convenience to the airport, it was completely acceptable.

The Hotel taxis are very unreliable and they charge exactly 10 times what makes ordinary drivers very happy. The Hotel Staff tried to charge me again for the room despite it being very clear that I actually paid when reserving it (not just punching in credit card details)

There were issues in the Blue Sapphire, so hotel re-booked me to Sapphire hotel, bit further from the airport in the downtown. Hotel contacted me about the issues in advance and proposed new location with free shuttle from and to the airport. All went smooth and easy. Sapphire hotel is similar in amenities and in big room size. Nice rooftop restaurant.

Hotel's location was really convenient, close to the International Terminal. Good hot water for an early morning bath. Had a comfortable stay as I was there only for a night. In transit.

Well, the free pickup from airport and drop was not a great experience. Firstly, we had to wait and call Hotel 3-4 times to get hold of the driver who was not there but the Hotel always stated he was there somewhere. No coordination with the driver and staff. Worst was our drop from Hotel in the morning. Despite confirming the time of departure, to our surprise Hotel receptionist (Nancy), sent the car off to the airport for another drop. We could see the car going out of the gate with someone. On insisting her to call the driver back as he just left, she reluctantly called and kept saying that the driver is taking a U turn and will be in the hotel in 2 mints. Surprisingly, the driver went all the way to the airport dropped that client and came back after about 30 mints. We had an international flight to catch and on insisting to make us speak to their Manager/Owner, she refused to give anyone's contact no. WE WERE HELPLESS. I think the Hotel management should put up someone's contact number at the reception so the Hotel staff cannot take clients for a ride. Rest everything was fine with the hotel.
