A wonderful, clean, comfortable rental. In the country, it did require a drive to any local activity but was not too far from any attractions. The setting and view from the porch made up for any required drive. A very nice property.

This house was a perfect place to stay - super cute and comfortable, and incredibly convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. We couldn't get enough of the beautiful view out to the horses!

Simple little cottage with iconic Bluegrass view of rolling pastures with horses. Very clean and supplied with all needs. Two bedrooms, each with own shower bath attached, separated by living area. We enjoyed sitting on the chairs in front yard while watching the horses. We will return.

We absolutely loved this rental. It was an adorable house, very clean, comfortable and well stocked so we could really make ourselves at home. The view at sunrise is beautiful! The proximity to the KY Horse Park was great. It was an easy drive even during those early mornings and late nights. The town of Midway is another must visit. It is a quaint small town with lots of restaurants to choose from. We also visited Frankfort, Lexington, Georgetown and Versailles, which are all very close. Look forward to staying here again.

Very nice house that is extra clean! All the things you need for a comfortable stay. Within 15 minutes of Lexington and the Horse Park. There is a railroad in the backyard but we never heard a train.

Such a lovely stay in beautiful Lexington, KY which was enhanced by our choosing of this house that bordered a beautiful farm. The layout of the house was perfect for our stay - great open spaces and separate bedrooms and baths. Rod and Kim are such wonderful hosts. I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone traveling to Lexington, KY.

This was our second time to stay here, so obviously we like it. Our only negative is that it's pretty pricey, for one couple. The house is set up well for two couples, which would make it far more affordable.

Comfortable and immaculately clean. Lovely linens and fluffy bath towels. Loved the huge walk in closets in each bedroom with plenty of shelves and room for hanging clothes and stashing luggage. Neighbors were quiet and friendly, relaxing view of horses grazing peacefully in the pasture. Only downside was the 4 front steps, a little difficult for my husband who has mobility issues, but would not be a problem under normal circumstances. Kim responded quickly to questions, and her brother Rodney stopped by to check if we needed anything. Very pleasant stay.

My husband and our triplet grandchildren;, aged 14, stayed in this newly renovated house. The accommodations were top-notch. Everything we needed in the kitchen was provided, even a large basket of k-cups for our morning coffee. The beds were very comfortable and had the most luxurious sheets I have ever slept on. We walked up to the fence across the lane to interact with the horses several times. The only problem we encountered was finding the property. It was on a lane, not on the main road, and there was no house number on the property. We didn't see a house # on the row of mailboxes on the main road either. Also, my GPS took us to a different location on the road listed as the address. Luckily, my grandson's GPS found the property for us. Now that we know how to find it, we plan to book another date to stay there. There are so many activities in that area.

The house was better than we imagined. It was perfect for two couples. We had a great time! Only thing missing was a blender! 😁

My mom and I enjoyed our stay at this great find of a house. Close enough to get in and out of Lexington proper and Keeneland while also far enough to enjoy the countryside. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this house. What a beautiful view from the front of the property which we enjoyed on the porch swing. This was very much a "home away from home" for our stay as our daughter was competing at Pony Finals at the Kentucky Horse Park. Very conveniently located and much to do in the area. You can be in Georgetown or downtown Lexington in 15 min. Kim answered any questions promptly. The house was clean, cozy and had all the amenities we needed. We did hear the train that runs behind the house a few times (we were there for 2 weeks) but it was always very short and never bothered us. We will for sure rent this property again whenever we are back in Lexington. I highly recommend staying here if in the Lexington area.

This cottage was the perfect fit to our Kentucky vacation! Loved having the view of horses out the front door each morning! The place was spacious and clean. Nearby to everything we wanted to do! Just a wonderful stay!!

The house was lovely, and there was a lvoely view across the street of a field with horses. The bedrooms were large, there was more than ample closet space. The living room was super comfortable to relax in. The washer and dryer wass a nice addition. We would definitely stay here again..

The home was very clean and had all the amenities that we could want Our GPS took us to the wrong location but the hosts quickly responded to our cry’s for help and called us. Stayed on the phone with us until we were directly in front of the home. That was extremely helpful as we most likely would not have found on our own.

The unit was very clean, plenty spacious for the two of us (would easily accommodate another couple), had all the kitchen and laundry basics. We walked our dogs along the RR tracks in the back. Easy access to our event at Masterson Station Park.

Better the second time!!!!! The Springwood Cottage continues to provide an excellent escape for the ultimate in relaxation. Even in Winter the Bluegrass farms seen from the main living area are a sight to behold. The country ham from the block away J & N Grocery is not to be missed. A clean and comfortable cottage coupled with great hosts made our second stay here a very relaxing one.

We sought a home in a peaceful setting where relaxation was key and Springwood Cottage delivered. It was quiet, clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owners were extremely accommodating which made the stay absolutely worry free. Minutes from city life and yet in the middle of beautiful horse farms. Looking forward to our return in the near future.

Small but perfect for what we needed. The home is totally renovated with all new amenities. The host was very responsive and made checking in and out easy. (The cleaning fee was a little high but worth it since we didn't have to do anything (like take out trash, gather towels, etc. ) before we left. The house is situated among other family member houses, but the view from the front of the house is beautiful -- horses grazing in a pasture. For us, the location was convenient for our visit. Lovely area and wonderful visit. .

The house was perfect for a weekend with friends. We were close to everything - and had horses basically in the front yard.

This house is really really nice. Love the interior design; it's all newly redone, clean, uncluttered. Airy. Bedding is good quality and smells good (very subtle scent, not overpowering), bathrooms are nice, high quality towels; kitchen set-up is good. We cooked for ourselves (and our kids) as well. This would be a great place to stay while visiting in the Lexington/Keeneland/Frankfort area. We shopped in Midway and Georgetown (both super cute), and visited distilleries. The house is easy to get to and the ride in is so scenic. Would love to stay here again while visiting our kids.

The view is amazing. The host is so accommodating. The house itself is adorable, cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location is a dream come true. I would love to stay again!
