Die Lage war für uns optimal, weil wir am Folgezag ab Schlüttsiel mit einer Fähre gefahren sind.

Die Lage direkt am Ableger der Fähren auf die Haaligen war wirklich mega. Man sieht vom Frühstückstisch aus die Häuser auf den Haaligen. Einfach nur schön ☀️

Das Hotel war sauber. Die Zimmer auch. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist super da Husum oder Dagebüll schnell zu erreichen sind, und man generell super überall hinkommt. Auch schön ist das vor einem das Meer liegt und man die Halligen sehen kann. Und hinter einem hat man Schafe und ein schönes Vorgelschutzgebiet , wirklich traumhaft. Wir konnten unsere Hundedame mitnehmen, ihr hat es auch gefallen.

Leider hat man in der früh ab ca 6:30 schon viel Straßenlärm,da die einzige Straße wo durch dieses Gebiet durchführt, eben direkt am Hotel liegt.Ob dies wegfällt wenn die Schüttarbeiten vorbei sind, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Für unseren Hund 15€ pro Tag zu berechnen ist schon sehr teuer meiner Meinung nach.

Very nice view from the breakfast area!

The place is beautifully situated between the Speicherbecken and the ocean. The interior was designed with care and love for detail. The beds are amazing - so comfortable!!! And the food in the restaurant is superb, as is the breakfast with a great variety. The staff is so friendly and welcoming- you feel like you are at home immediately.

These are more suggestions than complaints: - A towel rack in the bathroom instead of just hooks would be lovely - Unfortunately due to staff shortage they had to close the restaurant for three days a week now. We hope that they will be able to reopen soon on all days so that more people can enjoy the good food and the view during afternoon coffee and cake. But for the time being it would be great if they created a little area in the hotel where hotel guest could make themselves some coffee and tea. - More programms on TV would be great. - And finally: The internet could use a 21rst century upgrade - or at least a steady connection. A final hint: The rooms are located overlooking the parking lot (very peaceful at night) and the Speicherbecken or the Deich. To see the ocean enjoy the spectacular view from the breakfast room - or just strap on your shoes and take the few steps it takes to be right at the ocean itself.

Convenient location. Great restaurant in terms of variaty of food and creativity. Tasty green tea and beautiful terrace.

Service at the restaurant was dissapointing (maybe, for this price you shall not expect much). We tried to book a table with a view in advance, but the table was..next to the toilet door. The team was rejecting to make a change, as all the other ones were "booked" too and they do not provide you with a table-with-a-view automatically (fair enough. however, there were other nice tables clearly for the same amount of people). All the times I was wondering why my booking was anyhow different from the other people ones, and why they can have a sea view and I can not- no clue. Hopefully, this is not related to any discrimination reasons. Moreover, even to a " no-view, table for two" (not next to the toilet) the stuff was rejecting to make a change until the very end. "The end" were my tears and quite a spoiled evening. The only plus : the waiter was really trying to be helpful and nice, all the time. With rooms: it was noisy in the room (air condition somewhere ? restaurant? ). We did not find the source of the noise. Be aware: the bathtub is only in ONE of all the possible rooms of the hotel. Surprise :) Also if your room is located on the ground floor, I sincerely do suggest you to avoid it, otherwise you will deal with a "stunning" view on the parking lot and a lot of people going there and back. To sum up: okay for one night, but totally not for more .
