Wife and I had a great time with two other couples who also have kids at Auburn. We invited the kids down on Friday and again on Sunday after the game it was fantastic

It’s a very quiet place to stay, great access to water. The owner was responsive. On the negative side, there were substantial issues with roaches, the floor was very dirty, under the beds must not have been cleaned in ages. If cleaned properly, I’d rate it 4 out of 5 (due to older furnishings and bedding).

The location was great, right off the water. Unfortunately the house was very dirty. Your feet were black if you walked on the floors. We found bugs both dead & alive. We had to clean the kitchen, wash anything we used in the kitchen. House had a bad odor that they tried to cover up plug-ins. I hope the owners get a new housekeeper. We’ve never had a bad experience with VRBO, until this visit. 😒

The location was amazing. This condo needs repairs which I can deal with but the place was dirty. Dust balls everywhere, hair clips, miscellaneous items, etc under beds, dirty dishes in cabinets, green egg was so dirty we couldn’t use it. Locksmith had to come out because the door lock didn’t work upon arrival. Outside trashcan was not taken to the road and had a horrendous smell right by the front door with flies everywhere. Saw lots of roaches in the bed, on the walls etc. Pest control did come out and it helped some but no one called (only emailed) to notify they were coming. We were not there and had valuables out. Great price but the place wasn’t clean.

We love staying here. It is convenient to the marina and it has a dock for a boat and you can bring your animal, which we love!

Positives: location, beds are comfy, view is beautiful
Negatives: floors were not clean, beer left in freezer which had exploded leaving broken glass, no dishwasher detergent, “clean” towels were finally found still damp in dryer, holes & stains on master comforter & several of the bathroom linens, porch furniture was filthy, grass needs cut badly, kitchen cup found outside by lawn chair, porch railing needs repaired, pots & pans need replacing, moldy shower liner, broken blinds in bunk room, old dog poop in yard…I think that about covers it.
Summary, great location, fair price, will not rent again.

The condo itself is in a nice location, had everything we needed, and was comfortable. The small backyard needed a trim but everything else was perfect!

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful location.
However we couldn’t get the tv to start and it was very frustrating to sort out the problem. But was eventually fixed.
The home was beautiful and clean but could do with some updates more lighting as it was quite dark to read especially at night.
The bathroom rail by the sink needs fixing in the front bedroom over looking the lake.
Overall it was a very pleasant condo and we found it very relaxing and would recommend it

I usually communicate with the owner/manager more, but hikes a section of the Appalachian trail and was off grid until the day we arrived. Some of our family didn’t make it due to early pregnant sickness and a car accident. We arrived at night and would have preferred a few more details for the group as to finding the unit in the dark. They would have been sufficient in daylight. Other than that, everything was perfect. We went to the AU game and then relaxed at unit eleven. It was just delightful. So content. From Dallas with home being AL. Would definitely stay again. Amenities were spot on. Thank you for such a relaxing stay. Joy

Great stay for a Arkansas/Auburn game, close to field. This was our yearly guys football weekend for my family. Like the deck and dock, we sat on dock each night and watched the sun set. Bedrooms, kitchen and baths all good. We will use this unit again.

Negatives:
Master bedroom does not have access to closet. We were there for a wedding so needed to hangout our nice clothes.
Living room and dining room could use more lighting
We had to replace batteries in DirectTV remote
There were a few large roaches, both dead and alive. Our puppy kept finding the dead ones and trying to eat them. We chased down the live one we saw and killed it.
Overall, we would definitely rent again.

The stay was wonderful. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch and starring at the lake. The villa was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. A few issues were at hand according the the listing. There was not a second grill. The green egg was available but was not clean. The fireplace was a plus but we did not use it (there were ashes underneath the wood). The porch had lots of spider webs we had to clean. The cleaning fee charged to us after we leave should be put to use by the person who is managing the property for the owner.
All in all, we would return, if allowed, to rent the property on the future. It felt like a “home away from home”.

Property needs a LOT of attention. (Inside and Out) Confusion on Check In time. Web Site says one time. Info sent to us says another time. Property was not ready until 5:30. Price was high based on condition of the property.

Great place with all that you need for the lake
We had a boat but we had the most fun just hanging at the dock and swimming. Such an easy place and my kids are hooked!! We loved it!

Villa on the Lake
While renting the property was easy and price was very reasonable, some attention needs to be given to some areas. The rockers on the porch need to be replaced. One totally collapsed with my husband. Another is very loose. Im sure being outside in the weather causes this. Also, be very careful with the spindles on the porch if you have children or dogs. There are some loose ones. The swim area is magnificent! It is amazing for small children as well as the furbabies. Overall our stay was good.

The property offered a great weekend on Lake Martin. The Townhouse had plenty of space and easy access to the water and private dock.

Amazing place to stay!
We loved our stay. We got married at the Church of the Living Waters in Stillwater’s. It was beautiful. The villa was clean, well stocked, and in the absolute best location. The kids enjoyed playing at the shore, and we rented a boat from the local marina. Can’t wait
to come back soon!

Fun on Lake Martin
What a great place to vacation. We are Freedom Boat Club members and had a pontoon boat while we were here. Great location. Neighbor's guests were very friendly - I talked with them daily. Would love to go back during summer.

Will not stay again
This stay was NOT at all what we had hoped it would be. The communication was horrible from the time I rented the place. It had rat droppings in the bedroom around the nightstand…The grill was in horrible condition. We had to run and pickup a clearer. I even sent a message of this and never got a response from the owner.
The best part was the view. It was incredible. But that does not makeup for the other issues.

Wonderful place to stay.
This place was a wonderful place to stay for a family. The place was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. It has a beautiful back porch on the water with rocking chairs to relax in. The water was down during our stay so we couldn't dock our boat but that is the only negative thing I can say. We will certainly be staying here again in the future.

I’ve really enjoyed the breathtaking experience at Stillwater’s! This place was directly on the lake and was more beautiful than the pictures! If you need a getaway, I would HIGHLY recommend this property. It’s a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! I had so much peace and relaxation. I cooked for my family who lives locally and it was so spacious— upstairs and downstairs. I would rate this property 5/5 stars!!! I would love to rent again in the future!!!

Good surprise and bad surprise
The townhouse was stocked with kitchen pots/pans and even food in cupboards. That was a great surprise! Beautiful view of the lake as well. Comfortable seating and in a quiet private neighborhood, also great surprise!
But there are roaches, very large flying roaches and an exterminator is needed. Our son in law had a horrible early morning surprise when one crawled into his ear! Bad surprise.

Great dog friendly home with amazing view!
We really enjoyed our stay here! The deck and dock were amazing for watching the sunset. The water was clear and shallow by the dock which was perfect for our 4 year old to play and the dogs loved it too! We were also happy that the owners had dog crates on the deck. We thought about bringing our own but didn't have the space, so this allowed us to all leave the property together and not worry about the dogs. Overall the home was clean and the beds were comfortable. I was a little worried about response from the host after not receiving a response in a few days from a message I sent via the vrbo app (they did respond to that eventually), however, when texted about something while we were there they responded within minutes. So if you book and have a question I'd just say use the phone numbers instead of the app :)

Wonderful Weekend
We stayed at this amazing villa this past weekend and loved it. Pros: amazing view, AC works great, refrigerator/freeze get and stay cold, hot water works great, washer/dryer are super nice, back porch is phenomenal, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and living room, steps going into the water, secure place to keep boat trailer. Overall, we LOVED this place and will absolutely stay again. The only thing negative I have to say is we did see quite a few (not an infestation by any means) dead and alive roaches inside, but the property owner is clearly dealing with them and it’s working.
