Open plan kitchen ,dining and lounge area works really well and the bedrooms are spacious. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean . Kitchen has pretty much all you need but is a little tight so might have to just let 1 person do the cooking . The wrap around verandah is great and the view is even better and with just a quick walk across a pretty quiet street you’re at the beach or you can take a stroll down a great walking trail. As always Dee and Sharyn from Accomodation on Yorkes were great. I would and have recommended this stay to both friends and family .

A week appointed kitchen and good fish cleaning station out back caters to the reasons for visiting Pt Turton. One concern is a stale smell in the bunk bedroom, signalling possible mold in the carpet. Nonetheless a wonderful place to stay on Yorkes.

Unfortunately the hot water wasn’t working on our last day which was the only hot day that week. It could have been much worse if it were during cooler/winter weather.

It is an older style house loaded with character. We spent a very comfortable three nights there and would gladly have stayed longer. The house is slightly elevated with beautiful views across Hardwick Bay. Cross the very quiet road and you are on the esplanade that takes you along the foreshore. We woke to enjoy stunning sunrises and spent time sitting on the wrap around veranda just relaxing and enjoying the house. We found it an easy walk to the jetty and the tavern. Great place to base yourself to explore the surrounding towns, beautiful beaches and the not to be missed Innes National Park.

Great location good views good parking, property is a bit dated and bedrooms would be warm in summer. Overall would stay there again.

The house was fantastic. Beautiful and quiet location. Very comfortable bed and living area. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of pots and pans etc. Will book again. Plenty of room to park the boat out the back or front.

DVDs for the kids to watch, books to read, a good sized verandah/balcony with picturesque views of the beach. Convenient location and walking distance to the general store. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good too. We loved it so much we rebooked for next NYE.

Perfect location and great shack that would suit all travelers.

A lot of dishes needed to be cleaned before using. Bbq fat collection tray was full and when my partner moved the bbq it all came out onto his expensive shorts which are now ruined. Wardrobes had clothes in there and one of them was a disturbing pair of work coveralls with blood or red paint all over them, yuk. Washing machine not very clean. Back curtains need fixing as very hard sliding open and shut, we were scared we would break them 2 flyscreens were off or part open, not sure if someone had tried to get in windows. Great location and great balcony and everything we needed. Could I suggest a change of colour to dining room chairs, was a bit scared to eat at the table in case we stained the chairs

The Hot water temperature was just about room temperature, not even lukewarm. and it got worse with a single person taking shower. No heating provisions in the bedrooms. Owner should consider fixing the front door lock which is getting jammed sometimes.
