Our host was quite kind.

BED BUGS! Yikes, I was eating alive by bed bugs at this place with over 300 bites all over my body including my face. In many ways, it ruined my trip. My son also had bed bug bites in a different room. While I received and appreciated a full refund, I see in the reviews that other people complained of biting bugs, yet guests we're allowed to stay without resolving the problem. It's a big problem. I would have happily paid twice or three times the price and not had bed bug bites. The place needs to be shut down until the situation is resolved.

Ideal location, close enough to central Chamonix to walk in, but far enough away to be peaceful. Also close to bus stop that goes to all ski areas, or 3 minute drive to Flegere and 8 minute drive to Grand Montets. Also, great little balcony to view mountains and cross-country skiers. The wonderful lady who owns the property is very friendly and helpful. Free and strong wifi.

The host Michelle was the warmest and friendliest lady I’ve ever met! The room and surroundings was even better than the photos! It had such a cosy atmosphere! The breakfast is a must try and it was a good start to my day!

The location can be a little difficult to reach if you don’t have your own car and are travelling with a lot of baggage. BUT it’s in a superb environment and totally worth the journey.

A bit remote for walking to Chamonix centre at night Walls are thin ( which is not a problem with respectful guests)

Location was good and accomodation was adequate for us. Communication with accomodation was excellent. Only downside was breakfast was extra, and was quite expensive for what was on offer and what you got.

We spent 4 great days. The place is very authentic surrounded by a quiet wood path.The double bed room was cosy with typical chalet architecture. The place is 15 min walk from Chamonix centre and 20 min walk from the ski lift. Our highlight was Michele the host - she is lovely and passionate about her place and the region. Would highly recommend her place

We loved it. Nothing can beat the view, from the balcony you can see the mountain range, Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi very clearly in the morning and when the sun is setting, the peaks are burning as the light touches the mountains. Very quiet place and very close to the Chamonix city center. The house is beautifully decorated with flowers and it has a garden. The owner is very kind and friendly. We had one time breakfast and the bread tasted very buttery, I could not tell what it was, was it the bread, the butter, the fresh cheese or the jam? But I guess the buttery taste must have come from the combination of all :-) :-) Right next to the place, there is a very nice restaurant, La Montagne, they opened until late, around 11 pm. We will definitely come back again, with the hope for sunny weather.
