Casa 44 is the most exquisite house on a typically Spanish, quiet street in the old town, which has been beautifully and creatively decorated by its owners. The breakfasts were off-the-scale delicious (all very locally sourced and lovingly prepared fresh every morning) and A&B were so friendly and chatty, I felt as though I were family. They had great insider tips about places to visit, where to eat etc too. Every morning, I went up to the terrace to watch the sunrise over the mountains, and they brought me up a cup of tea! I had a very comfy bed, a spacious lounge area with high ceilings and amazing art, super fast wifi, luxury toiletries, snuggly towels... the list goes on. The place even smells delicious and every evening when I came in, there were candles lit and there was gentle guitar music playing. I didn't want to leave!!

Literally nothing! Other than I didn't live there!!

Our stay was idyllic. Contact with Andrew and Brennan from the moment we booked our room was excellent and we very much appreciated the help with booking restaurants and suggesting good car hire companies. Casa 44 is the best B&B that I have ever had the privilege of staying in and every detail was well thought out. We loved the high quality toiletries provided, and the honesty bar was a wonderful touch. The ambience when coming back into the property after we had been out was so relaxing and we loved the roof top terrace with its magnificent view. We appreciated Brennan organising a massage for my wife at the Sky Blue House in the town, a lovely touch and also arranging a visit to the Olive Grove and Factory visit. We would not hesitate to recommend staying at Casa 44 and have already done so to some friends and family, We would hope to return to Casa 44 in the near future. On a final note, the breakfasts were superb, including the best Eggs Benedict I have ever tasted. A huge well done to Andrew and Brennan.

As well as a lovely bedroom, bathroom and terrace, the owners Andrew and Brennan made us feel so welcomed. They really were amazing hosts. Exceptionally clean: The breakfast spread was excellent each morning.

DeEverything!! Andrew & Brennan are such beautiful people and superb hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. They have thought of every little detail about someone's dream holiday. The ambience created with soft music drifting throughout the rooms and the wonderful aroma in each room, immediately relaxes you. The decor is authentic Spanish, mixed with modern luxury. The view from the terrace is undescribable, so you have to experience that for yourself to appreciate it. The breakfast feast is a pleasure on the senses. Locally sourced, fruits, meats, cheeses, avocados and tomatoes, combined with homemade gazpacho and lemonade mean you never want it to end. The eggs benedict were divine and even the rustic bread and homemade jam were 1st class. The well stocked kitchen and honesty bar is everything you never new you needed. It's just another way in which Andrew&Brennan have assured that your experience will be unforgettable. You genuinely feel completely spoilt from the minute you arrive as as a stranger and leave as a friend. The location is excellent, within easy reach of superb restaurants (Sam Sam is a must so don't forget to book), pastelerrias, bars, shops and the bus station. I took a bus ride to Malaga for just.2.40€ and the City is beautiful. A mixture of many different architectural influences, amazing gardens, high end shops and of course the beach. Roof top bars enable you to enjoy a drink while taking in the views of this glorious City. Finally I have to mention Blue Skye House and Lana. She is another beautiful soul and the unique sensory massage she has created was beyond amazing. I'll keep The Key with me always. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Andrew & Brennan for an indulgent experience that I will never forget and hope to experience regularly.

the house is absolutely stunning. Andrew and Brennan have done an amazing job. fabulous bedrooms. fantastic terrace with breath taking views. ideally located in a lovely town. everything is excellent from the moment you turn up to the day you leave. Breakfast was to die for. Absolutely loads, all locally sourced within a 2 mile radius. Andrew and Brennan are the most perfect hosts you could ever wish for. Cheers guys.

We loved our stay here and will always look at back those two days as special. Many thanks to the hosts - Andrew and Brennan - who are just so pleasant and balanced people (and prepares amazing breakfasts!). We also thoroughly enjoyed the Full Body Massage delivered by one of their friends, Lana. Lastly, the town of Alhaurín el Grande is really nice and authentic; it doesn’t feel "touristy" at all. Everything was in top; couldn't have been better!

Andrew and Brennan went out of their way to make us welcome. We could not have asked for anything better. We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary while we were there and they really helped to make it special. Absolutely fabulous

The moment we walked into casa44 Andrew and Brennan made us feel welcome.Nothing was any trouble to them and they went above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The house was spotlessly clean. Andrew and Brennan pre booked 2 lovely restaurants and they gave us recommendations for places to visit. They made out a road map for a beautiful drive to Antequera . I would highly recommend Casa 44 to anyone looking to experience village life and hospitality. This is truly a hidden gem . Breakfast was amazing and lots of local fresh produce used.

Having to leave.Would love to have stayed longer to explore more of the restaurants. There is so much to see and do in the area.

We couldn’t say enough about this place. The care, the attention to details, the space the location, the amount of pillows! I love pillows specially when they were chosen for different firmness! The bed! I could go on and on. But I have to leave some room for the hosts....oh yeah I forgot....the breakfast OY VEY! What a spread and delicious! Ok back to the hosts. Brennan and Andrew could not be kinder, more generous and funny, easygoing. We would find ourselves hoping when we returned in the evening that they were still up to have a chat and have a nightcap. But they were also very discreet. And we knew we would see them for breakfast. The whole package is A+. We’re looking forward to returning. Don’t miss a dinner at Santiago’s Kitchen. Thanks guys for a wonderful time even if we had biblical thunderstorms lightning and rain. PS I have been visiting family in Alhaurín for 40 years, and this was our best experience.

From the moment we walked into Casa 44 and were greeted by Brennan and Andrew, we felt totally at home, they made our stay delightful... Our room was beautiful very clean and the views are amazing both from our room and especially from the rooftop terrace. The breakfast that they provided was 5 star as was the total experience of our stay .... we have enjoyed it so much that we have rebooked for later this year. Thank you so much to Brennan and Andrew for making our stay so special.
