Un patio lastricato offre posti a sedere all'aperto.

The Red Cottage is an easy walk to St. George Street and all of the historical sights we were interested in seeing. The cottage itself is an eclectic array of furnishings. We are not 5 star accommodation seekers. So, the few quirks we encountered did not disturb us. Unfortunately my husband caught a cough due to cold, which curtailed our sight seeing. But, the good news is, Jeremy, the owner was kind enough to give him ibuprofen and cough drops to help him through. Remember folks, it's always an adventure when you rent a place sight unseen. Ejoy the ride!

This cute little room behind the house was perfect for what we needed. It was across the street from Florida Man Games (a venue that hosts many other festivals) and maybe 2-3 blocks from all the major st augustine historic district attractions. There is parking on site, which is huge for that area. The room itself is not the cleanest in the knooks and crannies but we're not picky about that sort of thing so the charm of it greatly outweighed the little things. Host was very involved and concerned for our comfort, thanks Jeremy! It's a tight squeeze and a good rental for 2, but we also made 4 work in the space with no issues. You really can't beat the location and the price! Excellent people watching capabilities.

A good value. Cabin was clean. It could use a little cleaning up outside. But would definitely book again.A great pet friendly place!

Loved this cottage. The host let us park and drop off stuff early to avoid paying the $20 parking fee near St. George street. VERY friendly and welcoming. The cottage is honestly described by host and we loved the rustic history of it. Not for anyone looking for luxury. The only negative is the bathroom is very small so if your tall or larger the shower will pose a challenge. A flexible shower head would help. There are some needed repairs but overall just what we needed and location is GREAT. price is right!

The smell of cigarettes was so bad we couldn't stay and had to cancel. I will say that the location is great and the owner was very friendly and offered us a full refund which we accepted. So that was good. But people should be aware of the smell issue.

The cottage is in walking distance to all of the attractions. We enjoyed our walks to sight see. The cottage is rustic as described on VBRO. We enjoyed its uniqueness. We were allowed to park on the property while we went sight seeing e4 hours before check-in and check in an hour early.

I stayed here with my 2 young daughters and we had a great time. They loved sleeping in the loft. Jeremy was very kind and helpful. He gave us wonderful suggestions on where to go and what to see. The area is rather noisy, but it stopped around 10 and we were there on the busiest week of the year.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Christmas Eve and woke up here Christmas Day. The cabin is so cute and so much character. We loved it! My favorite part was the little loft! I felt like I was in a tree house. We said this will probably be our go to place when we visit st Augustine now. Oh! And there was a cute little kitty outside on the patio furniture! 😁

Great location proximate to all of the wonderful st Augustine history. Pleasant and accommodating host. Very small lodgings but exactly as advertised and cozy.

Property is not as described. Dirty, linens soiled, damage flooring, walls rotted and soft in areas. This was a shed turned into a rental. Left early only stayed 1 night as no option that late in evening to change places. Had a urine or cat smell to it. Came back from dinner to find 20+ vehicles parked right up against the house and around our vehicles. People walking behind and beside the house because they parked in yard. This is a shed to the main house which is on property and occupied. Would give no stars if option.

We booked three nights but left after second night.
This property needs a complete renovation.
Owner pleasant but needs to address the numerous issues, instead of making excuses to the accurate negative reviews.

Nice stay overall. This property met all our needs for the weekend. Nice proximity to historic district. Host was very accommodating and it was really nice to be allowed to bring our dog with us.

Walking distance to downtown, Jeremy was very attentive, private

The location was great as it was very close to downtown, but the road noise was pretty bad/. The toilet had a very strange setup. My wife is short and almost fell off. The dishes were dirty and the loft had a bed that was unmade.

Cool spot, easy to walk to everything. Tiny house, but surprisingly spacious once you're inside. EaSy walk to everything, Jeremy refered to it as ground zero for parking, and its true! Cool rustic house and property

Short walk to historic center. Rustic old time feel.

While we agree with the description of the uniqueness of the property, we would never stay here again. 1st-The front patio looked like a catchall space, old tub behind an outdoor sofa, a rusted-out fire pit shoved in the corner, tree debris throughout the patio, makeshift umbrella stand, with no umbrella, no ashtrays outdoors- generally, uninviting entrance. 2nd, Coffee cups in the cupboard were put away unwashed. The two fry pans were greasy with food caked on and left in a greasy, unclean oven. 3rd- Mold in the shower and the toilet is elevated and very uncomfortable to use. We couldn't help but wonder if the sheets were cleaned. Did anyone really clean up beforehand? - Granted we were visiting during the Night of Lights and expected some street noise. However, we did now know that all the property around the cottage was used as a parking lot each night we were there. The noise and foot traffic around the house until 10:30 p.m. was unnerving. This cottage needs a lot of TLC, from cleaning the outside, painting the baseboards & bathroom door inside, cleaning the moldy shower (which we did not use), repairing broken & chipped tiles around the toilet, and removing the multiple-layered carpets to eliminate tripping. I highly recommend closing off the entrance to the "owners' parking lot" adjacent to the cottage entrance to stop foot traffic all around the cottage entrance and bedroom window. This was probably once a nice little retreat but has fallen into disarray.

Location, location!! Quirky and comfortable! Host is most amiable and accommodating! And the fact that we had two large dogs was never an issue.

Top three trip to the southeast! The cottage was great and the host was fantastic. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be close to old town St. Augustine. Loved the historic cottage. Easy walk, pet friendly, and quiet. Loved it!

All you need in one little renovated shed! This place was awesome, just park your car and walk. Historic downtown Saint Augustine is literally right out the doorway. My girlfriend and I will be going back there over and over again, so you better book it before we do!

I invited my 56 year old brother to Saint Augustine for his birthday. It was raining, but we still had a great time at the little cottage. There was a large umbrella sitting outside so we could stay out of the rain. chairs got a little wet, but I had a couple of my own that we Used. My brother slept up in the loft and really said he enjoyed it. Our host Jeremy made sure we had everything that we needed. Cable box had to be repaired so no TV that night but repair man did arrived the next morning. We both said that we would come back and enjoy it again.

The cottage is very quaint and in a great location. It's on a busy road so be prepared for some traffic noise but nothing much more then a hotel room. Our biggest hang up was the cleanliness of the property and the loft. The decorating worked well for the age of the building which we found to be super cool. With a few things fixed and cleaned up inside and and out and maybe a small dresser and this place is a gleaming 5 star review all day long.

Staying at red little cottage was awesome!
Jeremy, Barbara and Hilary are great hosts and made us feel very welcome at this cute little place!
Made us feel like being back in the days and matched perfect with this beautiful, historical city.
We had a blast! Thank you guys!!!

The house is a 'tiny house'. It has everything you need. It was clean and comfortable. Best of all we could walk everywhere we went. The shower was a little small and there were ants every now and then; but it was over all a good experience. Jeremy was a great host.

Our stay was extremely pleasant as we were greeted by Mr. Jeremy and given a tour of the property and the cottage! What a charming place equipped with all the essentials needed to make your stay comfortable.
The cottage is located at a prime location and made for walking to be the easiest way to get to downtown and all the locations you want to hit without having to worry about driving, finding parking and paying the extra fees to park.
Overall, we loved our stay and found the cottage to be perfect for us (and our dog) while being located at the best spot! The host was amazing and added to the charm of the place!

Property was as shown and as described in the listing! Super unique, wonderful and comfortable! The location made it easy to get around and the hosts were very sweet and accommodating! We had to cut our trip short because our Chihuahua got sick but would definitely stay there again!

Property was in the best location just a short walk to St. George St. Hosts were super hospitable and welcoming. Great place to stay in St. Augustine.

Great little cottage that is within walking distance to just about everything. There were several negative reviews of this place and I honestly don’t understand why, the owner hides nothing with the pictures, what you see is what you get. The cottage is approximately the size of a decent hotel room. This place was exactly what we expected. It faces the park behind the parking garage that is right across the road from Ripley’s so it is well traveled, however the outside noise from traffic is no worse than if you were staying at a hotel by the interstate. The cottage seemed to have been well sealed as we noticed no leaks as it rained almost there entire time we were there, nor did it ever get too hot. The host is absolutely wonderful, happy to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. Since this is a cottage it’s perfect for a couple or a family with no more than 2 small children as there are 2 beds with one being placed in the loft (our son thoroughly enjoyed the loft). Bottom line if you want to leave your car in one spot for the entirety of your stay and save a little on gas and paying for a city parking spot, don’t mind staying in a rustic style cottage for the price of (if not cheaper than) a hotel room as close to the historic downtown as this place was then you will absolutely enjoy your stay, I know my family and I sure did and we will gladly without hesitation stay here again should it be available.

What a hidden gem! Perfect for our 2 night stay. Easy off street parking and short walk to the trolley stop, old town and so much more. The home was well equipped with everything. The loft was really a great bonus. Really loved all the quirkiness and the host was really nice and accomodating.

The property is an older cottage and has a very homey feel. It was located is a central area of old town with easy access to the Tourist Attractions. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This is a converted shed or workshop. The back is still that but the front has been made into a cute little getaway with everything you need. Very artistic decorations and nice touches inside. Very clean. Outside patio, although close to the sidewalk, is lovely to hang out in as there’s not much pedestrian traffic. Free parking next to the cottage and you can walk into St. Augustine so less hassle. The hosts are super accommodating and respond promptly. We enjoyed staying here.
