We booked here to have a few days of complete relaxation and to visit Krka National Park. This place was perfect for both. Everything about this property was exceptional. The indoor and outdoor spaces were very beautifully done and to a very high standard. Wished we had booked longer as it was such a beautiful retreat.

What a fantastic stay! The villa is beautiful inside and out. The kitchen was so well equipped, the best we’ve experienced on our travels. The outside space makes for a relaxing holiday, we loved using the sauna once the sun went down. Set in peaceful Bicine, it’s just a short distance from Skradin with it’s picturesque marina, restaurants and small supermarkets. We appreciated the personal touches and Josip’s warm welcome, looking forward to coming back!

We loved everything of the villa: the pool, terrace with curtains, jaccuzi, sauna, double bathrooms with bath and amazing shower, big bed rooms with aircon, the bbq- and kitchen facilities, the American fridge with ice cubes, the exceptional care of host Maja and the beautiful staged villa.

The bed was a little too hard for us.

Our stay at Villa Hirundo Rustico war exceptionally great. We rented the smaller of the two villas, and all our wishes were fulfilled, or even exceeded. The house is exactly as on the photos. The yard and the pool are amazing, the house is very clean, modern and well kept. We also didn't miss a single thing in the kitchen. The best "part" though is the host. Maja is a wonderful and kind person and was very helpful with tips, restaurant recommendations etc. She even brought fresh fruit and homemade pastry from time to time, which was fantastic. We highly recommend Villa Hirundo Rustica!

When we arrived, the weather wasn't the best, and because of that, the pool was a bit too cold and it took a few days to warm it up, but that isn't the host's fault.

Ok so we were welcomed by dear dear Maja upon arrival who picked fresh fruit for us and had a shot of Homemade walnut liquor with us before she toured us through the most incredible villa you can imagine. First of all, design is absolutely incredible. I asked her for info on half of furniture in the house :) Living room: Cozy and comfortable. Beautifully done and extension of the best equipped kitchen I have seen in rentals, not to mention the entire kitchen utensils are Villeroy & Boch. Bedroom in the ground floor is so cute and served us as an afternoon nap bedroom. Bedrooms- beds are very comfortable, bathrooms very good. You can close all shutters to make it completely dark if you wish. This was super important to me because I wake up with the first ray of sun. Beat thing about bedrooms is the exit to the sweetest terrace you can imagine. Ideal for morning coffee in the shade or a night cap. We used it for both :) Outdoor area- absolutely impressive, from pool, floaties, sauna, outdoor shower, toilet, huge beautifully maintained lawn, bbq, pizza oven, ping pong table, bikes and more I don’t even remember. Impressive to say the least. We spent most of the time in the villa and not once were bored! Last but not least or better said most important, the host- Maja. This is hospitality that one doesn’t find any longer. Young, hardworking and enthusiastic, Maja brought us something every single day - from watermelon to a whole freshly baked local cake (gluten free on top of it!), their family wine and cookies. We were literally overwhelmed (in a best possible way!) by her hospitality. It is her kindness that made this stay best stay ever, anywhere.
