Gorgeous property & home . First time at the lake and it was wonderful. Super fun. Boat dock was so nice to wake up to. Breezy point Lane boat launch was easier for us to use than the neighborhood Gangplank launch.

Our party of 8 (6 adults and 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake. Kirsten is an excellent host and communicator. The house was stocked with essentials. Location was perfect. We loved the dock, which was well equipped with seating, kayaks, rope swing, and diving board. We highly recommend this property!

Our stay at Kirsten's home surpassed our expectations! We loved the home, its location and the attention to details especially for a family like ours who love to play games, boat, kayak, and eat home cooked meals. The appliances in the house are top rate, the ping pong table was used continuously and the fire pit was an added bonus for the cool evenings. Kirsten is a terrific host who communicates honestly and in a timely manner. The home is expensive and worth every penny! We will want to stay here again in the future. Our adult children thanked us many times over for finding such a wonderful house to stay.

This house was perfect for 7 adults and 3 children. The kitchen was incredibly equipped for meal preparation and we found everything we needed for a long weekend to enjoy our time together. The cove is quite and nice for floating and swimming even for very young children. The host is very sweet and helpful. Easy to book, enjoyable to stay!

This is our second year returning to this house because it’s just so perfect. The location overlooking the water, the beautiful dock, and the gorgeous home and all of its accoutrements are a great way to spend a week at SML. We’re already talking about booking for next year!
We had a small inconvenience at the beginning of the trip which the owners were so apologetic about, and they more than made up for by graciously letting us stay longer — it was such a nice surprise.

This home is absolutely beautiful and the property was awesome. We went to celebrate Thanksgiving and I was very impressed with the kitchen. Our grandchildren had fun fishing off the dock.
The host was always available and made our stay so much more pleasurable by proving us with all of her thoughts and suggestions on what to do in Smith Mountain Lake. Would definitely go to this property again.

This house was just perfect for our friends and family to get together. The house was clean and had lots of room. The location was great and quiet. We enjoyed spending all day on the lake floating and jumping off the diving board.

Utterly fantastic home
We visited with 3 adults and 6 teens — this house had tons of space and the perfect room configurations. We loved lounging on the dock couches/swings and magic carpet during the day, as well as sitting at the firepit table on the high deck off the living room for breakfast and after dark.
The cove is lovely and quiet, the home is near lots of amenities, and the owner was super helpful and responsive when we had a few questions.

Lovely Vacation Home
This is a beautiful home on the lake with all the amenities and conveniences for a week’s vacation. The house is situated in a quiet cove and we loved spending time on the dock and enjoyed using the kayak and floats. Kirsten was prompt to replying to all of our questions. Our family highly recommends this property and the outstanding hospitality Kirsten provided.

Incredible Smith Mountain Lake getaway for the family!!
If you are looking for a home right on the water at Smith Mountain Lake that has a little something for everyone, this is the house for you! The view alone from the top deck is incredible, but the house has so much character and even our kids were on cloud 9 our entire stay. The owners were incredible to work with and we would recommend this house to anyone!

Spring Break 2022
We enjoyed relaxing at this beautiful home during a chilly spring break at SML. I had a rental wetsuit delivered while we were there to prepare for an upcoming open water triathlon. My dog dipped his toes in the lake and considered chasing a couple of ducks. Too cold for swimming this year! Thank you for having us!

This home has an amazing kitchen and the views are exceptional. Loved it and plan to stay again in the future as this property is 5 minutes from our parents spot on the lake.

Amazing luxury lakefront home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is gorgeous inside and out with lots of personal and artistic touches. The location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and marinas and the neighborhood is lovely. We will definitely try to stay there again. I would highly recommend booking this home.

We had a wonderful stay at this house on the northern shore. The house is well equipped with everything you could need, and plenty of activities to make everyone happy. The views are great, the area peaceful, and it made for a really relaxing long weekend get away for our family. And they are pet friendly!

Peaceful Respite
What a perfect place for us to gather after a Celebration of Life for a family member. The home is beautiful, many places to gather and also to retreat. Well laid out, appointed, designed and equipped. Even had beautiful baby equipment for our new grandbaby. Kirsten was gracious and thoughtful to work with.We have not one thing to complain about. It is a perfect home.

Family Time Before Deployment
We had a perfect stay at this property with our adult sons and their girlfriends. We thought every detail was amazing from the beautiful lake view, the comfortable seating on the boat dock and the lovely furnishings in every room. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the nice grill and firepit on the upper deck. We did a lot of cooking during our stay. The family room downstairs made a perfect spot to watch the college football game and later to play games. We had a ping pong competition and did a lot of kayaking. The most special part of the weekend was watching our oldest son propose to his girlfriend down on the dock as the sun was setting. That made a lovely back drop for engagement pictures. I can not say enough good things about our stay. We will definitely return here with our family in the future.

Amazing lake retreat
From the day we booked until we checked out everything about our experience was just right. The house was stocked with everything to make you feel right at home. The beds and linens were super comfy with several pillow options which was nice. The dock area was where we spent the time that we weren’t out on the boat. It is perfect for swimming and playing or just a nice afternoon nap! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home at fantastic lake location
This was our second June visit to SML, repeating at this luxury home at a great location. It is just 10 minutes boat/jetski ride east of the Washington bridge and in a cove of just 6 houses, set back from the main lake. The dock has two long sides, to accommodate a boat and jet skis (you must rent separately). The seating area on the dock seats at least 8 (under roof) and more uncovered, making it a favorite place for the family to hang out all day. The sun sets at the closed end of the cove, giving a beautiful sunlit view out to the main lake, especially from the highest/open deck. We bring food to prep all our meals and know the kitchen has every device, utensil or vessel we'll need. And the cleaning policy allows for long shelf-life items to remain in the pantry, cutting down on grocery shopping time and expense. All told, we enjoy every aspect of the house and will likely return in another year.

Spring Break 2021
Beautiful home on the lake in a nice neighborhood! Amazing dock, quiet cove, comfy beds, spacious kitchen and living room with plenty of room for several families to enjoy time together. We enjoyed a hike at the state park, shopped at Reclaimed and Bridgewater marina, and relaxed on the dock entertained by my dog’s first encounter with real ducks. The dock has a sloping water entry for dogs (or kayaks?) that was perfect for him to enjoy dipping into the very cold lake water! Very fun trip! Would love to live here forever!!

This long overdue trip to celebrate a birthday with close friends was very enjoyable due to this North Shore property! Communication with owner was excellent, property was very clean, location was ideal and relaxation factor was off the charts. A spectacular property all around, the pictures really don’t do it justice! It has an excellent layout that provides both privacy for getting school and remote work done (including a great home office set up), but it also has great gathering areas for the family after work. The interior has high-end designer furnishings throughout, including the kitchen appliances, TV's, streaming services, and Wifi which are all state of the art. The view from the kitchen, sitting room, and deck were all perfect for sunrises and the tabletop firepit was a great addition for the evenings.
The exterior is just as wonderful with a beautiful selection of flowers, plants, and trees that are meticulously landscaped. And the large dock area provided great family relaxation time down by the water. Even the garage and covered entry way was great to have, since we arrived during a thunderstorm.
There was clearly a lot of thought put into this property as it provides plenty of comforts and amenities for both kids and adults, and it really shows!

Family Get Away
Love this house for our family get away! Big enough for everyone to be comfortable. It has a great kitchen! The deck was enjoyed by everyone. We ate every dinner on the deck around the fire pit. The dock is amazing! Rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed for the day. A great time was had by all!

Beautiful home, beautiful lake.
This home is well furnished and is as beautiful as advertised. The house was well-supplied with paper products and anything needed in the kitchen. The beds and linens were quality and comfortable. The only fault is that the microwave went out on Thanksgiving Day and could not be replaced during our stay. This provided a challenge with leftover days and warming things up, but the view of the lake helped us get over it!
