Moonflower cottage is wonderfully cozy with a beautiful mountain view. Upon entering the cottage, you feel right at home. The kitchen is equipped with all that you need to prepare a meal. The bedrooms are plenty big with comfortable beds. The screened in porch is lovely and a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. This was our 2nd visit to Moonflower Cottage and we will definitely be back for a 3rd visit!

The BEST hours we have ever rented on VRBO. Exceeded our expectations! Loved the house, loved Mentone, will definitely return & rent this house.

The space was very charming and comfortable and the view was spectacular. The Episcopal church down the road is really lovely and the De Soto Falls hike was nice. We missed our dogs, though, and will unfortunately be looking for a new place that allows pets if we come back, but it was a great location and a VERY lovely getaway!

This was the absolute best rental we have ever had. Just as described in the VRBO website, convenient, a very homey feel, beautiful view from front porch. Would highly recommend this rental. Moonflower Cottage does not disappoint!! This is a return visit for us, and it would be hard to stay anywhere else. The hosts are so nice and helpful. The home is very clean and well appointed. Moonflower & Mentone provide just what we need to rest, relax, and recharge. Hoping we can make a return visit! OH, and the sunsets...

We enjoyed sitting on the front porch to watch the sun rise and set every day. Easy to find and very relaxing. Everybody in the area were so friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and comfortable. Loved the screened in back porch.

Loved sitting on the front porch every evening watching the sunset. Moon Flower Cottage was a very charming house that fit our and our friends needs perfectly. Good restaurants in the area and we're even able to attend a street fair down in Ft. Payne. Two-thumbs up!

We got to the house a little before check in and got to meet the owners. Very nice couple. The house was just like the pictures, the view was just what we were looking for. There was a storm the next morning after we checked in and the whole town lost power for 16 hours. We got a hotel for the night and decided to check out early. The owners were very understanding, wasn’t their fault or ours, just Mother Nature doing her thing. For the one night we stayed there it was just what we were looking for. Would recommend booking.

Moonflower Cottage is a perfect place to stay. Not only is the very clean kitchen furnished with everything you need, it also has a pantry with empty shelves so you can store your items out of the way. We enjoyed our evenings on the front porch rocking chairs enjoying the sunsets. After sunset, we would enjoy s’mores by the firepit outside. Wood and fire starters were provided. There were plenty of towels and bed linens. I can’t emphasize the cleanliness of Moonflower Cottage. Our grandchildren enjoyed the candy and snack crackers that were left for them. If you are looking for a place to stay in Mentone, I can’t recommend Moonflower Cottage enough!

We had a wonderful time away in Mentone! This was definitely our favorite place we have stayed. Loved sitting on the back porch, walking to Brow Park as well as downtown! We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I came to relax and get refreshed on our anniversary and did this place go above and beyond our expectations. The owners thought of everything to make a great memory. From the special dinnerware, to a fully equipped kitchen to extra towels and wash rags. And 2 recliners!!! Now days establishments give you one wash rag and towel. But not here. And then when you wake up you are above the clouds. Great places to see some great waterfalls and some good cooking right in Mentone. If your looking for excellence then book this place now!!!

We have stayed several times at Moonflower and absolutely love it each time. The location is perfect. The only bad thing is having to leave. Highly recommend !

The cottage was fantastic! Great front porch view of the mountains! Great back porch wooded view from a beautiful screened in porch. Great location to restaurants and activities. The cottage was extremely clean and was very tastefully decorated. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back again!

I would've given communication 6 stars if I could've. The indoor fireplace wouldn't turn on for a minute and after talking to Ben he explained how to restart it on the phone and even offered to come over and help out if needed. The property was amazing and the hosts were awesome as well. We will definitely be returning.

The cottage was even better than expected. Location was perfect. The sunset over the valley was beautiful........we enjoyed it very much. I have already recommended it to a dear friend.
