Relaxing cottage on Burt Lake
Vieni a fuggire in questo cottage ristrutturato con oltre 150 piedi di facciata sul lago. Sedersi e rilassarsi nel soggiorno a soli 12 piedi dal bordo delle acque o rilassarsi sulle sedie sul ponte godendosi la vista. Immergiti nella vasca idromassaggio mentre guardi le stelle. Goditi l'alba migliore dal soggiorno. Le 2 camere da letto al piano principale includono un letto matrimoniale nella camera matrimoniale con bagno privato e un letto matrimoniale nella camera degli ospiti. I bagni hanno docce piastrellate. La scala stretta al piano superiore è composta da 4 letti singoli in 2 aree separate, c'è un soffitto basso che lo rende un posto perfetto per i bambini. Inoltre, c'è un piccolo teatro con un soppalco a due letti per chi vuole avventurarsi e dormire nei boschi. Una griglia a gas esterna, un tavolo da patio e 4 sedie rendono la bella esperienza culinaria all'aperto in estate. Puoi anche arrostire marshmallow e radunarti intorno alla buca per il fuoco di notte. Un molo privato consente un facile accesso al lago dove è possibile pescare al largo del molo! Per completare il soggiorno, vengono forniti kayak e giubbotti di salvataggio. L'acqua sul lato ovest di Burt tende a essere calma. Consiglierei scarpe d'acqua a causa di rocce sulla riva.

Very close to the water and this added to the lake experience:) User friendly everything....firepit, soloburner, hot tub, water equipment etc... Lots of details were done to make our stay easy and comfortable. Great taste as well in linens, towels, and blankets. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to everyone.

We had an amazing 2 weeks on the lake. The house is fantastic with everything you need. We had fabulous days/evenings sitting outside and just taking in the views. Greg and Melissa are with out a doubt the best hosts we have ever had. Very responsive, proactive and going the extra mile to ensure our stay was the best it could be. When we go back to northern Michigan this place will for sure be on the short list.

This property was amazing! The lake views, amenities, cleanliness and host communications were all top notch. The house was super comfortable and peaceful . We would definitely return to this house if in Michigan. Love, love, love!

This was our second year staying in this cottage and it did not disappoint. Great location, clean, has everything you need and even things you may have forgotten. We like coming in late August…it’s quiet and not so crowded. Excellent communication with the Owner.

We had a wonderful time and loved watching the sunrise every morning. The property has so much to offer, from kayaking to lounging in the hot tub. Our kids found plenty to entertain. And Gregory was very responsive when we had questions.

Perfect Up North Lake Cottage
Our large family of 6 typically has to compromise and either stay in a large house or little up north cottage depending on what we are prioritizing. This comes with a sacrifice, amenities and climate control or true cottage experience.
No compromise here. We had sleeping space to spare. Each room had its own ac and heat. A good night's rest keeps the lake life going.
Gregory had us provisioned beyond our expectation. Didn't matter what little comfort I forgot. He had me covered.
Spacious living room and amazing out door living. Our one rained out evening we spent watching a moving while feeling we were on the lake. That is a beautiful way to relax and watch a storm.
After logging long days on the lake the kids enjoyed the hot tube while my wife and I grilled, relaxed on the deck and burned a fire.
Your family will love this little cottage!!!

Quiet and Relaxing
Great property and experience. The host was very thorough and great at communication in the weeks before the trip and during the trip. They made great recommendations on places to eat and things to do. My family and I enjoyed the trip and the area.

UP vacation
The property was a little more secluded than we expected, but it was so nice. It was cozy but with enough space for our family of 6. The view was spectacular & we enjoyed the patio/hot tub. Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome home!
We loved our stay at Burt Lake. The home was beautiful, in a great location. We rode bikes, hiked, drove ATVs at Big Bear, went to Mackinac Island, and shopping in both Harbor Springs and Mackinaw City.
The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor seating area was perfect. My teens especially enjoyed the hot tub. My only negative is that I’m used to sun blocking curtains at home, so I woke up really early everyday!
The owners were quick to answer if we had any questions. We would love to visit this home again someday.

The best! Will never forget our stay
We were traveling cross country and needed a place to stay for a week to work. After much searching in the UP, this spot was the best we could find. The aunt rises and sunsets were both exceptional, especially the latter from the hot tub. The view from the living room is all lake.
Everything else was above average. Bring food and condiments and you won’t need to leave the whole week you’re there! The internet was solid too, only dropped occasionally, while two of us were on our computers all day and often doing video calls. Thanks!!!

Peaceful and fun for everyone!
The house and amenities were all great and we enjoyed using them all, the hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, and of course, the lake with sunrises over it!! The home is comfortable and had plenty of room for the 6 of us.
We really enjoyed our stay and the close proximity to Mackinaw, Petoskey, hiking and golfing. Thank you to our hosts for kindness shown.

Perfect Location
Loved our stay here. Perfect size for us…3 adults. Easy check in, very clean, lots of amenities and the owner very accessible and friendly. Great location overlooking the lake. Highly recommend. Definitely would book again.

Relaxing family getaway
Our stay in this home was amazing! Had a super easy check in, was greeted with a wonderful welcome tray (never had one in any of our other rentals) and the beds were so comfy. Lake was crystal clear and we all loved swimming at the end of the dock. Hot tub was enjoyed nightly! The deck was our favorite spot, perfect for sunrises and relaxing. The fact that firewood was supplied was a very special bonus, we had smores every night. All around, my husband, my mom, our two teenagers (and they each brought a friend) had a great week and were sad to go! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home!

Great intro to Northern Michigan
This was my family’s first trip to northern Michigan and this house was a great introduction. My kids loved the crystal clear lake and the kayaks. It’s central location allowed us to see so much of the area, from Petovsky to the UP to Mackinac Island to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was a huge plus after a day of hiking and the owners were very easy to work with. We are very happy with our decision to stay here.

First family cottage rental
Property was perfect. Grandkids loved the hot tub and kayaks. Master bedroom with own bathroom was priceless. Internet and tv service worked great.

Amazing house great for families
This is one of the best places I have rented on Vrbo. The owners take great care to make the house well stocked and comfortable. My kids (7 and younger) really enjoyed the playhouse, outdoor toy bin and swimming off the end of the dock. The house has a great yard with a great view. The owners checked in twice with me durning my stay they were very accessible and friendly. I highly recommend this rental.

Tranquil Treasure
What an absolutely beautiful property and home! We came to enjoy the fall colors and were not disappointed in the color or the home. The house is well maintained and appointed it's also very clean and as pictured. The views over Burt Lake are incredibly peaceful and serene. We also found the property owners very friendly and communicative they checked in several times throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. My kids are already requesting a return visit during the summer months. We highly recommend this home whether a couple, a group of friends or a family you will not be disappointed. Peaceful and Quiet
A lot of thought and care has been placed into this beautiful cabin. There are many amenities for outdoor play, cooking, wonderful hot showers and comfy sheets. It is a great location from many day trips in northern Michigan. The lake is very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our time at Burt Lake and look forward to coming again.

Great Late Summer Get Away
This lake front cottage is the perfect Northern Michigan retreat. Great accommodations, amazing views, everything you would want in a family get away. The property managers are also very accommodating to ensure the quality of your experience!

Perfect location on Burt Lake
Fantastic experience on the calm, quiet west side of Burt Lake. The property is very clean and roomy. The porch area facing the lake is well maintained and comes with a picnic table, hot tub, grill, and fire pit. The dock is fantastic, lake is clear, and lake bed is soft. I would recommend going into the dock at night and watching the stars ( we saw several falling stars).
We used the kayaks and spent all our time by the lake. We would absolutely rent again.

Great house and experience! Very nicely remodeled and clean. Looks even better in person. Just steps away from the water making for amazing views inside and outside of the home. The owner was very responsive and has thought of everything, including amenities similar to what you’d find in an upscale hotel. Have stayed on Burt Lake for years. This is our new favorite find!

You should book this now...
I've stayed in a lot of houses. I have stayed in larger houses. I have stayed in fancier houses. I have stayed in homes with access to the owner's closets. I have never stayed in a home that was so thoughtfully hosted and presented. If you are deciding between this and another home, stop right now and book it. The care that the homeowner's have put into your stay is going to make all the difference. It felt like staying in a family member's home (and they were happy to have you). The home fit two families of four perfectly. We never felt on top of each other. The zoned cooling was appreciated. The lake was great for paddle boarding, kayaking and boating. We took full advantage of the fire pit and hot tub. This house had everything and more that we were hoping for. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Great cottage
We enjoyed everything about this cottage. It was very clean with nice amenities like towels, bedding, shampoo, bug spray, citronella candles, firewood, patio furniture, boat lift, etc. The water was beautiful. Wood definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Lakefront Home
This beautiful lakefront home was a perfect vacation getaway for my family. The home has a prime location on Burt Lake with amazing water views from the deck. It also has very comfortable beds, upscale bathrooms and many thoughtful items provided in case one forgets to pack (toiletries, paper products, etc.). Thank you to the owners for great communication and sharing their wonderful place. We very much hope to return next summer.
