My family and I had the trip of a lifetime in Hawaii! We absolutely loved our condo sweet condo. Best view in the building, incredibly comfortable beds, and everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation stay. Loved the location, just far enough from town to be away from the busyness, but a close drive or free trolley ride in. Took so many sunset pics, having a few blown up and printed! Holly was super quick to respond to any needs. Would come back here in a heartbeat.

This unit was exceptionally clean & I have very high standards. The kitchen was well furnished with all the necessities & bathrooms had many towels available. We loved the spacious lanai & spent most of our time there. We would definitely stay here when visiting Kona next time. Our only complaint is the pool area was very small and shaded from 1:30 pm on in January. But the beautiful unit made up for it! ☺️

Property was wonderful. Perfect location. Modern decore. Incredible watching the surfers and whales each day. Property manager (Holly) was very responsive and answered all of our questions. Would rent again next year but it’s already booked.

Seriously this place is right on the water. It was fun to wake up, open my eyes and see the ocean. We enjoyed watching surfers everyday. The amenities were great. Most comfortable beds, pillows and couch I’ve had at a vrbo. The only draw back is the lack of AC in the other room, but we knew that going in.

Everything was clean and well kept and the view was fantastic. Everything we needed was provided. The pool and hot tub were disappointing but we really didn’t care as we didn’t plan to spend much time there. I would stay here again.

The pictures and description of the Penthouse is spot-on! The view is amazing. We sat on the lanai every morning drinking our coffee and watching the surfers and waves. We ate breakfast and dinner on the lanai. It was definitely our favorite part of the place. The place including the kitchen was will stocked with anything you need, the beds were comfortable, and did I mention the views...so amazing. I was concerned about the guest room being warm but there was a ceiling fan and a rotating fan our daughter/boyfriend were comfortable and it was humid during the day/early evening. It was close to shopping and restaurants. Papa Kona restaurant is very good! We ate there 3 times including Thanksgiving! We hope to return soon! The best feature of the room is the amazing lanai (large balcony)! There are 2 loungers, a table, hooks and transparent shades that drop down. There are surfers 300 yards from lanai, all day long LIVE ENTERTAINMENT. Lava rocks at the entrance of ocean and is not friendly for swimming. The lanai glass wall completely opens. The air conditioning worked well. The master bed was comfortable. Storage in closet, and under bed. There was multiple fold up chairs and coolers. There is a pocket wall between the master bedroom and living room. The TV mount allowed easy viewing. The TV was a current smart TV with screen mirroring. The kitchen has plenty of cooking supplies. There were casserole dishes the we used to warm our pre-order meals each night, ordered from Taylored Meals in Kona. The second bedroom had a TV and fan, closet storage but doesn’t have direct air conditioning vents. Hair dryer and washer and dryer in bathroom. In the grass area on the property there are several BBQs. The unit has BBQ equipment. Free public transportation pick up station directing adjacent to property. The bus runs every hour on the hour, was 12-minute ride to downtown. There are multiple grocery stores in Kona we spent our money at local KTA stores several nearby. Holly was wonderful about communication. We would highly recommend this unit. Thank You for a Wonderful 30th Anniversary experience.

The property is just outstanding. Everything seems absolutely new. Holly seems to have thought of everything. The view from the lanai is amazing. The descriptions are 100% accurate and communication and coordination were outstanding. Would highly recommend.

Great location, close to restaurants, bars, beaches and more. Very well remodeled condo, with a killer view. Holly was communicative and helpful - would stay again!

The property was exactly as described and pictured and the property manager was the best! She was attentive, accommodating and thought of everything! It was hands down the cleanest property we ever stayed at and all of the furnishings and appliances were kept in pristine condition. They thought of everything by having beach chairs, umbrellas and two types of coolers available for use. Even had coffee filters, sandwich bags, plastic wrap, etc. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

This condo is gorgeous! Every little thing you could possibly want in a vacation unit and then some. Opening those big accordion doors in the morning brought the whole beach right in. Wonderful communication with Holly. Book it! You won’t regret it for a second.

This place was simply amazing! The views are to die for. Everything you could possibly need outside of food is provided in the house. Holly made us aware of anything we needed to know and was willing to help no matter how crazy my questions were! Can't wait to return! And did I mention the views??

Loved the property, it was fabulous! Small details - Back bedroom is a little warm and noisy (the louvers don't close all the way), the curtains to the patio don't fully close, Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful condo in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it if your staying on the Big Island. The owner has everything you need to prepare meals on site. Quality cookware, seasonings as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler and beach towels. We were amazed at the small details provided that are not normally thought of. The owner definitely has if outfitted as if she herself were coming to stay for the week. Wonderful!

Had a lovely 4 days in this beautiful place. Ideal home base for exploring the island. Lovely space to finish off the day, and fall asleep to the sounds of the lulling waves.

After having to suddenly rebook due to the original properties elevator breaking, I was able to book this amazing place. Literally steps from the ocean and close to downtown Kailua-Kona, but not too close. Very well furnished and clean. Parking was adequate even with the renovations occurring to the parking area. Definitely a 5 star location!

Condo was the perfect spot for celebrating our 45th anniversary- beautiful picturesque views (including a full rainbow one morning!), great kitchen, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Holly was accessible, kind and hospitable! Thank you! We will miss the stunning sunsets on the lanai!

The location is perfect. Far enough from the super touristy areas but close to everything!! So well stocked!!!! The view is fantastic! Holly was super responsive and everything was very easy and fun! Loved all of it!!!

I LOVED my two-week stay here. Amazing VRBO rental. It is exactly like the photos suggest... beautiful. Holly has it impressively stocked with everything one might need for a stay (dish soap, new sponges, soap, paper towels, garbage bags, etc.).. you just need to get food. The view is incredible.. I loved watching the surfers nearby. What a treat. I kept the patio doors open with screens shut at night to hear the waves. I only used the A/C once for about 10 minutes on a humid day. But if you keep the top windows in the 2nd bedroom open, you'll get a nice cross breeze, esp. with the three overhead fans in the condo. Keyless door entry with a door code is also great. I looked at many condos and hotels online over the past few months before I chose this one, and I am so glad I did. Fantastic place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Our getaway at the Kona Bali Kai was epic. Our host, Holly was on the ball our whole stay. Her unit was just as expected. Fantastic views and conveniently located our unit was well appointed in a safe quiet complex. You cannot go wrong here with everything we did, nothing was far away up or down Ali’i Drive. Mahalo!

My friend and I came to climb the high point and just ended up whale watching from the lanai and relaxing. Fell in love with the big Island. This place had everything you can think of.

This is a great condo overlooking the beautiful ocean. We have stayed at the Kona Bali Kai quite a few times. This condo has been completely remodeled and the changes were done really well. We especially liked the changes made to the kitchen area. The diagonal change to the kitchen sink area was a great idea and really opens up the main room. The bathroom remodels were also well done. The remodel design was carefully thought through and they used some quality materials. We really enjoyed our stay. Holly was a terrific host and made everything easy.

Great condo with everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrellas, cooler) for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Spacious patio with room for 4. Full washer, dryer, and drying rack. Plenty of parking. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Master bath was quite spacious - equipped with plenty of towels. Well stocked with paper products. Back bedroom was a little warm (as listing indicates only 1 AC unit near master bedroom) but cooled down well with fan in doorway. Might benefit from 1 more fan to facilitate air movement to back of condo. We had a great stay!

This place has everything you need for a fun, comfortable, and marine-animal packed stay! The view is amazing - every day we enjoyed a gorgeous view packed with surfers and one or more ocean superstars - brightly colored reef fish, spinner dolphins (sometimes more than 25 at a time!!), honu (sea turtles), and humpback and other whales. Not to mention the gorgeous colors for each night’s sunset. Now for the condo itself - both beds are comfortable and well appointed, the kitchen has everything you need to cook meals at home, and the living room and dining room spaces were thoughtfully designed and comfortable. Not to mention the lanai’s great dining table and comfortable chairs! The location is perfect for exploring Kona and surrounding areas, and there’s even a few small beaches right on the property. All in all, it was a great place and we’d highly recommend it.

Everything went smoothly in our dealings with Holly and we didn't need to communicate with her at all during our stay--which is a great thing! The unit is beautifully decorated and everything you could want is provided. The best part is the lanai, overlooking tide pools which are great for exploring. We saw a couple of sea turtles up close and even a moray (I think) eel in the tide pools. We also got to watch surfers all day every day at the Banyans (from the Lanai) and there was even a Hawaiian Surf Assn. championship on one of our days. Even without that, you couldn't beat just relaxing out there with the views and crashing waves. Relaxing and exciting at the same time!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We absolutely loved staying in Kona at Holly's lovely vrbo rental. The lanai was a wonderful spot for breakfast, reading and watching the sunsets. Holly herself was also incredible, she provided nice restaurant recommendations for our 22nd wedding anniversary dinner. She also checked in with us a couple times to make sure we had what we needed. Honestly we didnt want to leave. Thank you Holly!
