There is a chair in the living room that is supposed to be light blue but is brown all over the place because of how dirty it is and the leather couches also needed a very good wipe down

The house is close to Road's End State Park and has several hiking trails within walkable distance. The set-up is great and several of us used the hot tub. One note - road noise is not great for the two bedrooms closest to the road (especially on Friday and Saturday nights).

We had a great time. Very roomy and clean. Plenary of room to spread out (we had 3 couples and two kids 7,9). Easy access to beach. Regular visits from neighboring deer!
Only comments- wish there was more hooks for wet towels. Also the fire alarm was very sensitive- we had to open all windows and patio door and run a fan. Despite that we were comfortable and we had a great time.

The property was well appointed and conveniently equipped. The grounds were well maintained and groomed. The smoke alarm was very sensitive to the use of the oven and dry food storage was limited but overall we had a great experience! The Mermaid is very close to the beach and great shopping! We definitely recommend the Mermaid!

The property was well maintained and clean. A 5 minute walk to the beach. The only downsides: the road is busy so have to be alert when walking to the beach. The hot tub was set higher than we like and didn't allow for a range to adjust it down if your staying for several days. Not the problem with the place but Monday garbage pick up is early (5:15am early). It is a lovely home with all the conveniences.

SUPER sensitive smoke detectors. Took nothing at all cooking on the stove to set off the WHOLE house. Woke everyone up. Exhaust fan was on. NO smoke at all. Had to open all windows and doors to get them to quit. Happened EVERY time we used the stove.

This house needs a major cleaning and renovation. The downstairs smells of dog urine. All of the blinds need fixed or replace, very dirty. The hardwood floors upstairs are completely worn. Walls are very damaged and many areas are dirty. The shower curtain downstairs had brown marks on it. I could go on and on, but basically this house needs attention. The property management company was very responsive and relocated us.

The house was perfect, beautiful and equipped with all one or a group needs. I absolutely love the decor. It was in walking distance from the beach and we had the privilege to be “visited” by a heard of deers, which made all even better.

My personal Opinion
The stay wasn't bad. It was okay. However the house was not clean. There were piles of dirt behind doorways. The stairs were very dirty and the playroom smelt so bad of animal urine. Also upon arrival all of our blankets were still wet like they had just been washed but not fully dried. We stayed for a week and the only thing the house was equipped with was dishes. No brooms or cleaning stuff, and we were only given 2 or 3 wash cloths. I was even told they would bring more and never did. This would be a great stay if the house was being cleaned properly and things were being updated. Nearly everything in the house is worn and falling apart. We tried to enjoy the hot tub however even that was dirty. There was nothing left out for us to use to clean. I have never stayed in a house where you did not have access to cleaning supplies. Definitely needs updating. Pro's are that it's spacious and close to the beach and town.

Amazing House
We enjoyed the house very much, it was but a short walk to the Roads End State Park. The hot tub is a large one and a great hit. Sitting on the deck, listening to the waves wer a fav of ours.

This house was the perfect size for celebrating Christmas with the kids and grandkids. We were surprised and delighted that it was decorated for the holiday!

Wonderful house within walking distance to beach
We had a very nice stay at this property while on vacation in Lincoln City Oregon. The house was warm and homey and had all the amenities we were looking for. It was well stocked with dishes and pretty much anything we were requiring. There was a view of the ocean from the front upper deck. The washing machine was not working during our stay however the property manager was very responsive and did send out someone to fix it, however we were not able to use it. The pull out bed downstairs was not comfortable according to my son. The windows were quite dirty and the house had quite a few cobwebs, however we looked past it. We enjoyed the deer and fawns in the next door neighbors yard, the hot tub, the ping pong table in the garage as well as the short walk to the beach. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful home
Loved the home and location. Very roomy and a short walk to the beach. I wish we could have used the hot tub but it was murky and foamy. Called management and they came right out to treat it but we could not use it before we checked out. Ran out of hot water after 2 adults showered. We would definitely still rent this again.

Great Place for Family
The house was very welcoming. We enjoyed the space and accessibility. We could tell it was well loved though. I left a couple comments to the owners but not complaints. If you go and have a full group, make sure to ask for more blankets and towels. Overall though it was a great place to stay. Conveniently located by all our wants and needs.

Beach stay😁
The house was amazing!!! The kids had the best time with all the extras, and I loved stepping out onto my bedroom patio early in the morning to be greeted by the sound of the sea. Perfect!

Great house
Unsure why our stay is being reviewed many months after our stay, but the house was great. Plenty of space and nice outdoor areas (decks, hot tub, and ping pong room). The beach is only a short walk down the street. The only complaint we had is that the AC doesn’t cool the house well but opening all of the windows helped and the pots/pans were a bit used which made cooking a little difficult (food sticking, few sizes, etc).

Excellent weekend getaway
We had a great time staying in this fun little beach cottage. They had everything we needed, including kitchen gadgets. We had issues with check in as the automatic door lock needed a battery replacement, but luckily they had a manual key to get in, and had someone out to replace the battery by the morning. Definitely looking forward to our next experience

October family getaway
House is great for familys with kids but, issues listed as problems a number of months ago are still problems. Couch in main living room is still un-sit-able!!! hottub is still under repair and looking like it could be fixed soon after we left!! Smell downstairs never goes away... maybe a good carpet cleaning??
Lots of dishes and cook ware.
Invasion of rolly-polly bugs during our stay. Granddaughter loved picking them up and putting them outside, lol
Upstairs is very light and bright. Location of house is good but very limited view of ocean.

Relaxing just listening to the ocean
Great to just listen to the waves from the decks and the master bedroom. Well stocked kitchen. Family room downstairs needs a carpet cleaning and the grill was not useable. But the open concept main living, the hot tub and listening to those waves made up for it. Easy walk to beach after you get off Logan at 57th - just 2 blocks to Jetty Ave and 2 blocks to the park! Be careful for the half block on Logan though, cars were traveling too fast. Highly recommend this house! Enjoy!!

Family week at the beach
This house was perfect for us with our two teenage sons and friends. Nice furnishings, lovely home and well supplied, very comfortable and homey.
We had a brief problem with plumbing and it was quickly resolved in a very professional manner.

Nice place in need of repair & cleaning
Loved the location and first pass through the house. Then we discovered the strong urine smell in the children's play room. So even with all the fun stuff to do it was yucky to spend time in there even with the windows open. Speaking of windows, several of the window blinds were broken and wouldn't go up or were awkwardly hanging at angles across the window. Very tacky. Then we tried to gather as a family in the upstairs family room where there was another couch so we could all sit together. However the couch looked odd and the cushions were hanging off the edge. Upon moving them we found a sign that said the hideabed was broken! Sitting on the couch was dangerous as the bar from the bed was sticking awkwardly up in the back. So....nowhere for the family to be together in this large and otherwise beautiful house. I paid a lot of money and did NOT expect these kind of problems. The management company seemed interested in addressing the problem but never followed through on their promise to return my call. Again, I do not feel that the nightly charge was appropriate given the caliber of these problems. Renters beware! PS: if you plan on cooking in the kitchen you will find few spices/cooking oils and pans that are badly soiled and unusable. :(

1st. Real Family Vacation
We were able to arrange a family vacation and wanted something special that we could enjoy and recall and review photos with wonderful memories. Well we got it. One major piece of this was this house with all its roominess and amenities, everything worked just grand. The beach was a 5 minute walk down the street and a grand beach it was. We had fun on it during the day and enjoyed evening sunsets by a fire in the evenings then get back to the hot tub and relax.

My family and I felt so comfortable here, all of the space and amenities kept the kids busy and happy! In fact when we were getting ready to pack to leave, we called to see if we could stay another night. The accommodated us and we were so grateful. I would stay here anytime I come to Lincoln City. This is a beautiful home in a marvelous location. It's a perfect house for families with kids of all ages. It's very well maintained, and cozy. It's just steps away to watch the sunset on the beach (which I recommend doing every night) My two complaints are that the hot tub had been drained on our check in day and wasn't ready until night #2. Also, the cleaning lady was still there and working when we arrived at 4 PM. Overall I have every intention of staying here again.

There were separate/private spaces for less active family members and plenty to do inside and outside! short walk to beach, beautifully decorated, very clean and easy instructions for check out.
