Die 3 Zimmer (311,313,331) Die wir hatten/haben, waren Gesundheits Schädlich und Rochen alle extrem nach Urin und starken Putzmittel die unter Umständen Allergien auslösen können !!! Trotz mehrfacher Anfrage des Änderns wurde nicht Reagiert.!!! Auch nach verlangen des Managers wurde nicht Reagiert.!!!!! Ich halte es mir vor gegen das Hotel zu klagen und das Gesundheitsamt zu informieren. Es ist ein Schande so ein Hotel bei Booking.com Anzubieten.

Nice location and good breakfast

Charged us an extra fee than the one we were told to pay according to Booking. It was some tax thing they explained. Also didn’t take credit cards so had to be cash. They should’ve let us know both things before we arrived.

No gusto para nada, está dejado, tiene mal olor las habitaciones y no nos hospedamos la habitación no tenía buena seguridad en la puerta.

wheelchair accesibility is limited around the property. The property is a bit dated. The air condition could not be adjusted in one of the 2 rooms I booked. The door knobs were of concern, but the property is very safe and the staff very accommodating and friendly, so I was not afraid that the door did not appear to fully lock.

no amenities in bathroom at all. no soap. the door entrance to room was broken we slept all night worried we would get mugged or items stolen while we slept.

In the room: The bed, though firm, was comfortable. The bedding was clean. The plumbing all worked and there was warm water to shower and wash long hair. The bathroom fixtures are old but clean. The air conditioning worked making the room temperature comfortable. The balcony is an adequate space to have refreshments and enjoy the amazing view. The refrigerator in the room worked. There is a large closet with plenty of hangers. The property: The location offers a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. It is walking distance to Sosua beach in one direction and the super market in the other and it is surrounded by other quiet properties. Although there is building maintenance ongoing it is not disturbing. The swimming pools are attended to daily and are refreshing. The eating areas take advantage of the view and are not crowded. One evening a pianist played the baby grand. The food was good to very good. We enjoyed the included breakfast buffet and ordered from the lunch and evening menus. The atmosphere is quaint and quiet. We would recommend that you stay here while it is still available. We have the sense that the erosion from the ocean makes pouring money into it not sustainable. Perhaps that is why repairs are minimal.

The room is big, and the bed and the shower are good. The view from the balcony is beautiful. The ppl in the reception are friendly and really trying to be helpful, although there was only one girl who spoke English.

It is an old property and definitely needs a renovation, which, as I understood, they are trying to make slowly slowly. The internet time to time stops to work and then you have to restart it...

The breakfast was fine, lot of options, potable water at the reception, good wifi, close to the beach, however these were the only good things of this hotel.

We do not understand, how this hotel can have 4 stars. We travel a lot around the world, we stayed in many places, this was the one of the worst. We paid USD 131 for the 2 night stay, 3 days - first of all we were charged almost 58 pesos for 1USD, which means 2510 peso for day (the exchange rate anywhere else was 55 pesos/1USD), i.e. different from prices stated on booking. We understand the Dominican republic is close to the USA, however you can charge these prices in case you can´t provide the adequate service. Our room was obviously not maintained, the room was close to the supply location, i.e. we had a "great view" to its gate and we were woken up each morning at 7AM by the staff working there. The hotel is maintained just from the front side. The staff is not English speaking, only the reception speaks English, not the waitresses. The shower was broken, it was fixed by the wrap from toilet paper, the water was gushing everywhere, so the floor was totally messy after having the shower. The maid came early at the morning, so we stated not to disturb at that moment, however she did not come back later and the floor stayed messy for the whole stay. The walls are broken, the equipment damaged, no hairdryer, dirty coffeemaker. We had a dinner one night, the meat was burnt, the non alcoholic mojito was charged as alcoholic, however the staff said it is the same price despite what is stated in menu (above this the prices do not include 10% trip they charge automatically and tax 18% - this is charged everywhere in tourist part in Sosua, no matter you did not like the service). As it took (only) over the hour to prepare the sandwiches, we did not claimed that, because we did not want to wait another hour. We did not claimed the other problems as we saw the hotel do not care and is not willing to solve anything.
