'Just in the Moment' Quaint Cottage Near Historic New Bern
** Questa proprietà ha subito alcuni danni dall'uragano Florence, ma tutto è tornato a com'era. Sono stato davvero fortunato a poter continuare ad andare avanti. Sta aspettando con ansia i visitatori vecchi e nuovi!**
Il cottage si trova in un piccolo villaggio proprio di fronte al fiume Neuse dal centro di New Bern. In fondo alla strada c'è il nuovo porto turistico di Bridgetown. Questa accogliente casa è stata costruita negli anni '50 ed è stata aggiornata con tutti i comfort moderni. È stato decorato con un tema da spiaggia "shabby chic". Si può godere di un portico sole con un'altalena portico amaca Nags Head e sedie a dondolo. Perfetto per rilassarsi, leggere un buon libro o ascoltare musica.
Sei a pochi passi dal fiume o puoi usare una delle biciclette fornite. ** Novità di questa stagione: kayak da utilizzare sul fiume ** Troverai un ponte coperto con tavolo da picnic e griglia a gas per cucinare i tuoi pasti serali. All'interno, la casa dispone di 2 ampie camere da letto, una con un letto matrimoniale e una con un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli. Ogni camera offre TV collegata via cavo. We loved our stay here. We didn’t have to bring anything. They cover all the little things. We loved New Bern shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for the great experience.

We brought our dogs on the trip and from the pictures I couldn't tell if the yard was fully enclosed. It definitely was, which was perfect! Also the back deck is a great hangout spot. Has a massive fan that keeps you cool and the mosquitos away.

This place was awesome! And super close to our family who had just moved to the area. We have 2 dogs and they were very comfortable and the yard was great for them! Super close walk to an adorable little park too! And very close to downtown new Bern! When we come back we want to stay here again!

We have been wanting to visit New Bern and we found this place it was clean and comfortable. We stayed out back on the porch with the fan blowing and just relaxing. It was a short walk to the water and enjoyed the cool air blowing on us.

We have a great 3 night stay in this cute home just a few miles outside of New Bern. Perfectly situated for our needs. A wonderful home to stay in. Highly recommended.

We were in town to visit family nearby, so it was a perfect spot for our needs. House was clean and well equipped, had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable, loved having a recliner in the living room to relax in after a long day at the NC Seafood Festival. Had no issues during our stay, so didn't have to contact the owners, which is a good thing. All in all, would definitely stay again.

My Mom and I take a trip to this area twice a year to visit all the fun antique stores and eat at our favorite restaurants! We truly loved staying at this cottage in Bridgeton. The house was roomy and we loved having two bathrooms. The couch was so comfy for watching TV after a long day of exploring. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch. The beds were comfy too. The neighborhood of historic houses was so quaint and we enjoyed our morning walks along the sidewalks. The lovely view of the river was also nice. We hope to stay again in December!

Started mornings with coffee relaxing on the front porch. Nicely decorated Craftsman in peaceful neighborhood. Back porch with fenced in yard fully appreciated as we had our grandpup with us. I loved using one of the bikes to pedal to family member’s house. Owner quickly responsive and friendly. Bridgeton is a cool small town on the water which the photographer in the family took to full advantage.

3 days of rain but still good--we've been to New Bern many times and know this location is convenient to DT and other day trip locations. The fenced yard, covered deck were ideal for both us and our small dog, very nice kitchen with everything provided and more.

This house was perfect for my husband, our 2 dogs & me. It is in a very quiet little neighborhood an easy 10 minute drive into New Bern. The owner has it completely stocked with all the basics you could possibly need & some not so basics (thanks for the wine). The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, including a large selection of spices, cooking spray, oils, etc.
Because of the dogs we really appreciated the fenced in yard. We also loved the little park across the street. It has a gazebo looking out to the river with a beautiful view. We went over three nights with a bottle of wine & enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets.
We had one small issue with a circuit breaker tripping for the range & Mickey had it fixed within an hour. We would definitely book this house again - maybe next year for the ghost tour.

This cottage’s exterior was freshly painted and had everything one could want in ample supply. The renovated kitchen and larger bathroom were nicely done and clean. The back porch furniture needed cleaning and a new tablecloth. The wall to wall carpeting was showing its age. Though there were some charming decorative touches, the cottage was overwhelmed with the number of Knick knacks on every surface. We were grateful for the fenced yard for our dog and the nearby riverside park.

The house was clean and private with good off street parking. Everything worked well, and the neighbors where wonderful. We wanted for nothing. Bridgeton is a quite sleepy town with quick access to New Bern’s down town and shopping districts.

This is a well loved and cared for home. My husband and I and our small dog traveled with another couple and were very happy with our accommodations. Everything was as described and much more. This house is nestled in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. Our dog enjoyed walking the neighborhood and playing in the yard at the home. The weather was unseasonably warm and we were able to enjoy eating outside under the porch and grilling. It is just over the bridge from New Bern and it is an easy drive. We all agreed that our experience here was wonderful and it allowed us to really be able to spend time together and was so much better than staying in a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!
