We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The unobstructed views of Hanalei Bay from right outside on the back porch could not be beat! Sitting out there watching the sunsets was one of the highlights of our trip. It was absolutely stunning! The condo was very clean, roomy, and comfortable for our group of 7. It was one of the absolute best places I've ever stayed.

The condo was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and the automatic coffee maker with high quality coffee that was supplied was a nice surprise. The view from the back patio is as nice as any view you will ever have. Would definitely stay here again.

Waking up to stunning views of Hanalei Bay and the surrounding mountains every day was amazing!! The walk from the parking lot is a little far, but it provided the best views!! We could not have been any more comfortable! Loved every minute!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei Bay Resort. We rented all three units, and they were spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week’s stay. The highlight, however, was the view. It is even more impressive than the pictures, and you have a perfect vantage point to watch the gorgeous sunsets. It was difficult to motivate the family to leave the unit to head into town for dinner. We also enjoyed walking to the beach, playing tennis and the pool. Thank you for a memorable week!

Beautiful property! Very spacious. Bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful. The kitchen was lovely and stocked perfectly. The view from the lani was incredible! We thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee and sunset cocktails on the lani. The resort is elegant and the staff are attentive, friendly, and professional. Definitely hope to return someday!

The condo was great for our family. The view could not have been better! The host was so helpful prior to our stay. The “resort” was quite bad. The pool was not heated, I think I saw 10 people in the pool during our 2 week stay. The restaurant appeared to have nothing to do with the resort, I tried to take a drink to the pool, but was not allowed. I was even charged a check in fee…never heard of that one before! Summary, nice room, lousy resort!

This is a beautiful property and condo. The owner is super responsive and flexible and the condo is clean, well-stocked and spacious. The view is incredible. My only notes are that the beach is a hike, small and no amenities. And the swim up bar is not open.

The view is the highlight for this condo. Room arrangements worked out well for our group. Parking arrangement is a big negative. Also the add on charges for parking and even more taxes were not mentioned in our contract.

Without a doubt, this gorgeous home in Princeville was the setting for the perfect week in Kauai. We stayed here with our extended family, with other members in condos also on the property. This home was the hub of entertaining for our family of 10, with 6 of us comfortably staying in this property. Every room was well appointed and shared the view that represents Hawaii to me...if you did nothing else but sit on the patio and watch that view for a week you'd be happy! Lots of bird visitors right on the grass and truly magical rainbows almost every morning.
The common spaces were plush and comfortable for a large family. The kitchen is outstanding and honestly we adored the gourmet coffee maker so much I bought one when I got home! Laundry machines were a great help, as this was week two of our vacation.
Our hosts were responsive and helpful, though really didn't need to bother them because clear instructions left for everything. The amenities of the resort are a great addition. We had two folks with mobility challenges this trip, and having the golf cart available to get us to the car and to beach, etc. was handy.
We will be back in coming years. It would be an amazing place to celebrate the holidays with your family and I hope my own sometime in the future. I'd go back tomorrow if I could.
Don't hesitate to book this property...totally worth every penny!

This property is AMAZING! From the moment we walked into the door the views were on point! Everything was luxurious from the furnishings, decor, to the appliances! We felt so private and tucked away to the best room on the property! So clean and comfortable! You thought of everything here and went above and beyond to make your guests feel at home! Providing beach gear, chairs, coolers, binoculars were the perfect extra perks that we thoroughly enjoyed. We will absolutely stay here again and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating! It has all the comforts of home, with special touches throughout, that made the stay magical and unforgettable. Wonderful stay
The views are Absolutely amazing. There was a lot of room for the six of us to be very comfortable. Owners were super helpful in allowing us to check in early and check out late. The only negative was that the restaurant and bar were closed due to Covid. Everything else was completely amazing.

Location, location, location....
Wow, what can I say. This is a wonderful spot with epic views. You can walk down the path to the beach, all the amenities you need such as beach cooler, beach chairs and even a wagon is provided! Next trip we will be sure and bring a few kitchen items that we would have liked such as wine glasses, tongs, and items for those who want to cook. If you eat out every night then no worries. Hosts were great communicators and so pleasant to work with. The decor was so fun, it was like living in a Tiki Hut! I highly recommend this home.

Million dollar view
Our family of 5 (2 parents, 1 young adult, 2 teens) took our first trip to Kauai a few weeks ago and we couldn't have chosen a better location. You can just sit and watch the views of Hanalei Bay and Bali Hai all day as the light changes. That said, there's plenty more to do at the resort and in the area - you can walk to Pu'u Poa Beach (and catch a lift back up the hill from the golf carts if you want), enjoy the gorgeous pool and swim-up bar, have dinner with a view at Happy Talk (which opened up again post-Covid while we were there) and of course, drive to other amazing locations on the north shore (don't miss seeing the Napali coast by boat and/or helicopter). We spent 2 weeks on Kauai - the first week at this property and the 2nd in Poipu and while we enjoyed seeing both sides and had fun in Poipu, there's no contest that the north side is the most beautiful. Hope to go back some day.

Incredible views with epic sunsets
If you're looking for a spot to catch epic sunsets, this is the place. Best location at Hanalei Bay Resort with views of the northern mountains and hanalei bay. The grass lawn is a great place for kids to play or just hang out and relax. The walk down to the beach winds through a vegetated creek with paved path and golf cart service. The resort pool was perfect with a swim up bar for the adults and a sanded pool for the little ones. Andy was extremely responsive and helped us when the resort staff couldn't. We will be coming back for years to come.

Perfect Views
The condo is located on the Hanalei Bay Resort property. My husband and I rented all 3 units (#9101, #9102, and #9103. We stayed for 3 nights in May.
Location: I only book rentals with a view and this one was one of the best we’ve had! We found ourselves just hanging out on the back patio looking out at Bali Hai and the ocean. There’s a view from every room in the unit. I also loved that this condo was towards the back of the property. It was really private and quiet. Only 2 down sides with the location: 1)The local beach isn’t really swimmable. The beach next to the rental is sandy and has shade but there are lots of rocks and coral so it’s a bit hard to get out and swim. It is a nice beach though. The hotel staff will drive you in a golf cart to the beach though bc the path is a little steep. They will also pick you up from the beach. They have a phone down there for you to call them. Super convenient.
2) The actual resort is pretty outdated. Pool scene wasn’t great for couples, but definitely good for families. The grounds are clean though and the staff are really really nice.
Layout: These units are adjoining. Unit 9102 has the living room, kitchen and dining areas and it’s in the middle of the 3 units. Unit 9101 is a 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms and has no kitchen or living room. Unit 9103 is a 1 bed room 1 bathroom and has no kitchen or living room. I’m not sure why we had to book all 3 units. We would have been good with just 9101 and 9102. Either way, it’s a nice layout. All 3 units together would be totally comfortable for 6 adults. I always pay attention to seating arrangements in the living room and I was really happy with the furniture in this place. There was a comfy sectional and a few arm chairs, so even if we had a larger party, we would have been comfortable. (A lot of rentals do t pay attention to this detail and have 1 couch for a 6 person rental.)
Cleanliness: I’m a neat freak and I felt this unit was nice and clean. Definitely outdated bathrooms, but well kept. There was a little damp smell when you first walk in, but once you air everything out it goes away.
Stocked: Well stocked. Had everything I needed to bake and cook. Stove is electric, but that most places in Hawaii. Wine glasses could have been better, but I’m sure people break things all the time. Had enough towels. They also provided 4 beach chairs a wagon and an umbrella.
Overall, I would totally come back with my family. We had a lovely stay.

Great Surf and Sunset View!
Wow - what a stunning view from this large condo unit! We watched surfers and sunsets every day. We thoroughly enjoyed the unit itself, the awesome view, the large tropical style pool and hot tub and the wonderful and festive restaurant connected to this property. The unit was well furnished and very clean with no visible damage or worn items. The beddings were very nice and the large bedrooms and bathrooms were a huge plus. The owners Becky and Andy were VERY accommodating and communicative on every issue. They deserve the 5 star ratings they get for this property.

North Shore Beauty
Our group of 8 loved our stay! The condo location and views can't be beat. Morning coffee looking out at the ocean and cliffs was spectacular. There's a pool in the resort and plenty of tennis courts. The walk down to the beach was a quick 5 minutes. We loved all of the amenities and hope to be back again for the views!

Perfect stay in paradise for our family
I have nothing bad to say at all about this property. We had an amazing stay and loved the condo/resort. It would be hard to find a better view of Hanalei Bay than what you see from the back patio. It was comfortable, well furnished and quiet. The condo made our time in Kauai even better. Great place!
