Bob's Balcony Lovedale
Soggiorno nel cuore del distretto del vino Lovedale. Rilassati nella nostra confortevole casa indipendente con 4 camere da letto, dove viene fornito tutto. Tutto quello che devi portare è te stesso e un po 'di buona compagnia. La casa si trova su 20 acri con una vista mozzafiato sulla Hunter Valley. La proprietà ospita anche un secondo cottage con due camere da letto e un residence.

Booked for a family of four adults - very comfortable and relaxing. Stunning view from the verandah. Private. Booked for the weekend as we were attending a function at Jimmy Joans. A perfect stay. Thank you.

4 good size rooms with big comfy beds. The pool was lovely on the hot day we were there. Kitchen well stocked (although we didn’t cook anything). 2 clean bathrooms. Great little restaurant just down the hill.
The staircase to get downstairs could be tricky if you were older or had trouble with joints. The bathroom downstairs just needs a little adjustment too so the door isn’t noisy in the night.
We also met the owner who was very friendly.

From the moment we arrived till we left it felt like we were at home.
Going up the long driveway we were greeted by the kangaroos and local birds. The home was really cozy and clean with all the essentials needed to feel at home. Mick and Kim were very helpful with any queries and were accomodating with early check in and late checkout and even a jump start when the car battery died when leaving! Thanks Mick you’re a gentlemen.
Jimmy Joans, a family run cafe and bar at the entry to the property is a must with great service and amazing coffee.
Highly recommend this property for adult stays and families all the same. Thanks for an awesome weekend!

A perfect place to catch up with friends, take walks, visit nearby food wine & coffee places & chat/sing around the 🔥

Relaxing family time
Great sized pool with large lawn areas for a game of cricket or battle blocks. Walking distance or a short drive to many vineyards. Very comfortable and spacious living area, with of course a great balcony with a expansive views over the area.
Highly recommended.

Bobs Lovedale
Great property for two families to get away for a short break. Fenced pool was great for the kids and all the guests enjoyed the property’s charm in comfort. The front terrace was a treat for sunset, taking in an awesome changing view of the Hunter with drinks. Kim was a great host, the kids loved seeing all the resident animals/wildlife and Wandin winery was just down the road. Very happy to return in the near future.

Excellent accommodation for group of friends/couples
We stayed at Bob’s Balcony and were very happy with our accommodation. The grounds and accommodation were beautifully maintained, clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony is spectacular.
The shared pool was lovely and no issue.
There are a number of wineries and restaurants in close proximity however the kitchen is also quite well equipped for self catering.
Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts.

Wonderful Property
We absolutely loved our stay at the property! The location was perfect the property was fully equipped with everything we needed. The communication with Kim was on point. Was lovely to see the kangaroos, friendly horse and amazing views surrounding the property! We will definitely book again in the future! All round AMAZING stay at the property, thank you :)!

This place is comfortable, well-stocked, quiet, peaceful and picturesque. Close to attractions as well as surrounded by nature. Very enjoyable and easy to relax!

Great views and perfect for a big group
This was my first time going to the Hunter with a group and i like my space, so it was great to have so many little break out areas - 2x balconies upstairs, a grassy area out the front, balcony downstairs and a pool area. It was great for a group. We used the bbq, pool, walked around the property, and enjoyed the property to its fullest. We loved how the neighbours dog came to visit, fresh eggs from the chickens. We will be back!

So relaxing!
We had a wonderful week at Bob’s. So conveniently located in the Hunter and a great property for families.
The kids enjoyed the pool, and the open grassed areas were perfect for a game of afternoon cricket.
The views from the verandah are amazing, so relaxing to sit and read a book or enjoy a morning cuppa as the hot air balloons float overhead. We already miss our morning and afternoon strolls down the long driveway seeing their resident horse, kangaroo and ducks along the way.
The grounds are well maintained, and we loved the quirky succulent and cactus displays out of old vintage cars.
The house was very well equipped and clean and Kim was ever so helpful and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect location

Beautiful Weekend Escape
Bob’s balcony was the perfect stay for a weekend in the hunter valley. The accomodation was really nice and the location was so close to the vineyards and on a gorgeous estate! Loved it!

Amazing, convenient stay! So easy to deal with! We loved it for a concert at the hunter!
Such a convenient location. We came up for a concert at Hope Estate. We were advised by the owner that there was a bus that picked you up from the end of the driveway. So easy’!
The house is amazing - perfect & spacious for a bunch of friends or two families.
We came during a 40 degree day, so made the most of the pool.

Weekend away with friends
The property was fun and quirky, neat tidy and had all the essentials.
Loved the vibe and relaxed feel of the place.
Having the pool there to use was fantastic, however it really could have had a clean or a creepy crawly through it to make it more appealing to use.
Short trips to local vineyards and the amazing balcony overlooking the property with friends around a wine barrel bar table was a perfect setting.
Thankyou for having us and we will be booking here again as it was great.

Cozy retreat in a tranquil location
Bobs Balcony was everything we needed for a weekend away with family & friends. Perfect set up , peaceful & picturesque & close to all wineries. Will definitely be back .

Pre-wedding Stay
Myself and my groomsmen stayed at Bob’s Balcony the night before my wedding. The property was exactly what I thought I was getting. A nice and spacious little hideaway in the Hunter Valley with a pool and bbq facilities. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable.
The groomsmen and their partners all stayed there again the night of the wedding and no complaints from any of the guests.
Would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate in referring anyone else to stay there.

Excellent property and location
Bobs Balcony is an excellent, no fuss property. We enjoyed the fireplace, which warmed the whole property on a chiller winters evening. Great location with lovely sunset views and close to all the sights of the HV.

Relaxing stay
A perfect location for a weekend getaway for 2 families (4 adults, 3 kids). The views are spectacular, the kitchen was well equipped and the house was very clean. We loved the wood fire. Our only disappointment was the stayz listing said there were 2 x beds in one room and this was not correct. Also the bbq had not been cleaned before our arrival so we were unable to use it.

Our lovedale weekend
Gorgeous house and property, which accommodated 8 ladies very well. Everyone loved the house and want to return next year. The extra touches of having staples in the kitchen made everything so much easier. Plus loved the dogs.

Lovely Property
Spent a lovely weekend at Bob’s Balcony. Nice clean and well presented house that catered for all our needs. Great set up with enough beds for us all with 2 bathrooms, everthing we needed in the kitchen, good seating around the table, BBQ, pool, comfortable lounge, games, DVDs.

Bob's Balcony is situated on a beautiful property with fantastic views. The house is very comfortable and the pool is a huge plus. We loved the old world character of the house and we enjoyed our stay there.
