My youngest son and I made our trip the Medina area and was able to stay at this location. Couldn't have asked for a better centralized location to the waterfowl hunting we planned for the week. The cabin was exactly as described. I highly recommend this location.

We had a wonderful stay at the campfire cabin! It was spacious enough for the 4 of us with 2 dogs, and we had awesome views of the prairie during sunrise/sunset. We came out to do some grouse hunting and had decent luck finding them in the area. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some comfy lawn chairs for the living room if you plan to relax in front of the TV at all. The dining room table is really the only spot to unwind in the living room, and the chairs can be a little uncomfortable after a full day of hunting. Other than that, I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be back to the campfire cabin in the future!

The wife and I brought our two dogs and stayed a couple nights with no issues. Gorgeous house and property. Even took our canoe out on the pond. No interactions with the local dog as others have stated.

The cabin was cozy, but the furniture downstairs where the tv was - were a bit uncomfortable. Definitely not a place for groups who want to chill with the tv for long periods of time. Location was beautiful!

We was looking for a place to get away from the city for a few days. It is too bad that this one is so far away. If it was closer to Omaha it could become a routine to get out of town. We wanted quiet and no phones and this was the perfect place. Bella and Oreo were pleasant to be around and a friendly face from Oreo was nice every morning. You will see us again!

This is our second year as a siblings retreat/getaway. This cabin is within our budget, within our state, and the scenery here is absolutely beautiful. The cabin inside meets all of our expectations with the exception of another bathroom would be awesome! But we make it work by taking turns-an easy fix. We will be back for our third year next July. Nice quaint place to stay for sure!

This is a great peaceful place on a small lake. It was so quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend!

My husband and I were looking for a nice quiet place to spend some time that was dog friendly. The views were awesome and the bird watching was great. The dogs enjoyed swimming in the slough and playing fetch in the yard. It was a nice relaxing time.

Quiet relaxing mini family vacation. Very clean and cozy cabin with everything you need.

This was the most beautiful location in a perfect cabin that had everything it needed. The bonfire was great with wood available and easy access to the area to sit and enjoy the water view. There is a big deck that you can sit on and stargaze. The kitchen had everything it needed to cook a good meal and plenty of seating. Not to mention the washer and dryer was excellent to have. I will be back :)

This is a nice cabin with lots of space. Great for a family or just a couple. Would definately recommend!

All was as advertised. Nice new cabin surrounded by the sounds of nature. I had a great stay!

Worked out great. Visited family and road a little side by side to other communities. Had to use highways due to snow, water, and mud but all worked out

Everything was just as pictured, super quaint inside the cabin! There was a sweet, but unexpected, yellow lab roaming the property and wanting attention, and dog droppings around the cabin’s porch and parking spot. We have a dog too, and if I knew there was a loose dog around we wouldn’t have stayed here. But the cabin itself is really nice; quiet and scenic.

We loved our stay. Beautiful views. There's a friendly dog that was always happy to see us.

This was our 3rd stay at this cabin and we will continue to return and use this cabin.

Time with friends.

We stayed for Christmas, check-in was on 12/21 and we left on 1/1. The place will take you back in time, with deer as far as the eye can see just walking the hills. Sweet location between two larger towns and the charm of all you could ask for. My wife, two girls 5, 7 and myself will rebook in 2023.

My husband and a friend went up there to ice fish. Unfortunately the blizzard hit and they were stuck at the house. David had everything cleared out for them so they could pull in and was very accommodating with weather updates. He was very responsive for them needing to stay an extra night due to the roads being closed, the guys did go out on the pond behind the house and said it would’ve been perfect. If the conditions were better would’ve been a great place but mother nature sometimes doesn’t agree.

Campfire cabin was so warm and cozy. Exactly what I was looking for. Can't wait to visit again when the weather allows for time outside with the firepit.

We were in the Medina area for a family wedding. The Campfire Cabin is a beautiful place to stay. Right on the waters edge. Perfect for our family of 4. Very neat and clean. Weren't sure about the dog to begin with, but she was very friendly and got along great with our corgi. We love the hominess of staying at places like this over hotels.

This cabin was on a lakefront with a sitting area that allowed for watching the birds and the wind in the bulrushes. The cabin was clean, neat, and pleasantly cool when we arrived. We had a pleasant stay and truly enjoyed our time there. Already looking at trying to plan another stay when our schedules allow.

Just a quick overnight stop on cross country trip. Arrived at sunset to peaceful lake and greeting from the friendly Labrador (who really wanted to visit with my dog). Cabin was easy to check in to but uncomfortably warm as you cannot open windows downstairs except for the one in bedroom which is small. I ended up moving fan into master bedroom but it was very noisy. I did not discover the small air conditioner in loft until the middle of the night but it did not really cool downstairs. Would be good to leave instructions about it on table or something. Would also be nice to provide some shower soap/shampoo perhaps? But a lovely location for very reasonable price. Good birdwatching. Ate breakfast at the Medina cafe cooked by the nice ladies.
