Such a beautiful property! Very clean & well furnished. The location is easily accessible from the highway and while secluded, it's quick to get into town. Our two labs loved running the trails every morning and resting on the shaded back porch in the shade of the day, and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces too. We loved the separate bedrooms downstairs & upstairs to give each couple(one early risers, one late) their own bathroom & space. The basement is definitely chillier than the upstairs, if that helps other guests plan bedrooms. The tiniest suggestion: a hook on the wall or beam in the basement bedroom would be great for handing full length dresses since the wardrobe is shorter. If it worked with our schedules to come back every year we would! Thank you!

Boyer Cabin is perfect! My family stayed here for a week and absolutely lived it. The property is clean, peaceful and just a great place to unwind. It is close to everything you want to do but away from it all at the same time.

This beautiful 3 bedroom log cabin in the woods was perfect for our group to enjoy a week in Door County, WI. Comfortable beds and pillows made for good sleeping. Lots of space allowed us to do different activities without affecting others. Saw deer while walking the trails in the woods. Large, well appointed kitchen was enjoyed by all (2 retired couples who love to cook and entertain). Many thanks to our host for quick adjustment of fee after we decided to leave the dog at home. While leaving, we all agreed we would love to come back next year and do it all again!

This is a beautiful and peaceful area, and away from the busier areas of Door County. The home was as advertised. It would easily and comfortably sleep 6.
If you are a senior citizen or have trouble with steps, be advised that most of the living spaces require using steps or walking through the yard.
The host was very fast to respond when booking. Directions for check in and out were clear and easy to follow. We did not need to communicate during the stay. We appreciated the fact that it was dog friendly and very private.

Myself, husband, two kids, and my parents had a wonderful getaway to this great property. We enjoyed walking the trails each morning, and exploring Door County during the day, having a nice and cozy cabin to retreat to at night. The cabin was the perfect size for our group. I love that there is a bathroom located on each floor. It was easy to access but far enough away from the main stretch. Thanks for an amazing stay!

This was the second time we stayed here over Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. The beauty of the house and the surroundings made it very sereal, idilic and peaceful. We had a great time.

Beautiful area and unfortunately due to weather did not get to do hiking as we planned.
We did enjoy the fireplace both inside and out.
I would recommend updating lighting in the living room for those wanting early morning or late night reading.

Great location outside of Egg Harbor, and tucked back in the woods. Clean cabin with all the essentials except towels. Would definitely stay here again.

The Boyer Cabin is beyond beautiful and perfect location in rural Egg Harbor for everything we like to do. Everything is perfectly appointed (need a ladle for soup in the kitchen) and wonderfully clean. We had a slight plumbing emergency but Becky answered right away and worked to find a plumber to come when we would be there - no interruption to our stay. Our dog Toby enjoyed the yard and the quiet. At his age naps are important and we all got them in during our 10 day stay! Unplugged and Relaxed - exactly what we wanted. Our only drawback was the stairs. We weren’t prepared to haul everything in up 1-2 flights of stairs (loved the King bed w/en-suite) Will pack differently next time or stay in one of their other homes in Door. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us!

This place is secluded enough to give a woodsy cabin experience but close enough to everything to be able to go out during the day and not waste half your time driving. Loved our stay but also would love to check out your other properties too!

Our stay at this cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and the walking path at the Land Trust right across the road. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was a great location for us to explore the peninsula!

The first comment I made was that this cabin was even better (bigger, prettier, great layout) than the photos depict. We enjoyed a fabulous week. I would say plan ahead to have your warm blooded guests stay in the lowest level (queen bed) as it does stay pretty chilly, but is manageable and there is plenty of other awesome space to hang out. Beautiful grounds, great long covered deck to chill out on, cozy and spacious family room opening to large dining table, huge primary suite, etc. And dog friendly to boot, which is a must for us. We did lots of exploring around Door County, and it was the perfect space to come back to.

The Boyer Log Cabin was perfect for our stay in Door County. The location is wonderful. Just a few minutes to downtown Egg Harbor -- but it feels like a million miles away. Gorgeous cabin and property. Immaculately clean, well-stocked and a perfect place to return after a busy day of DC activities. I would highly recommend this property!

The Boyer log home is a comfortable, well appointed, spacious place to stay in Door County. The home is very clean and well maintained. Due to the smoky conditions the week we were here, we spent a lot of time indoors and it was so nice to be at such a wonderful property.

I drove up from Florida and wanted a Door County getaway with my Wisconsin family. This beautiful 3 bedroom/3 bathroom log cabin was perfect. Each of my 4 siblings and spouses spent two nights with me, which allowed more quality time than if everyone came at once as I had initially planned. The hosts were very responsive and we enjoyed walking the trails with my mini Aussie. We will be back :)

Stayed here with my parents-in-law, wife, and our dog for a long weekend in February. The property has some trails in the back that are perfect for morning dog walks. The fireplace was great to sit beside and watch it snow. Everything was clean and picked up when we got there. Really nice place; hoping to have a chance to stay there again.

House was very clean and well stocked with most things you could want especially in the kitchen. Clean and spacious house for 3 couples. Good central location for Door County and quiet property with awesome fireplace.

We were looking for a new family experience to make some new family holiday traditions. We had a wonderful time crossing country skiing, sledding with our toddler, hiking, ect… snowed the first few days we were up there and really helped it feel like the holidays. Daytime fun out in the snow and cozy evenings inside by the fireplace. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our third visit to the Boyer Log Cabin. Our long weekend spent there was a chance for our family to all gather in one lovely place and just spend quality time together. We cook, play games and enjoy being able to bring our dog who probably loves the walks in the beautiful woods more than the humans do. In the late fall this is just a great place to hunker down with our grown kids and regroup. What could be better than that?

Becky was wonderful. Very responsive. The property had all the amenities you needed to enjoy a very relaxing gathering with family. The trails were used frequently for walks throughout the day. Made a family vacation very enjoyable and memorable.

A wonderful stay was had by all. Reminded us and our children of our lake log home we had built and then eventually sold. They grew up in this home so it was a treat to stay in a home that was similar. The amenities were great. Nice, clean dishes, utensils, pots, etc. In the past years coming for Fall fest, we’ve found several places that had cheap, dirty kitchenware. (Oven could’ve been clean though) I own a janitorial cleaning business, so I’m very picky and have high expectations.

The cabin was very nice. There were three floors and three baths. Inside clean and bathrooms updated. Given we stayed in early fall, the ac and heat were not needed. As a result, the lower level had a musty smell felt damp. Running the ac or heat would have been the solution but was not needed on the two upper floors. A dehumidifier is another consideration for lower level in summer months.

Away from the crowds in town yet easy to travel to all the great sites, restaurants and parks. One of the best equipped kitchens of all the VBROs we have stayed at. Enjoyed the preserve right across the road as well as the trails on the property. Spent down time on the porch with our dog.

We had such a wonderful time at the cabin and will definitely come back some day. We enjoyed every minute! The cabin is very roomy and decorated so cute. The weather was gorgeous and we loved having the windows open so we could hear the birds during the day and the crickets at night. We enjoyed exploring the property and the land trust nearby.

The home has a warm and welcoming vibe with amenities that appeal to all. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooked numerous family meals in the well-stocked (tools and utensils) kitchen!and played games at the family table. We felt at home in Door County and would not change a thing about our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at the Boyer cabin. The grounds and cabin were beautiful and relaxing. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Becky was absolutely amazing to work with!! We would definitely rent from her again. Our stay was absolutely perfect!

We enjoyed all the space indoor and out. All the amenities inside and so much nature outside! Short drive to the rest of Door County’s activities.
