We all had a great time relaxing w friends and family. Everyone enjoyed the big outdoor area, swimming in the pool & kayaking on the river. Lots of space to entertain, needs a few more outdoor chairs. Beds were comfortable, AC worked great, the kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, etc, it's outdated but worked fine for a short week (only wish the pullout couch was in the downstairs area) Host was helpful with all my questions I would love to come back again

This house was absolutely awesome and fit our family so well. The pool was a huge hit with the kids, great location for kayaking to hospital hole and rogers park. The house had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. Owner was quick to answer messages and check in was flawless. Highly recommend to anyone visiting weeki wachee and it’s so close to so many places for day trips BONUS

It was a very lovely place great location. The pool was dirty when we got there but the owner was quick to respond to come and get it cleaned. The bunk beds in the one room is only for very small children not very stable. I wish it had bunk beds in the downstairs part or even a sofa bed that would be a nice plus. There is a TV in the master bedroom but the other two bedrooms do not have TVs it would be nice if they did. The home is a little outdated and definitely needs new pots and pans but other than that the home is very nice and I would consider staying there again.

This is one of the best property’s we’ve ever stayed at. It’s perfectly located on 2 canals with a beautiful private pool.

We stayed during the beginning of April. This property's location is just fantastic. It borders 2 canals which we loved watching the manatees swim through each morning either from the screened in deck or while sitting on the dock. The house is large and has plenty of room for the family to spread out and enjoy time together. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Beds were comfortable. The fenced yard is large, well maintained and will accommodate your dogs (our new dog has chewing issues so we did not bring ours). The pool is great. There is a ramp to launch kayaks and also makes returning and exiting the kayaks very easy. It is not far from many parks and other sites that were fun to visit. Plenty of great restaurants nearby also. We had a great time and the home just made our trip very relaxing.

We have been coming to this property for 8 years. It is a great fit for my family. They love the access to the river but then being able to come back and jump in the pool!!

The house and location was awesome! The Weeki Watchee River was just beautiful, we really enjoyed it!! We will be back 😊

this house overall was perfect. was in a great neighborhood. we went kayaking which we never did before. they had everything u needed. i would definitely book this place again.

Perfect place for enjoying the manatees. Plenty of beautiful, shallow and clear river for kayaking and so close to hospital hole where there were so many manatee to enjoy! Close to many great local restaurants and the usual chains if that’s your thing. We chartered a fishing trip with Aaron Hefty from Ozella and caught lots of trout, mackerel and sheepshead…all good eating!! Be sure to drop by NJOY a local distillery for live music, food and brews. This area was a great find!! We would definitely come back!

Had a great week at this property. Great location for fishing and kayaking. House is functional but dated, however you won't spend much time inside at this house, there is too much to do outside!

We finally got to stay in this house after passing it for 4 years! It did not disappoint! We might try to book it in the summer time too so we can enjoy the pool as well. Great place!

Love the setup

We spent a full week and absolutely loved the location of this rental house! We put our kayaks in the water right in the backyard and also drove less than ten minutes to Weeki Wachee park and have lovely two hour floats/light paddles back to the house. The home had everything we needed during our trip, and we cook a lot! We also got delivery so it was great to be close enough for that convenience. The mattresses were comfortable and we all slept well. This house had plenty of seating for five grown adults to comfortably watch movies together in the living room. This is effectively a “corner” lot so we had plenty of space for our pups to run around. The property is bordered by shrubs, fence, and water on all sides. The screened in porch was also something we enjoyed as the weather allowed for dining and playing card games on the outdoor table. There are definitely more recently renovated homes available for rent, but they’re priced accordingly. You can certainly find rentals that are much more modern and have more visual appeal, and they will be twice the price! We loved it and would go back!

Great location. Spacious clean rooms. Such a wonderful house to stay at and kayak around the canals! Can’t wait to come back

Megs does a great job of making sure you have everything you need. The riverhouse was comfortable, clean and very accommodating. There were plenty of kayaks, towels, sheets and kitchen accessories. We saw plenty of manatees and enjoyed our morning kayak rides. It was a great way to start the day. Lounging in the pool afterward was the cherry on top. Thank you so much. We would love to rent your beautiful riverhouse again in the future.

We had a great time at this property! Our friends meet annually and this was a perfect spot for our group of eight. Off the main channel so nice and quiet, loved getting to enjoy the pool after a day out on the ocean. Our group enjoyed the lounge space downstairs and pool and game in the evenings. We did set up an air mattress so none of the adults had to sleep on the bunkbeds. Worked perfectly

This is our 2nd stay at this vacation home and we love the place! Plenty of room for our family with a swimming pool for the kids! Love sitting on the upstairs porch for morning coffee. This home has a boat dock area that has plenty of room for our Pontoon boat. The home owners are wonderful as well. We will stay here again ❤️

Our family and friends enjoyed this place. We saw many Manatees, one day for about 3 hours there was 13 of them in the front it was amazing to see. We used the kayaks almost everyday! The Pool was amazing!

Wonderful property! Saw manatees right from the dock good fishing fun kayaking. Took 20 minutes to get to gulf at idle speed but a beautiful ride out! Owners were easy to talk to. Will be back!

We had a great time staying at this vacation home. Right on the water, the property was perfect! We loved everything about the home and property. The fenced in yard for the dog to run was so nice. The pool was awesome. The patio and deck were great and the house had everything needed for a wonderful stay! Kayaking and seeing all the nature including so many manatee was so much fun! We would definitely love to come back again sometime!

Manatee Playground was all that we expected, and so much more! The house is spacious, and we loved the huge screened-in second level porch. We enjoyed watching kayakers and paddleboarders go by, and were thrilled and awed to see manatee gliding through the waters right past the house almost daily! We braved the chilly swimming pool, once, just because it was there and to get some great pictures. The yard is big and beautiful, fenced in on the two sides not bordered by the canals. Our dog loved it. With a variety kayaks and life vests available for our use, and a launcing ramp on the property, we quickly decided we wanted to make use of them. After some brief kayak practice, we took took off down the canal in search of Hospital Hole. We found it just a short paddle away, and were blown away to be hanging out amongst dozens of these magnificent, social, gentle beings. We spent many hours with the manatees at Hospital Hole when weather allowed, and have pictures and memories that we'll cherish forever! Manatee Playground is at the end of a quiet road and the neighbors are friendly. There are many great restaurants in the area, and Pine Island is just a short drive to watch some beautiful sunsets.We enjoyed playing pool when the weather was bad. We were surprised that many of the parks don't allow dogs. We had a couple very minor issues, and John and Meg were very friendly and quick to respond. Wonderful hosts! We hope to go back soon!

My family loves to visit this area of the country near Christmas and New Year to enjoy the manatee and the environment. Weeki Wachee is a fun place where you can slow down or speed up if you like. Lots to do or not do and this house helped us enjoy the area even more. Lots of things to do right off the back deck with all the kayaks available and lots to do in the house with a pool table and board games and plenty of space. Meg is a great communicator and very responsive. Absolutely loved it.

We loved the location of the house!! The kayak ramp was an amazing feature. We were even able to see a few manatee right from the dock. House is a little older and dated but didnt bother our group at all. The "no see ums" are vicious though ao make sure to bring bugspray.

Everything was great from start to finish. Information for checking in was provided days before hand. The location, use of LOTS of kayaks and super easy launch (boat ramp) made this home a must for my family and we all had a fantastic time. Saw manatees right from the dock as well. I'd definitely stay again.

The property was a great home base for us as we explored the beautiful area. Loved how quiet the neighborhood was and the kayaking was GREAT!

Property is in a great location, everything we need. The hot water tank could be bigger. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. Manatees are wonderful!

The green pool was our biggest issue! I don’t blame the owner, she was very nice & tried to get the pool guy there. It took most of the stay to clear up. My sons cleaned the filter 3 times a day & it was full of green algae. The house itself could use some maintenance & new mattresses! We loved the layout & the game room was great for the kids to play! It was nice to have all the kayaks to enjoy! We had a great time! We saw Manatee twice just down the river too!

We enjoyed our time at the house. On first impression the house was quite dirty and during our time we didn't see the lawn company ( to pick up all the palm Frans from the storms) or the pool company. Inspite of that the house has plenty of space and comfortable sofas for lounging. The kayaks were in good shape and we used them every day. All we needed to bring was our personal stuff everything g was there including pool towels. They didn't have any wash clothes so we picked them up and also left them for the next people. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and we were able to relax and unwind. The owner was fast to respond to any issues.
