Questo bellissimo 2 BR 2 BA, vista mare, condominio al secondo piano è 1150 SF, ed è stato recentemente aggiornato nel 2017 con nuove finestre, nuove porte patio e nuove piastrelle doccia dopo essere stato completamente ristrutturato nel 2011. Questa unità dispone di nuovi pavimenti in piastrelle in tutto e pavimenti in legno laminato in entrambe le camere. L'intero appartamento è arredato con mobili nuovi.
Una nuova cucina gourmet con mobili di ciliegio, granito, e nuovi apparecchi forniscono tutto il necessario per preparare comodamente i vostri pasti. Il padiglione barbecue Makahuena è proprio fuori del condominio. Il salotto è spazioso e comprende un divano letto, televisore a schermo piatto con Blue Ray / DVD. Alcuni DVD sono forniti. La camera da letto padronale ha un bel letto king size con un nuovo marchio materasso pillow top. Il bagno annesso è stato ristrutturato con gusto. La seconda camera ha 2 letti singoli e mobili in mogano splendida. L'intera unità è dotata di nuovi rivestimenti finestra in legno che offrono privacy.
Per il vostro uso e godimento abbiamo fornito sedie a sdraio, teli mare, boogie boards, una grande cassa di ghiaccio, e giochi. 2 racchette da tennis sono previste anche per l'utilizzo del campo da tennis Makahuena. Il complesso dispone anche di una piscina con una vasca idromassaggio con una splendida vista sull'oceano.
Il bellissimo complesso Makahuena si trova a pochi minuti a piedi dalla fama mondiale Poipu Beach, Brennecke Beach e il Grand Hyatt Hotel, con la sua cucina raffinata.

Rodney was always quick to respond to my emails. He was always reassuring to my concerns. His manager Evelyn was my go -to person. The apartment was all one level and my family was very comfortable there from grandma to 4 year old.

Very nice condo. Complete kitchen, good wifi reception. Had umbrella, beach chairs that we used on the beach. Overall a great spot for a week's vacation.

Property was very nice. Pool and jcuz. Turtles off the reef out front. Whales seen jumping from the balcony. Nice comfortable place. Very impressed.

My family of 6 (4 teens) stayed here from Jan2-9. Condo was a little tight for 6 adult sized people, but we're in Hawaii, we made it work. We ended up borrowing an air mattress from a friend and had that in the second bedroom, so only one person slept on the pull-out bed.
Condo was great. We love this location in Kauai. We loved being able to watch the sun rise and set over the ocean each day. I loved sitting on the balcony each morning while I ate breakfast. One morning the whales were really putting on a show that i could just sit and enjoy watching.
We loved being able to walk to the Grand Hyatt for coffee. We loved being able to walk to get a Puka dog. We loved that the turtles and monk seal beaches could be walked to, along with a snorkel beach and a boogie board beach. We loved walking and looking in the tide pools.
We used the cooler a few times and enjoyed the boogie boards and chairs that came with the condo. I never cooked a dinner in the condo but the kitchen seemed well stocked. Plenty of pillows and towels. Having beach towels there was great. I would recommend this condo to anyone and would come back in a heartbeat.

1203 was very comfortable for my wife and two adult children. The unit was clean and appointed as described. The management group was ver communicative and accommodating.

The property was absolutely beautiful and well kept. The condo itself was better than even the pictures and the pictures are nice! The view of the ocean from the balcony and then walking right out front and watching the sunrise and also sunset topped it all!

We’ve been to Hawaii more than a dozen times, and this condo is definitely a find, and a value. The unit is well maintained/upgraded, and very tastefully decorated. The bed is very comfortable. The furniture and the kitchen appliances seem new. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware in good condition. Even the beach chairs and umbrella are quality.
The Makahuena complex itself is a bit weathered, and pretty bare-bones, but the grounds are nicely maintained. There seems to be a mix of mainly visitors with some residents. The complex is situated on beautiful lava cliffs that the waves crash against endlessly.
If you come, make sure to visit Poipu beach at sunset to watch the Green Sea Turtles haul themselves onto shore for the night.

Hot and humid No air conditioning. Bedroom window was not functional. Loved the condo. Just needed air. Also noisy at this time due to maintenance on the building and grounds. Walkable to 2 beaches.

Wonderful property!! So spacious, stylish, and comfortable. No a/c (very typical for hawaiian homes) but it was never a problem for our family. They had multiple fans in the rooms AND effective ceiling fans. There was never any direct sun into the home which kept the home at an easy temp all day. Over all it was a great place to stay!

Note: no air conditioning. Can get really warm. Unfortunately we could not open the window in the main bedroom.

Great location with nice view of the ocean. The unit was as good or better than the pictures. Facilities were well cared for and the maintenance crew was friendly and helpful.

This condo was beyond expectations, the pictures don't do this place justice! Perfect balcony for morning coffee and listening to the waves crash! Well thought out in everything stocked! I knew going in that there was no AC but fans in every room made for a great atmosphere! I would book here again in a heartbeat!

We loved Kauai and had a great stay at this spacious and beautiful condo. Wonderful location and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony spotting whales. I didn’t give this condo five stars because the beds were not comfortable, which impacted our sleep for the 9 nights we were here. We’d definitely recommend the purchase of new beds given the price point of a nightly stay at this condo. I’d also suggest a kettle for the kitchen. Thank you!

The views from the complex are some of the best we saw while here- watched whales in the morning and evening and then took a quick drive down to the beach to witness seals and turtles on the shore. Had a great time snorkeling! Would highly recommend this unit to anyone!

This unit is well stocked a great layout and clean - you will not be disappointed! It is accessible to great beaches within walking distance and it is also a great location if you want to drive and explore other parts of the island without spending all your time in your vehicle. The complex is safe and other guests and condo owners are friendly. If you want to get advice on what to do on the island just chat to anyone in the hot tub - it is a great way to hear honest reviews and get recommendations on excursions and activities.

Loved our stay - walking distance to Shipwreck Beach in front of the Grand Hyatt and to Poipu Beach in the other direction. We enjoyed the pool and the tennis court too. Ocean view from the balcony and we watched the whales play almost every day.

We stayed in Rodney's condo for 4 nights in January 2022. We realized that while we received "check in" details, when we arrived, we noticed we hadn't received the information needed to get into the condo. I had to make a couple of phone calls to the property manager, who quickly gave me the information that was needed so that we could gain access. That was really the only snafu that we encountered. The condo was exactly as advertised. The beds were super comfortable, and it had a great deal of space where we could all spread out and enjoy our stay. The condo does not have air conditioning, so we kept the blinds shut in the morning due to the morning sun and left all windows and fans going at night...it was very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to use your gorgeous property! p.s. make sure to take a walk down past the gate in the AM and watch the sea turtles! Totally amazing!

This host had amazing communication! Before we arrived he informed us of entry information. When we checked in, there was a packet of information about the surrounding area and the island.
The condo was beautiful and close to Poipu Beach Park. We had great kitchen equipment, and lots of beach supplies.
The only disadvantage was my son would have liked air conditioning. I really didn’t mind being without it. Great place to stay!

The condo was exactly what we wanted. Close to the beach, a good space for my family of 6. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by all of us daily after long days of adventures. Within 5 minutes of Poipu Beach, shops, restaurants. The closet with some beach toys, chairs, umbrella, ice chest etc was very much appreciated. Neighbors were all quiet and respectful. We enjoyed using the onside BBQ as well. Would absolutely stay again.
