Hosts were excellent, not in your face but always there when you looked for local info or just a chat. Ideal. The beds extremely comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional and the wood fire was very cosy.

Harrison House is a lovely hosted B&B with a high level of comfort for guests. Super comfortable bed, room and lounge area with a great open fire. Breakfasts were excellent and Ken & Jo offered plenty of good local advice. Highly recommend.

Nothing we didn’t like about Harrison House. Still in the throws of renovation but not in any guest areas, lovely for guests.

The hosts Jo and Ken were very friendly and accommodating. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Breakfast was ample and a good selection. A cosy shared lounge with a wood burning fire.

The property was well presented and beautifully decorated. Our room was spacious and warm. It was a pleasant 15mins walk along the esplanade to the centre of town. Jo and Ken were wonderfully thoughtful hosts.

Ken and Jo are Fantastic Hosts The best stay we have had in Tasmania. A fantastic spot, Old World Charm with all the modern facilities you need. Would not hesitate to stay here again, and thoroughly recommend it to anyone staying in Strahan.

Zero, everything was perfect

Ken's breakfast was diverse and made to our order, hot breakfast excellent, care and attention to detail. Location great for all activities in Strahan. Our hosts could not have done more, including the offer of umbrellas for the cruise on Macquarie Harbour.

Beautiful house, the cooked breakfasts, comfortable beds, everything was really clean, hospitality was great and hosts were incredibly informative and gave some great ideas of things to do/ where to eat in the area.

Not that we didn’t not like it because we understand the point is to relax but would have been nice to have access to televisions in the rooms. Especially when married at first sight is on and one of the guests were watching ABC tv show on the shared tv. But also we get that the idea is to spend time together, be present and relax!! Wasn’t a huge deal but just a thought.

Breakfast and location was excellent. Beautiful room and home. Immaculate throughout. The communal lounge area with a log fire was stunning. Every detail was catered for. Would definitely stay again and definitely recommend Harrison House. Also Jo- Anne makes delicious homemade biscuits. A beautiful experience in every way…

Jo and Ken were wonderful hosts who made us most welcome. Lovely refurbished rooms and a delicious home cooked breakfast. Manageable walk into town.

The room was spacious with ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was exceptional with homemade bread rolls baked every morning. Ken and Jo have been wonderful hosts and I would highly recommend to my family and friends.

Beautiful period property, lovingly restored by the owners. Small enough to feel like you were staying with old friends, but private enough to feel like you were there on your own. Exceptionally clean and so many little touches.

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy and breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very friendly and gave good suggestions as to where to eat for dinner. The house itself is beautiful and we would definitely stay there again next time we’re in Strahan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Harrison House! Ken & Jo are fabulous hosts - friendly, warm, very knowledgeable about the local area and generous in sharing that information which helped us plan what to do, where to go etc. The breakfasts were delicious - enjoyed the food and the company! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. If I go back to Strahan, then I'll definitely be staying at Harrison House.
