I will try and not make this too long, I have read the reviews and have called OCEAN REEF and have dealt with several people, most nice but some it is just a JOB with NO customer service. I have read that the furniture was dirty, stained and the place was NOT cleaned, I was calling to make sure that this didn't happen on my arrival. I was told by several people at OCEAN REEF that they would make things right and make sure that is was NOT like that on our arrival, even speaking with them the arrival day to make sure it was all cleaned very well. Now upon our arrival, the slip covers on the white couch are all stain with orange, all the chairs are stained as well along with all the area rugs in this house were all disgusting!!! Also we were late on our arrIval by 4 hours and the furniture was wet, there was nothing dry to sit on. I had to make several calls once we arrived due to this house being disgusting, I was told that they do not have enough staff to clean since COVID, I am sorry this is no longer an excuse and also not my problem, I paid way too much to rent and stay in a place that my children could not even sit or play on the floors., even with our shoes off walking barefoot, within 30 minutes our feet were BLACK and we didn't even walk outside.. Once again the calls were made and they said the owners were there just a couple of weeks ago, this is very SAD with the money they are making and this speaks loudly that they were there and seen the condition. They don't even care that they are leaving a false description, seems they are just out to take renters money and making NO updates. This gets better, with all the calls that I had to make and take time out of my vacation away from my family while being there to allow maintenance and cleaners as well as a repair guy, I asked to be compensated the CEO of OCEAN REEF would only issue me $150 plus tax that came out to be $168, when we paid way to much to rent this place. The margarita machine has mold growing out of it, the grill was gross and falling apart as well as the ice maker did not work either. I am hoping that this does not happen to anyone else, I tried to attach an email with Yahoo, but be clever below...I have taken several pictures for anyone's viewing but it will not allow them on this review site...since this does not allow me to post them try vrbotenesseariver@, fill in the blank for pictures.. AGAIN STAY AWAY!!!!

This house is great and as described. It sleeps 10, is a short walk to the beach, very nicely decorated with a well-stocked kitchen. For these reasons I’m giving it five stars. But it has limitations. First, there’s no kitchen cabinet space to put food in, so we had to keep ours spread over the island. That meant we couldn’t use the four island chairs for dining without food all over it. The dining table only seats four, so our group of six never ate at a table together. There are no other tables/desks in the house, so for anyone working “from home” you have to sit at that table if you need a table. (The decks are stocked with Adirondack chairs so you can always sit out there if you can do without a dining table.) Also there’s no closet for guest use on the first floor, so beach stuff stays on the front porch or living room area, which is a bit messy. I recommend the yellow bedroom as the master if you can do with a smaller bathroom; the orientation of furniture gives more floors space and there’s a larger closet. The big limitation isn’t related to the house itself: the beach area available to residents has become minuscule and you’ll have to lie between ropes in close contact with others. The other half of the beach is only for people renting chairs, and they’re shoulder-to-shoulder.

After traveling to 30A for the past 20 years, this is my least favorite of all the homes we have stayed in. The property was not clean. The white sofa in the living room was stained orange and there were no cooking utensils. They were kind enough to bring soap and basic detergent on the 2nd day of our stay after complaining. For the price we paid, we expected much more. Stay away.

We rented this home for the month of February 2021. Good layout, natural light, cheerful décor, and great location. We appreciate that the house was clean on arrival, but the sofas, chairs and rugs are showing stains and wear. Within a few days the house had several issues: toilets on both levels overflowed and the guest shower backed up (there is a major sewage line clog somewhere), the a/c didn't work (culprit was outside water backup triggering the safety switch), and the backdoor was stuck shut. We changed lightbulbs and fixed a toilet flange ourselves, and then called the management company who promptly fixed the big stuff. Needs exterior maintenance - trim work, roof and doors. The kitchen was stocked with minimal dishes, cutlery, pots and pans - no hot mitts, no trivets etc. Because of our extended stay we brought our own chef knives, spices and linens - a god send. Last, it was a surprise that with 4 bedrooms there was not one desk. I was working from "home" and had to rig a desk with two nightstands and a board. In sum, it's a shame the house is not better maintained because it really is a gem and great location.

Really enjoyed the location. Ability to walk everywhere. The neighborhood and pool are great. The house offers large bedrooms and has the house had plenty of bathrooms. Great for family!

We had a great time. Everything was as listed. Only issue was that we would have loved to have known all of the rules with the pool and beach hours prior to booking! We would definitely consider a return trip! Thank you.

We loved this home and this neighborhood! It was ideal for our family of four to spend the week of Thanksgiving. There was room for everyone to spread out and then to get together. We were thrilled to have a nice, pet-friendly option and enjoyed good walks in the neighborhood with our pup. Walking to the beach was no hassle. Our stay could only have been better if the Seacrest pool was heated :)

This property was just perfect. It can hold a large family and is dog friendly. I thought the location to the beach was great, about an 8 minute walk or you could take the tram. Super easy and made vacation wonderful. I’d stay here again.
