We enjoyed our stay at the Pugh House for a work/short vacation trip. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the owner reached out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house was ideally located--close to restaurants, shops, water front; and the people of Oriental were very friendly and welcoming!

This home offered everything we wanted for our stay, beautiful country interior, access to family in the area and plenty of space for all of us. Loved it

We loved our second stay at Pugh house. This time we brought the grandparents too! Beds are comfy, owner is always helpful & kind, we love the porch and feel like we are cozy and at home. Grandparents loved downstairs bedroom near the bathroom & away from the kids!

My husband and I could not have asked for any better place to stay. The place felt like home immediately when we opened the door. Well stocked with more then you would need for our stay. Very clean and close to the perfect little beach and park on the water with chairs along the water way to watch the boats and read a good book. Walking distance to all restaurants and shops and docks. Bikes we provided to ride everywhere we wanted to go. Quiet neighborhood for walking our dog. Just didn't want to leave. The house is beautiful inside and out. The owners were available for any questions to be answered. Just felt like a forever home. Thank you for letting us enjoy one of the best times of our lives.

We loved our stay in this lovely older but updated home in historic Oriental. The house had so much charm and personality. We found everything we needed for our stay. The location is great... walking distance to the waterfront and most anything you would want to do in Oriental, including some good restaurants and a brewery.

Well maintained older home. With 4 teens and tweens the sparsity of electrical outlets for charging phones, watched and I-pads was a challenge. Loved the screened in porch with swing and the availability of bicycles. Kids rode to camp each day and to a nearby park. All good except Oriental municipal water!

Quaint, wonderful, family home. Loved being able to walk downtown oriental, to the farmers market, and to the marina. Spent many hours on the screen porch. Great host cares about the little details.

You can’t beat this location! Within walking distance of the Bean and Brewery. We stayed the weekend for our family reunion and it was perfect!

I’ve used this property a few times on my travels on the ICW. It’s a beautiful home a few blocks from all the marinas/restaurants and comes with lots of bikes to get around. Ashley was incredibly prompt in responding when we were checking in and needed assistance. Will definitely be using again!!

Loved this historic home in Edenton. Great location, everything we needed- including super comfortable beds after a day of bike riding. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edenton.

The Pugh House was a great spot to spend a relaxing month in Oriental. It had a cottage feel about it, with lots of spots to watch TV or read a book. There was a huge fenced back yard that our dog loved exploring and racing around at top speed. A short walk to the small downtown and several restaurants, though we did a lot of cooking, too, and enjoyed the fresh local shrimp and sea scallops.

With this stay, you feel like you are a guest in someone’s home. The location is great. One bathroom is a little challenging if you have more than 2 people.

This was the perfect place to have a reunion. It was perfectly located, close to restaurants and the marina. The house is tastefully decorated and fully equipped with anything you might need. The screened in porch is perfect for conversation or yoga.

My husband and I loved our weekend stay in Oriental. The Pugh House had everything we needed and plenty of room for our German Shepherd pup as well. So much of Oriental is within walking distance!

Very comfortable property for our family to spend a relaxing week. The play room attic was a special find for our young daughter and the large fenced yard was perfect for our pups.

We stayed for a week with my brother & his wife. The house & location was perfect. Great backyard too. Only one bathroom was our only issue

I stayed the week here while my son attended sailing camp, and we loved it. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, spacious rooms. Everything was clean & comfortable and the town is walkable so everything was convenient. Ashley was always kind & responsive! We even saw a play at the theater next door and that was fun too!

The cottage is charming and captures the spirit of the town. We look forward to staying again soon!

This house was so cute, a historical house with lots of character. It's in a nice neighborhood great for taking walks - we took the dog for a walk down to the waterfront street. Lots of towels and blankets provided. Kitchen had coffee pot and toaster and stocked with tableware and cookware. There's a Piggly Wiggly 2 minutes down the road and the Cherry Branch ferry was about a 15 drive.

Terrific location within walking or biking distance of harbor. Everything you need, clean and tasteful homey feel.

Great place to stay in Oriental. Check-in was so easy. The screened porch was a nice place to relax in the evening and have coffee in the morning.

This house is perfect if you are trying to get away for the weekend and have some quiet time. It was a wonderful experience. Would definitely stay there again. We loved the screened in porch! The only problem we had was makeup on one of the pillows on the bed and the tvs were out. Other than that, a fantastic experience!

We've been to Pugh house 3 times and love the property. We never even get in our car once we arrive- everything is walkable. The owners have added nice new touches so it is only getting more comfortable. They are great to work with and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. We really enjoy taking sailing lessons and renting boats at Bow to Stern which is a short bike ride away- great company and wonderful people. If you happen to be an electric vehicle owner you will be pleased to know that there are 2 free public chargers within walking distance of the house. One is less than a block away. Our dogs also enjoy the HUGE back yard.

Clean with great location

Check in was a breeze, was exactly as stated in the ad. Enjoyed the bikes that were available. Like having one downstairs bedroom and the rest upstairs.

This is an amazing property! Beautiful, great location. The agent, Ashley, is a delight. We will definitely rent this place again!!
