We loved everything about the property. It was exactly as advertised, beautiful, and perfect for our needs. The only thing we had an issue with is that the beds were a bit saggy and creaky, and we did not get the best nights’ sleep.

Celebrated my 60th birthday with a quick weekend was able to get this place for two nights. We were gifted seeing a doe, fawn and Buck on the ridge…it was beautiful. We played the money game which was fun and set clues for the next guests! Everything you need is there… we would definitely recommend… the hot tub was amazing!

Property is great. Cabin perfect size and pretty much had everything we needed.Love that the hot tub is covered. Sound of the fountain is relaxing. Great location.

We had two families come together for a weekend. We started this tradition last year and LOVED this cabin. It’s great that it was on one floor, fishing and a fire pit around the property to keep children busy. This is our first time trying out this cabin and it was perfect! Our only mutual complaint was we wished they offered a bigger trash can. With 4 adults and 3 kids (two in pull-ups) we filled the can so quick and so often. Other than that it’s the perfect get away. The host were awesome!!! We scheduled it and had some vacation/work discrepancies and they were able to move it easily for us. We didn’t need to call them, but they have on the fridge that makes it welcoming to call them if needed which makes you feel secure staying there. Whole cabin was clean when we walked in which was also great too! We recommend staying there if you have a chance.

The cabin was clean with all accommodations needed. We prepared meals during our 1 week stay for the whole family. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans, pots, and everything else needed for cooking. My spouse and kids enjoyed the dollar treasure hunt. Private pond and fire pit was a great touch, we made smores.
Location was ideal, where we had short drive time to all our planned hiking trails. Overall, great experience!

To make it brief:. We had a communication to be out by 3pm from host. However in the original text said 11am .We were not out by 11am shortly after that time though .Then Karen showed up scolding us like little children thought we would have a nice getaway but her aproach was extremly rude also if decide to stay here make sure when you leave its extremely clean or she will charge you like crazy. Specifically hot tub. Not sure how one decides we didnt shower before we got in! Seems to me all she cares about is making money off of guests. I would find a diffrent place unless you are good at dotting all your Is and crossing all your Ts.

Stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate a family birthday. This cabin did NOT disappoint! It was clean, secluded, well stocked, and we absolutely loved watching all the different birds. It's not far from all the great attractions either! Highly recommended!

The cozy cottage was very clean. It has private little lake and bird feeders that bring many birds to view. Surrounded by hills and trees you feel like you are there alone. The owners were very responsive to address questions.

We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our close friends and enjoyed our time together watching the birds and wildlife, in the hot tub and wished that the parking area was flatter along with the stairs to get to the deck. The 2 entrances into the cabin are an extra tall step which makes it a little difficult for us since we are all senior citizens and have had some heaith issues with our legs, the place is very clean and comfortable and communication with Cherie was very good.

We loved the location of the cabin, it is secluded but still close to town as well as the state park! We had four people in our group and it was comfortable for us. The place was very clean and could tell that it was well taken care of. The hot tub was very clean as well! Communication with the property owner was great. The amenities were true to what was listed as well as the listing itself. We would think about staying here again if we planned another vacation in the area!

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. There is a bird feeder that brings birds, chipmunks, and squirrels in and out all say. The pond is busy with fish and frogs. We also saw 1 deer walk thru the woods near the driveway. We enjoyed the fire pit, sitting on the porch, and soaked the hot tub. The host was awesome and left lights on for us knowing we were arriving in the dark. Lots of board games, and movies available. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We would stay again for sure. It was perfect for a weekend get away. Thank you for the memories.

It was beautiful and well cared for. Only a few things i think might help -better lighting in the kitchen and main room. Also, lighting along the pond to firepit. Even solar lights would help. The step out of the cabin is quite deep and could be dangerous. Our group was -a grandmother, , mother, And 2 adult daughters. I realize this may seem minor, but would be helpful. Not detrimental by all means and would defitely come again. Thank you

The property was very nice. Accurate description of property. Quiet and serene. If there was any negative it would be, not enough light in kitchen to prepare meals! Not a huge negative. Good location. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin is perfect in it’s location. It faces a pond and the host has placed two bird feeders in front of the cabin. It was great fun to watch the variations of birds( we counted 11) we watched the deer come to the pond in the morning and at dusk. We watched the fox run across the yard. We were close to Hocking State park and hiked both Friday and Saturday. It was perfect! We laughed, ate, shared stories,ate, rocked on the porch and did I say, ate?!!
The host set up a Scavenger Hunt in and around the property as well. We loved it, and left some clues for next visitors.

We had the best long weekend, quiet, relaxing, calm very much needed. This is the perfect place. If you just want to step away from everything there is Wi-Fi there is TV but there’s so much outdoor activity and just peace and calm. There’s no reason to have to be on the grid.

my son and his family arrived late night (after 10). no difficulty with check in, and I got an immediate text of 'this place is awesome'. The hot tub was a hit with the whole family, the out-door fire pit was a great venue for family gathering. everything worked, everything was charming, and my son and his wife would like to have a place like this to retire to 'some day'........I would highly recommend!

The weekend could not have gone any better and this place was the main reason. It was little home away from home with all the amenities. Plus with its location we were in easy driving distance of all the best hiking spots. And the snow that fell and covered the scenery really made it pop! What a weekend. I would pick this place to stay every time.

We absolutey loved this cabin. We were close to all the fun activities Hocking Hills has to offer, while still feeling completely secluded. This cabin was so clean and offered all the amenities needed. We had two kids with us who were never bored for a moment. They loved exploring the property and trying to catch fish from the pond.
We will absolutely recommend to all our friends and hope we get a chance to stay there again.

This getaway was planned as a healing and recovery weekend for a friend who unexpectedly lost her son a month ago and it was just what we all needed. We had plans to venture out but we were all so comfortable and cozy at this beautiful cabin that we didn’t want to leave. It is such a beautiful and well equipped property. I would highly recommend it anyone who is just looking for some serious R&R in a peaceful and beautiful natural environment.

Hickory Grove Lakeview Cabin is cozy and relaxing. It was very clean. Close to Hocking Hills/Logan. Cherie was very accommodating at our last minute booking. Loved watching the birds at the feeders!
