Fantastic Bay House, great for large gatherings, canal fishing and lots of toys
Con oltre 2800 SF questa casa sul canale offre qualcosa per tutta la famiglia. Pesca sul portico posteriore e splendide viste sul canale tranquillo che guarda dritto verso la baia. C'è un grande ritiro padronale al primo piano con area salotto e ampio bagno. Il secondo piano vanta un'altra camera da letto di dimensioni comparabili attualmente utilizzata come sala giochi \ camera da letto insieme a due ampie camere da letto. C'è spazio per tutti! Una grande cucina con abbondanza di spazio, due lavandini e splendide viste sono alcuni servizi che piaceranno sicuramente. Wifi ie Xfiniti e TV in soggiorno, camera padronale e sala giochi. Per i pescatori della famiglia, l'outback del molo offre alcuni dei migliori canali di pesca a Galveston con una luce verde subacquea che attira i pesci! Tanti giochi da giardino, 2 kayak in tandem, rete da pallavolo e giochi da spiaggia per bambini, tutto incluso!

This was a great property for a family getaway. We loved being right there on the water. We used the paddle boards & kayaks in the canal. My husband enjoyed fishing from the dock. We rented a golf cart for easy access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and large for family dinners. The bedding was comfortable. The owners were very attentive and available to us.

With a sad heart, we unfortunately had to cancel our vacation and stay. But what I can tell you is the host was amazing with their communication before, during and after the storm. This is truly a testament to what we would have experienced had we have had the privilege of staying at this lovely property. We will definitely reschedule our stay at this house very soon and can’t wait to enjoy it.

My family and I stayed from June 12th-17th and we all had a blast. The house was gorgeous, inside and out. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming in the canal. Headed to the beach a few times and ate at our favorite place, West End Marina. The house accommodated our family very well and was spacious and clean. Thank you David for sharing your home with us.

This house is fantastic! Large enough to fit all of your people. Great open layout downstairs provides enough room for everyone. Kitchen is great for cooking large family meals. Access to the canal is a big plus and the fishing is will keep you reeling! You will have spectacular sunset views from the upper deck in the evening. Plenty of activities local but you won’t need to leave the house with all of the yard games and kayaks available. House is just across the highway from the public beach access which is nice. The outdoor shower down stairs was handy for washing off the beach and keeping it out of the house. Bedroom layouts were accommodating for our large party. All of the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. My wife says it’s the best she’s slept in years! I messaged the host after our departure so we could buy the same mattresses for home! Communication with the host was easy going, he even offered some sound fishing advice! You will not regret booking this house.

Still taking advantage of my boys coming home for spring break- this home has a great dock, but also close to very clean beaches that are much quieter/crowded than up the island. It was a perfect stay.

What an amazing place to visit!! The perfect getaway to just kick back, relax and fish all day and night.. This home is well equipped with all your culinary needs and some of the most comfortable beds. The property owners were so nice to let us use the kayaks and games to keep our little ones entertained.

We very much enjoyed David’s property! It was beautiful sitting on the top deck over looking the serene water and beautiful community with a cup of coffee to start the day. The downstairs deck was full of fun for our boys as they fished, kayaked, gave the paddle boards a whirl and crabbed. The home equipped with everything you need for cooking and then some. I would highly recommend this home for a stay with a large group. I look forward to going back soon!

This is the 4th time we have stayed in this beautiful home. It is comfortable and relaxing. We love the upstairs deck with views of the water. The downstairs area is perfect for fishing and just hanging out. The kids love playing on the paddle boards and kayaks in the bay. David is a great host and is available should you have questions during your stay. The kitchen area is large and a great place for everyone to hang out. The area is less crowded that other areas in Galveston and the beach is right across the highway. We will definitely be back.

The property was settled in a great location with great view into the bay. The house was clean and very comfortable. The house was also stocked with everything you will need to enjoy a week away. Including paddle boards and other activities the kids of many ages will enjoy. One of the best perks to the house was the owner was very easy to communicate with from start to end!

This is my first time to stay on the canal and it won’t be my last! The kayaks and toys in the garage were an added bonus as well as the game room. The kitchen setup was great, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and coffee pots and more. David was very responsive when needed. Very spacious home and the view on the canal was wonderful. My favorite part was kayaking on the canal. We will definitely be back!

We have spent the last 11 Thanksgivings in Galveston- family tradition for us to get a week with my sister, her husband and my nephew. This was the best place yet! Great space for everyone, location was perfect, the house was so comfortable and well equipped, and ping pong/kayaking/paddle boarding was perfect to keep a 13-year old occupied.

The location of this property was very convenient, and the neighborhood was excellent. Communication with the owner was easy and thorough. The house had more extras that we didn't even use, but it was nice to have them available. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family stayed at the beach house during the first week of August. We had a blast! We watched the sunrise from the deck, fished off the dock, caught crabs with the traps, and paddle-boarded throughout the canal. The location is perfect, with a beautiful beach just across the road. The host was amazing. When I texted him, he responded immediately. The property was so nice. I highly recommend this beach house and look forward to returning!!

Great place! Only caution is on the deck upstairs there are some loose deck rails that was very unsafe for our toddler. Some of them were completely broken. Some wear and tear but we would definitely stay again. Loved the kayaks! BBQ pit does need to be replaced.

Perfect Getaway
This house is perfect for large family get-togethers. Having access to fishing made it really nice...it kept the guys nearby!
Loved having the picnic tables below so we could all eat together too!
Having access to a pool would've made the "older generation" happier but everyone else was more than happy with the beach and the bay. Kayaks were loved!

Due to almost perfect weather, we were able to take advantage of the kayaking and hanging at the beach. Good toys and equipment! Evening ping-pong was great!! So much kitchen room all of us could prepare and eat great meals.

Best Location and Property in Galveston
The property will exceed all of your expectations. It is impossible to highlight all the extra care the host have taken to ensure you have everything you could need, want or desire during your trip. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving Dinner and have everyone comfortably seated using only items available within the house (minus actual food of course). Everyone had activities and games regardless of the age group. It was fabulous to have our whole family in one place and very comfortably. 5 star host for sure!

Brought my dad here for his 60th birthday along with local family. He had one of the best times in his life (his words) as we played games, fished on the dock, and took our boat out fishing in West Bay. We spent the evenings out back grilling steaks and fish on the BBQ grill. Thanks for helping us make great memories David.

We had good time at Isla Del Sol
Fishing was good, we also enjoyed the house and all that came with it. The AC went down on us but we were able to manage.
