This guesthouse is located 10 minutes, walking distance from Skógafoss and also from the village Skógar.

I slept in the room next to the main area and the night, in winter, can be a little bit cold despite the electrical radiator.

One of the best guesthouse which we visited in Iceland! Nice room with comfortable bed. There were 2 bedrooms for 4 or 5 rooms so I almost felt like I would have private bedroom. For big plus, there is heating floor. It was really amazing! In the guesthouse you can find really big kitchen, many places to seat and eat I really really liked it!

The place was really nice. The location is extraordinary with the waterfall nearby ! The bedroom was big enough for two and the kitchen welcoming.

Fantastic house but the heating was a little too hot and there was no way to turn it down a little bit.

Heating is very bad and this is an absolute must for winter weather. Our room's heater didn't work, and the spare one that was in the kitchen didn't either.

Place is super clean and very well kept. Kitchen very equiped. Nice views from every side of the house. 2 shared bathrooms for 5 rooms which is very good. Perfect location, next to Skogafoss. Bus stop very close by. Restaurant close by. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

It's located so close to one of the great waterfalls in Iceland. The kitchen is fully equipped. The internet is really good. Overall it's quiet and spacious which makes it a great place even if you want to stay in for a day

it’s kind of new. the common area is cozy and spacie. the kitchen is fully equipped so I would recommend taking the products with you there (no shops or supermarkets in the 30km area). the rooms are clean and good for one night stand. the area is amazing; the view from the window is stunning. I believe in good weather the terrace with the table would be perfect for a tea/breakfast. we also spotted the aurora lights just near the house.

there is not so many space for your belongings in the rooms. we barely open our small trolley bags there). there is no shower cabin so the water is everywhere after you taking it.

Great location, Skogafoss visible from the property literally minutes away, beatiful surroundings. Great base for hiking the waterfalls way. Nice and clean property, rooms are spacious, living and dining facilities are good. Check-in was automated. Overall loved staying here for the peace & quiet and convenience, with attractions being a short walk away.

The view from the back porch of this guesthouse was amazing! You could see Skogafoss waterfall, which was just a minute drive from this location. The guesthouse was clean and the kitchen came with all the basic amenities one would need. We would 100% stay here again!

Perfect location and free parking.

The room was quite small, with the luggage you dont have space for anything. I would recommend to take the double rooms with shared bathroom, as I saw some of the rooms are were much spacious than the individual room with private bathroom. Bed linnens were in really bad status (with holes... Really? New ones cost 10€...). Bed is really, really uncomfortable (again, probably a matter of age... From the mattress, not mine!) Somebody took some of my belongings during my stay (another guest). The owner did not accept any responsibility, but if somebody steals at your property (the hostel) the owner is legally responsible (could have been fixed simply having a security camera installed in the common areas of the premises.... Again, 30€). Overall, the facility did not meet my expectations. So if you go... Take care of your belongings!!!

Everything was clean, modern house with incredible view. Rooms are large and comfortable.

The single room was just a tad small for me and my gear, but great in a pinch. Bathroom was fine, though the water from shower had an odd hydrocarbon odor (not sulfur!). The shower walls were also not tiled, and simply drywalled with waterproof paint. I mean, I guess that's just a design choice that was made, but... are we sure that's not going to encourage mold growth?

Location to Skogafoss was the biggest attraction.

Room was very average, size was as described. But bed was super soft and the pillow was so thin and soft it may as well not have been there at all. No shower curtain across the shower, even though there was a rail for it, so water sprayed all through the bathroom. No bath mat to stand on after stepping out of the soaked floor. No blackout curtains across the windows, so room was quite bright and it’s on the main road into see the waterfall, so you get the traffic noise too. Owner was adamant in several correspondence to be quiet, however the walls are paper thin and my room backed onto a shower. A nice surprise when another guest decided to have a shower after midnight.
