Perfect location in Northstar - right across from Provisions and a short walk to the Gondola. We'd stay again! Note that bedrooms are in the loft space - the "wall" is open on one side with a blackout curtain to block light. Sound, however, will carry.

Easy in and out for skiing, only a very short walk to gondola. Clean, perfect for a small family. Would stay here again.

This is not something luxurious, but it has all the practical things for skiing families like us. The covered parking is accessed through Timber Creek Lodge entrance and it’s a nice spacious spot. The walking distance to lifts is short but requiring climbing one easy stairs. No walls for the rooms and one of the beds is small. So for family of 4, one person may have to sleep on the big couch. Bathrooms are tiny but functional. There is no built in washer and dryer. Overall it’s a nice stay.

The condo was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable for a family. The location for skiing and village activities is perfect. The basement parking near the elevators is a bonus.

Had a wonderful time here during thanksgiving. Quick access to shops in the village, and a quick drive to Truckee and the Lake! Would definitely stay again.

The Timbercreek property is steps from the village and lift. I wish I had discovered the ski check at the gondola a little earlier. That would have made the trip to the first lift even easier. The unit was perfect for our family (2 adults + 2 kids under 11). The stove kept the unit warm but it never got too hot or dry at night like many places do. We had to delay our arrival by a day due to road conditions but the mgmt company was very knowledgeable about the property and the area which was very helpful.

The property manager responded within minutes and was incredibly helpful finding us another place to stay nearby after we got snowed in and all of the roads were closed. For us this place was perfect. We were lucky enough to have nights that dipped into the 40’s. Between the ceiling fans and 3 extra fans that the property management brought in the sleeping space was cooled down enough to sleep comfortably. Don’t cook spaghetti for dinner in the summertime though. We would stay here again.

The management company clearly stated the condo did not have air conditioning, and we MISSED IT! I would not recommend this property if the weather forecast predicts hot weather. The condo never cooled down. With air, I’d give an overall rating of 5 stars.

This place was perfect for our family of 4, walking distance to skiing, nice view from our deck of the mountains and trees. There was a little communication issue with check in. Tried to check in early and there was no chance even after asking prior to arrival, and then the cleaners chased us out as we finished packing starting promptly at 10am. Wasn't great customer service on the cleaners part. But we would stay again, the place itself was wonderful.

I felt the price was high for the accommodations. The key instructions were confusing and contact with the property manager was less than stellar. We had just spent 2 nights at the Hyatt and 2 nights at Timber Lodge which the accommodations were far more superior for less cost

We loved our stay in this condo. Absolutely perfect Village location! Corner was clean and well-equipped. Plenty of supplies and dishes in the kitchen and lots of clean bedding. The loft bedroom areas to get rather hot perhaps unavoidable. Overall a wonderful stay in Tahoe!

The only downside to my stay was that the elevator was not working because of "major renovation" . It wouldn't have been that bad but the condo is on the 3rd floor and we had a heavy ice chest, 5 bikes, 5 sets of golf clubs and all of our luggage to bring up. It would have been really nice if the property management company had made this clear upon booking (could have looked elsewhere or discounted the stay). I don't believe there would have been a way up for somebody needing ADA requirements. Regardless we were there to ride bikes before the park closed for the season and that's just what we did. Had a blast and overall the place was very nice inside. The property was clean and there was plenty of room to put two air mattresses on the living room floor. Beds were comfortable and the tv was great. Fridge kept everything cold, there is an ice maker down the hall which was awesome for our cooler and hydration bladders. Would totally recommend a stay here if you don't mind hoofing it up three flights of stairs (4 from the garage).

Loved the updates made to this property. Of course, we wish the 2nd bedroom was bigger, and we stayed during a heatwave so upstairs was pretty hot, but I know that is Mother Nature for you. We loved being in the village. Northstar, on the whole, seemed so much more in tune with Covid-19 safety precautions than anywhere at the Lake. We ended up spending most of our time hiking around the property in order to stay away from the masses at the Lake!

We rented a third floor condo, with parking on a sub level. When we arrived, we found out from a sign that the elevator was not working. This caused me and my husband to carry all our luggage up four flights of stairs at 6000 feet of altitude. It would have been nice to know that the elevator was not working prior to arrival as that would have changed not only our desire to stay at the property, but also the type of packing that we did. It was a major inconvenience to have to climb four flights of stairs o. Arrival and departure with all our bags for 2 adults and 2 children. Additionally having to carry a small child up and down the stairs multiple times a day.

Great stay. As advertised

Location and space was great for our family of four. The soundproofing (or lack thereof) does leave a little to be desired, but other than that a great space to enjoy a family ski week. Suggestion: Fix/replace the dining table chairs. Several of the seats are separated from the chair bases and one of our kids pinched their finger between the disconnected pieces.
