The location is really good and walkable. The hotel is vert quiet, the beds are very comfortable, the room’s a/c works, the room is big and spacious, and most of the staff are super professional and friendly. A tip for people sharing a room: there are toilets in the ground level which are kept as clean as the rooms and have private cubicles!

It’s been said 100 times but the bathroom situation in the rooms is unsustainable, unless you’re travelling alone, be prepared to watch and hear your partner go to the toilet as there’s no privacy whatsoever. The light in the bathroom is automatic and will turn off when you shower and on at random times if the door to the toilet is left open. There’s no warm food options during breakfast, and being an international hotel it’d help if more signs were in English. Not a lot of sweet options either. There didn’t seem to be a lot of restocking during breakfast. The one time we went down at 9, if somethings was finished it was finished (in our case croissants and sliced bread) The mini fridge in our room was broken but most of the staff offered help and cold drinks. The front desk person working the night shift (after 10pm) was quite rude to us on all our interactions with him.

Modern, clean room and facilities. Breakfast was great- a typical German spread with lots to choose from- cheeses, ham, jam, fruits, salads and some healthy options like smoothies, mueslis and chia puddings. We didn't try their in-house restaurant but it's Michelin rated.

The hotel is beautiful. The location is fantastic; walking distance to the Königsallee, Carlstadt, Altstadt etc... The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The breakfast, as per all the other reviews, is spectacular! And the team are just lovely. We had a fantastic stay and look forward to coming back again.

Our only gripe is the lack of drawers in the room to put socks/underwear/t-shirts in. But that is minor compared to how lovely everything else was. We'll never stay anywhere else again when we come to D-Dorf!

I liked the bathroom. It was efficient, easy to handle and worked well.

I could not communicate with the hotel, prior to my arrival. The messages I received from them, via booking, had no 'button' to answer to them. When I tried to e-mail them, to the hotel's contact e-mail, it did not work (!).

It was a bit hard to find a good temperature in our room. It was quite warm even though it was very cold outside.

Could have bigger pillows

Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooking the main street. We loved the room - the size, the funky modern design, free mini bar and especially the amazing bed. Slept like babies! Breakfast was great and so was the bar downstairs. Location is right in the center, the hotel is surrounded by restaurants and bars. And the hotel has a Michelin star restaurant itself. Lovely staff. We will be back!

Hi Madam&Sir, we reserved double room on 2nd August, every booking details and rule is clearly showed that we booked 2 double room each with 1 kid as 5 years and 10 years separately, the breakfast fee is included, why the property would ask for kids breakfast fee so charge extra without permission? It’s happened in the breakfast time with strange call from your UK hotline, to emphasize this fee, and automatically deducted from my credit card, after I called back to your hotline in Chinese, the lady will check and answer back but I don’t get a reasonable explanation yet. Why the hotel change my booking and would charge extra? What is the purpose? I need an proper explanation what happened and why? Regards Yi
