What a great place, Quiet, comfortable and spacious. I travelled with my 86 yr old uncle and he was over the moon that the little cottage was so user friendly for him. The shower in particular and the ease of access to the property was very good. The property was easy to find about 3 miles or so from Porthmadog and the heritage railways.

We loved the location which made it easy to get to Criccieth, Porthmadog, etc. The gardens were beautiful with plenty of places to sit and relax, as well as room for the dogs to run around safely. (Make sure you close the wrought iron gates properly before you let dogs out.) The view across the road was beautiful too. We took the dogs for a walk each day and there was so much to see. Paths are easily accessible and we even managed to all walk into Criccieth one day, have a coffee at Dylan's and an Italian ice cream from the little Gelato truck. There are plenty of places to eat and drink as well as supermarkets a short drive away. This spacious house has everything you need to make it a home from home and is very comfortable- there was even some milk and a packet of biscuits on arrival. The kitchen is well-equipped, with an electric oven, microwave, 2-slice toaster, kettle, fridge-freezer and washing machine, but no dryer. There was a handy hoover for giving the place a quick once-over. Each of the three bedrooms has a cozy double bed which makes for a great night's sleep. The house is on one level, making it accessible for people with mobility issues, although there are a few steps leading to the front door which my Dad was extra careful with. There are handles at the front door and in the bathroom, as well as a walk in shower. The lounge and dining room are well set out with space for 6 people to sit comfortably. The TV is a great size with the capability to watch netflix if you have an account. Outside is a rotary washing line and plenty of pegs which is in a perfect place to dry clothes as the sun is still in that section of the day by early evening. Communication with the owner is great. They get back to you in less than 24hrs if you message them.

The bathroom could do with a hook or two for clothing/towel whilst showering and a lock for privacy. We were lucky to have quite warm weather or we'd have struggled to dry everything from a day walking/at the beach. I know a dryer adds expense, but it would be worth it for the ease of warm, dry clothes. We had two dogs with us, neither of them sheds, the dog before ours definitely did and I had to hoover the dining room edges on arrival. A sign with details of how much to pay per dog and where to leave the money would be helpful.

The location and property were lovely especially the gardens although the whole cottage needs updating and modernising with upto date appliances and furniture.

The cottage was beautiful especially the garden. The bedrooms were surprisingly large and all rooms were extremely clean. Location was ideal as a base for visiting surrounding areas. Felt very secluded. Would highly recommend.

The only neg comment I can think of is the bedroom handle was falling off - which didn't bother us really as we didn't close the door. Also there could have been a hook on the back of the shower room door so we could hang up our clothes as the floor could get quite wet after showering. But honestly I am not complaining. The cottage was amazing and would quite happily go there again.

That the owner said that I had to pay £5 per day for the dog in cash to be left at property. this wasn’t told to me at time of booking. I didn’t pay this last year !!

Pretty setting & garden was nice. Off road parking for 2 cars. Beds were very comfortable & made up for when we arrived. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk was there when we arrived but we had brought our own, so that was a nice touch. The weather wasn't great on our weekend but the radiators warmed up the room nice & quick. There was also a good TV we could watch & dvds supplied if we'd needed.

Unfortunately a couple of the fixings weren't great, the main front bedroom door handle being the worst, it was very wobbly due to loose screws & we ended up getting stuck in the room, luckily we were with family who let us out as we also found the front window doesn't open wide enough to get out due to front fascias being in the way, this also being a hazard if a fire were to happen. The walk in shower, although nice, the pump wasn't great so with 4 of us in the cottage needed showers didn't pump away the water quickly enough so the water went out of the shower.

Bryn very helpful and responded very promptly to any queries. Cottage is in a peaceful location with a lovely garden. It was very comfortable, cosy, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. My 89 year old mum loved the walk in shower and the fact that everything was easily accessible for her.

As stated by others the cottage is dated but everything is functional and the property is good value for money.

It would have been nice if the owner had called us to check that all was ok.

there was nothing I didn’t like about the cottage. decor was a bit dated but I liked that. reminded me of staying at my grandparents.

The garden was perfect as we took our dogs. There was everything we needed in the cottage. Our daughters loved playing the board games. The electric heaters warmed the house lovely. We like staying in places which are comfy and don't expect it to be like The Ritz so as previous people have said that the bathroom needs updating, it was clean and functional so it was fine for us.

It is a lovely warm comfortable cottage especially as we stayed in the February half term. The garden was brilliant and views were great. Handy location.

Great pet friendly cottage, pleasant accommodation with garden that would be lovely to use in the Spring/ Summer. Very comfortable with everything we needed including fresh milk and biscuits upon arrival. It is situated a short drive from various attractions, beaches and shops. We will definitely use again when visiting the area.

great location, spacious, warm, on-site parking, all equipment available, it would be good to add a couple of pots and a frying pan.

constant smell of damp & mould despite airing, cleaning and hoovering. The accommodation needs a deep cleaning.

The location is great, good sized bedrooms and nice living space.

The house is tired, could do with a bit of tlc but for the price I can't complain

The location of the property made it quiet and a perfect place to relax. However if we needed anything Criccieth and Porthmadog were close by. Our dog loved the garden and as it was fully enclosed we could let her run around freely. Everything we could need was available at the cottage and we could see that previous feedback from other holidaymakers had been acted on, which had made improvements to the cottage and the garden.

Despite works done there is still room for improvement especially in the bathroom, decoration of the dining room and sorting out of windows that didn’t close properly. Bulbs in lamps etc need to be checked and replaced when necessary.
