Big thank you to Manager George who handled my issues; Cate for being a kind host and Josephat at the reception always with a big smile on his face. We had a splendid time and I will be back soon majaliwa!
Only that at half board there were no preselected complimentary drinks or at least discounted but that is a me issue I will be prepared next time.

Staff were attentive and pleasant. The food was uninspiring, standard fare. We were there over a weekend when a business group was also on the premises. It appears the management did not fully prepare for the high occupancy. The stir fry run out!
They have a great bar but it’s not used much. I believe their prices put people off. Didn’t enjoy being the only or among very few patrons using it. Denied us the chance to meet new people. They should lower their bar prices plus introduce specials whenever they have good occupancy.

One of the best facilities at Watamu. Beautiful and serene.
Excellent staff at the bar lounge and the best pizzas in the africa.
The beach adjacent to the location can be cleaned up to enhance the overall experience.
A net or a natural barrier to filter the trash will give better beach access to the residents.

The food was interesting and lots of salads and vegetables.

We felt very comfortable, the room was very clean and the staff was reeeally friendly.
IWe missed some more vegetable options for meals.
The food in the buffet missed vegetable options.

I Liked everything my room was beautiful and the view was magical.

the staff were incredibly kind and helped with anything you needed.
the beach was not accessible. there was seaweed everywhere on the side beach. other properties I visited in Watamu had a beach right in front of the property that you just walk out on and it was private so no one following you or asking for money. I walked to the side beach to “try” to lay down but it was full of seaweed and before I could even put my towel on the tiny space without seeweed and trash, a beach boy came to me and would not leave my side until I walked I walked with him. I’m on holiday, didnt want to entertain anyone.

Didn’t quite enjoy the beach.
Staff can do better in their response to guests need/ request. We weren’t picked up from the airport despite that we had requested and got a confirmation that we would be picked up

excellent. i like the poached eggs and the variety on offer, the staff was excellent.
requirement for national Id for my spouse when it had not been indicated any where when i was booking.This was abit unsettling but the manager took care of our concerne.

They are very clean & their food is nice, check-in was also very prompt. They also allowed late check-out. Additionally I liked the ocean view from the hotel.
I didn’t like the salty swimming pool water.
At check-out I was made to pay for my room again despite Booking.com having deducted the amount from my account. Later on I had to get a bank confirmation that the money had been deducted from the account. I wrote an email to the hotel about it but they were not responsive, I had to reach out to customer care at booking.com to facilitate the refund.
