Great time, great location on lower half of lake

We took a short trip to this lakeside home to recover after the hecticness of Thanksgiving - seeking a few days of peace and quiet. Requirement was satisfied many times over - what a lovely home right on the lake providing a deck to enjoy mornings with coffee and cinnamon rolls. Hosts were super accommodating and attentive as well. I imagine the setting and home are even better if the lake is higher or has more water.

The lake house is awesome. It is awesome having the lake at your back door. Our kids loved the home and didn’t want to leave. Our daughter caught her first fish all on her own (bluegill) and my son caught a 4lb bass all from the private beach. Kayaks were great to paddle around on and the kids had a blast downstairs. The patio on the main floor was great for the adults after the kids went to bed. All in all a great place to stay, we’ll be back.

We had a great stay with friends. The house was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed sitting outside looking at the calm lake. This would be a fun place for kids too. They could have their own space downstairs. We will definitely be back.

Great Lakefront Property With Lots to Do
Fun property with responsive hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the converted basement (game room) and private dock. The amenities (gas bbq, kayaks, fishing poles, and standup paddle board) were just as described and allowed for a variety of activities.

Great lakehouse with plenty of activities provided
My family of four had a really good time at this property. The hosts were very welcoming and provided an abundance of information about the house and its surroundings. Seemed like everything was provided to enjoy the lake and the house.
Pros: Location. Walking distance to the market, although we used instacart and groceries were delivered at the house. All the activities provided are displayed in the pictures.
Con: Only one...the rocky "beach" had cigarette butts, a plastic bag, and a soda can that looked years old. It is important to wear water shoes.
We were so impressed with the amenities and location as well as the friendly hosts, we will definitely come back.

Our company has had guys working in the Clearlake area for the last several months and we have rented from Alex and Katherine every time; except the first time, but we never went back after we found them! They have gone out of their way to accommodate us, even pushing back their own plans to use the property at Christmas so we could stay an additional night to complete our work. Great Lake House
The property was great, had a lower hangout level which was separate from the house above. The lake water is low but was great to take out the kayaks and try some fishing around the docks. Would definitely come back!!!

I have rented this property several times over the last 2 to 3 months for a week at a time. Always welcoming and clean. The hosts always respond quickly and are very helpful.

What a view
My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was comfortable with everything we needed and the view was simply amazing. I loved sitting outside on the deck early in the morning with my coffee. Very peaceful. Also, the owner was super responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a great place to getaway. Highly recommended.

Wonderful weekend
We had such a great stay at this little gem! It had everything you need to make your stay comfortable and fun. The kids loved the game room down stairs and fishing off the dock, along with the evening snack trip to the market just a few short steps down the street. Alex and Katherine were exceptional hosts with amazing communication, which made the trip stress free.
We had such a great weekend and would love to plan another stay soon.

We had such a great time,the host were spectacular, the house and property were spectacular. If you wanna a beautiful lake front house right on the was water with great access to the the lake this is the spot for you. We were 100% satisfied with our stay at Alex and Kats lake house. It was a 10 out of 10 for me and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Much Needed Getaway
I booked this house for my mom's 56th birthday and we couldn't have been more pleased! You guys made sure to keep communication and check-in was a breeze! I also have to say the pictures don't do this house justice. It's honestly larger than we expected and the views were amazing. The little market store within walking distance was also a plus. We felt right at home the whole time and did not want to leave. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us and even an bigger thank you for helping people cross "kayaking" off their bucket list! We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful and peaceful
My family drove 9 hours to spend 5 days at this beautiful location. The home was comfortable, very relaxing environment, well stocked with things to do, great TVs, a wonderful view, various outdoor areas to enjoy, a quality BBQ grill and water sports equipment. There is something for all different types of people to enjoy. Communication with the owners was enjoyable. Upon arrival, I was texted with a greeting from the owner. They wanted to make sure I had a way to contact them if we needed anything. We did not because everything was taken care of. Upon our departure, they thanked us for coming. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future. None of us wanted to go home.

We have spent lovely long weekend it this gous. It is very well placed, really clean and cozy. The kitchen is well equipped. All the spotr gear is in very good shape and we really enjoyed osing it. Totally recommend!

Beautiful Lake House.
We booked this lake house last minute just to get out of town for a few days and get some fishing in. Clearlake is known for its amazing Bass fishing and catfish so we figured we would give it a try. The house stated it had everything we would need so we packed just clothes, food and our fishing gear.
When we arrived check in was so simple with directions given by owners and we walked stright out to the water and the dock. My boys were so excited that we unloaded and they disappeared with the kayaks and fishing stuff to fish all evening. They came back with some great fishing stories and we talked about where we were go the next day fishing.
We only had a short 3 day stay but we made the best of it and fished everyday and night. In the evening we played games, had some drinks on the doc and relaxed. The game room downstairs was amazing!!!! Only thing my kids said were missing was a firepit so we could do smores. I explained to them it was a rental and the fire hazard and they understood. That was the only complaint from Anyone the whole time.
Everything you would need is in
This home. My favorite part was waking up and having my coffee on the covered porch listening to the birds and even watching the fish jump right out in front of the house. The bugs were not bad for us at all but if they are the whole porch has a net you can close.
My kids have already asked if we can book another trip back. Looks like it will be a new yearly trip we take.
I woukd also like to take a moment to thank the owners for sharing their wonderful home, and for reaching out personally to make sure that everything was good. Which for my family and I it was better than good.
We will be returning and cant wait to stay there again.

Great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway
The property was clean, comfortable, and stocked with the essentials. Also, the owners were very organized and communicative, and we had no trouble checking in or out or using any of the amenities.
Enjoying the lakefront view on the back patio is a great way to spend a slow morning! We really enjoyed our stay here, and wouldn't hesitate to come back again another time.

The house was very clean and the deck overlooking the Lake was a very peaceful place to unwind. The private dock was also lovely and it was awesome to have the fishing gear and the kayaks! I would highly recommend this home.

Great Lake House Experience
The house is as described and has easy lake access from the dock. Location is across the lake from the nearest boat rental location, but the drive is an easy 40 minutes and takes less than an hour trip by boat to get back to the dock at the house. Inside was clean with plenty of towels. Right on the water so bring bug spray or citronella candles, plenty of mosquitoes and gnats if you want to use the outdoor porch. Also suggest bringing toilet paper, unless you’re ok with single ply. AC works really well and overall good value for the weekend.

Great weekend getaway
My family of four had a lovely stay at this beautiful Clear Lake property. We relished everything about the house; the master bedroom and bath were spacious and comfortable and the room with the twin beds was perfect for my 2 children. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed.
The best part of the house is the the great view of the lake, and easy access to the water. The only disappointment was the algae bloom, but we knew about this going in. Nonetheless, my family used the kayaks and had a great time on the water.
The hosts recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions were very helpful. We also visited the nearby Boatique winery with its collection of boats.
The hosts are very responsive and attentive, and helped with rapidly locating and returning a lost item. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful spot on the lake... something for everyone!
Had a great trip to clearlake! Boated during the day then relaxed and spread out in the house in the evening. Game room for the kids was awesome and plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable. Fished off the dock and kayaked all over the lake in the mornings. The house had it all and we will definitely be back!

Description of entire home was not as advertised!
The home was located in an area that was very sketchy. The old post office was located directly next door. To access the living quarters downstairs you must exit from upstairs. Odd layout and should of been explained ! There also was a live bat in the patio downstairs.. my husband killed it. Overall property was clean. Water was full of algae and fished 3 days and caught “NO fish”not even a bite. Outside dock was just OK but we still have motion sickness! I won’t be returning.

Great clean house on the lake and well appointed
This home has it all for a cuple or a family of six!
My fishing partner and I stayed for five nights and enjoyed
every bit of it. It is two miles to the Red Bud Boat ramp, and has easy access to all in town facilities. The sound of the waves, jumping fish and water access is first rate.
We fished four days and caught over 100 fish. This time of year (May 5th to 10th) was perfect for everything.
We also spent a full day of touring, wine tasting and learning the area. There are over 10 wineries within 60 min. on the way to Lakeport and Kelseyville.
Make sure to visit the Boatique wineary in Kelseyville for great wine and a classic woody boat museum

The house was perfect! The lay out is spacious and spotless and the views are grand. Bright and modern décor with amazing linens and a large lake balcony with ample seating. Ideal for family vacation destination with a great room below & water toys/ large dock. This is a top rate rental and I will definitely return. Also, the owners are VERY attentive and are super responsive with all communication.

Great views - accomodating
We had family from out of state visiting and wanted a nice getaway. It's always a gamble to book a vacation home site unseen. This home was awesome. You are right on the water. We had everything needed to make stay enjoyable. Enough blankets. Towels, pillows, even had kitchen essentials needed which you dont normally have. We would definately go back and refer the home to others. Very relaxing.

We loved it and will definitely be coming back
This lake house is beautiful and has an amazing view. So let’s start with the town, the town seems ok it’s not as bad as other people reviewed. There is a few people that seem sketchy but not around the house, I would say more were the town and restaurants are but that’s like a 10 minute drive. The house it’s self is beautiful, and has a lot of privacy. The water was ok, not the best but not the worst we went November 2018 and the water didn’t look like it had to much algae. We enjoyed the Kayaks and the games in the game room. Everything was really clean. Overall me and my family will definitely be coming back, we enjoyed our stay and recommend to anyone who is looking forward to step out of the city life for a weekend. Omg and the water spuds so relaxing during the night and the stars look amazing. I had never seen so many stars before. We did try to fish but didn’t catch anything. There’s this cute little dinner called the spot just a few minutes away. We also went hiking at a hiking trail that was about a 35 minute drive wich was no bad since we enjoyed the drive. I just want to thank the owners who were really nice and easy to get a hold of through a text.
